I don't think that current Inter team is strong enough to win Serie A

Inter are still very likely to win the Serie A title this season and so far they are able to compete. The difference in points from Juventus is only 1 point adrift, Serie A is still long. So the possibility of change will occur in the future. Inter this season is very different already with the 2018/2019 inter season.

this season is indeed a good opportunity for Inter to get the Serie A title, but Juventus are not easy to be shifted from this Serie A title hunt so whatever happens i believe this season the Serie A title race will be hotter because the points between them will not be far adrift and both have good players and coaches

Omicron is another FUD
I don't think that current Inter team is strong enough to win Serie A, they need few more players to be able to compete in both CL and going for Serie A title, and in my opinion  selling Perisic was a mistake, and Lukaku didn't show much so far.
Lukaku has done his best even though he currently has a fitness problem (thigh muscle problems), but from what I have noticed that Juventus deserved to win yesterday's match, they played very relaxed and without pressure.. Juventus currently lead the Italian League standings with 1 point difference from Inter.  On (20/10/19) Juventus will play against Bologna..  if Juve wins in this match, Inter will be difficult to pursue the difference in points.

I'm still under depression after last night's game (Inter-Juve)
Sad and angry
Cause Inter could do better, they played a very important match putting less than 100% power in the field

Conte, please, there must be sanctions on training this week  Cool

First loss after Barcelona when Inter had 1-0, and now another loss against Juventus, i can understand the disappointment..

Inter team is work in progress, Conte can't do miracles over night, but improvements are visible, and it will take time to break Juventus domination.I don't think that current Inter team is strong enough to win Serie A, they need few more players to be able to compete in both CL and going for Serie A title, and in my opinion  selling Perisic was a mistake, and Lukaku didn't show much so far.

It was a great night for football yesterday while Inter vs Juventus played their derby d’Italia.I think that Juventus was more pragmatic, they scored twice against an Inter who tried to play but could not play like they have done until now.

Juventus during the last years have mostly won against Inter so this was common happenings.

I was rooting for Inter yesterday.
Even if this team lost I am happy for them because they managed to play equally with Juventus. They seem to building something amazing during the last years and I hope to see them winning the Scudetto in the subsequent years.

The day after.

I'm still happy about the winning of my Juventus. With a cold mind, I can say that the referee needs to learn how to use yellow cards, missed at least 3 for Inter's butchers.

Anyway looking at this 1st mini race of the year before the pause for Nations, Juventus already won with Inter and Napoli and have 19 of 21 points.

Inter won Lazio and lost with Juve, while Napoli is too far behind.

Need Juve and Inter be afraid of Atalanta? Yes, they are the team with more points on 2019 but keep in mind that Juventus played 8 matches with younghers players form younger selections teams and they trained 1 day /week.

I think you set your expectations a bit too high because of their start of the season. They're good against your average Serie A team, and you can see glipmses of improvement over Spalleti's team (specially from a tactical point of view), but there's still work to do, and yesterday the better team won.

But it's good that in less than a week the manager knows where he stands (a few steps above average teams, a few steps behind top teams like Barca and Juve). Conte's on the right path, though, the idea/gameplan is there, fans just need to give Conte (and the players) some time and in the long run they'll see the results.

And "sanctions"? I didn't see any sanctions after the draw against Slavia Praha, so i doubt ther will be any because of the game yesterday  Wink

it is very natural that you are sad and angry with Conte because he did not give a win against Juventus but there are still many matches left this season. Conte certainly did a lot of evaluations of the squad he trained.

Why would you get angry with Conte if Inter players failed to use the opportunity to score? That's weird.

