hmph..
I am not so surprised by what Atalanta has achieved. Because, since last season they showed a very impressive game so as to be able to bring them in the third position in the final standings of serie-a.

Atalanta can't win Champions league, they will surely have fun matches to watch, but their defense is too unpredictable. In one match they can look solid in other like amateurs. They look awesome now, but when big games come you will start to see the problems in their game.

I wouldn't mind if they surprise me, but I don't give them a lot of chances. PSG is beatable though for sure.

In the champions league, as a club that has the first experience to become in the highest league in Europe, they have shown a very convincing performance. Against PSG it could be an interesting match and as proof for Atalanta that they deserve to be in the Champions League and not as a team that is just because of coincidence or luck.

I'm not saying Juve are the only ones benefitting, I guess we're on the same page here that the handball rules are sillier and sillier. That said, Torino's penalty meant nothing, and even if Milan's penalty kickstarted the comeback, neither were as damaging as Juve's one against Atlanta. It's why I brought it up, because I bet on it and it cost me =p

Well if you put on these terms, Juventus has been robbed by 2 points vs Lecce

The ball bounced randomly on DeLigt hands after another random bounce and they got a penalty

Definitely agree;) I don't keep tabs on Serie A but I did for most of the season on VAR-adjusted tables for EPL and of course, it's all meaningless conjecture at any point but I do feel for the teams -- any team -- that bad technology and bad rules hurt. I always favour