If you want (or if big_daddy) want to be angry, then you should be angry with the players.
Conte is a former Juventus coach and he should know the weaknesses of Juventus and this gives the chance to win. Inter did not get that, indeed those who played were their players and those who made mistakes were the players. It is normal if people are angry or disappointed with him. btw, I am a Juventus fan and I don't care about Inter's defeat and fans' anger at Conte  Grin

Juve won because Juve has simply more class.Inter was playing similar game like against Barca
Still Inter need to add more offensive and creative players
Whatever to say it was very good game and battle between two great coaches

inter progress this season is very well than previous season. Conte is do his best, he's a great coach. but when the players didn't do what the coach want and make the strategies not goes perfectly i think it's a player error. But it's okay like what i say, inter have a good progress this season than their neighbors Grin

Inter could not take advantage of the opportunity well, they had many opportunities to score goals and also in that match Inter had too many fouls. it is very natural that you are sad and angry with Conte because he did not give a win against Juventus but there are still many matches left this season. Despite the loss, am liking the looks of Inter's three in defence. Now to see if Conte can get them back up from a shitty week.
I felt really sad at the outcome of the game, I wanted inter to win, just as i want inter to win the league. Both teams played well and deserved to win. I think this victory takes juve back to the top of the table, but I think conte and his team would really push juve till the very end, it's gonna be a ferocious title race in the seria A this season.

It's better this way, when one team dominates for so many years, it becomes boring, I hope inter don't fizzle out as time goes on.
Naaaa ah .. i know inter has a good start in the league so far until they faced juventus , that's the real test and it seems the title race still in Juventus pocket which yeah everyone don't like the way juventus dominate the serie A for long time , it's just make the serie A dead and there's no entertainment in it.

My pre-match betslip is for juventus to win both halves and I lost it but then I do make a live betting at around 60' for juventus moneyline @3.5 and at around 75' @4.4 which I won it in the end, thanks to higuain.

Inter milan lost, Napoli draw, AS Roma draw, Lazio draw ... but Atlanta win! And Atlanta on top 3 now! Any thoughts about Atlanta will making a surprise in serie A ?

That's possible, I always place bets on Atlanta especially when Duván Zapata is in the lineup I predict Atlanta will be in the TOP 5 of Serie A this season

Juventus clearly have more quality and experience than Inter. Excellent match, but Juve could have scored more.

I think head to head Juve is the strongest in the Serie A at the moment, but the strongest team not necessarily always be the champion. Inter is only one point behind.
I had a feeling that Juventus were going to win the game yesterday but what i didn't expect was Gonzalo Higuain actually scoring and giving Juventus the much needed win in the end. It was good to see Lautaro Martinez score in his second straight game for Inter Milan but i bet Icardi would have been a more efficient player when it comes to goal scoring.

One point that is still very valuable for Juventus. The competition is not over, there is still a long way to go. Everything can happen in the future, but with the victory of Juventus, of course series A will be even hotter and will be very interesting.
the more competitive the better quality and this will be good for Serie A. I hope that Napoli, Roma, Atalanta and AC Milan are also struggling to compete in the race for the Serie A title. it has been a long time since big Italian clubs have not competed so tightly in the race for the Serie A championship.

Yep, that's about it, Juventus is still stronger team, they were better team and won the game fair and square, gap is still big between those 2 teams. But Inter also made improvements under Conte, and this is good for Italian football and for  Juventus to have some competition.

So far I've been disappointed with Lukaku, i expected more from him, and another issue for Inter in future games will be Stefano Sensi injury, Inter looked much better before he got injured, he will be missed for sure, and Inter doesn't have quality bench.

That stadium is already very old and outdated.
Apparently Inter and MIlan are thinking about the profit the new stadium could bring, with many shops, cafes, offices etc.
Exactly. That is the problem with all other Italian clubs except for Juventus. They don't own their stadiums. They are just leasing it from the city. The only way way that Italian football can see glory again is if they finally understand that they need their own stadiums. Not just a stadium but an entertainment arena that brings profits.

Juventus was the first to understand this. The team plays their matches there but that is only one of its functions. It has restaurants, coffee shops, the Juventus Museum, the J store, conference halls, excursions... they are now building a Juventus Hotel and plans are unfolding to build a separate stadium for the Women's team and the U23 team.
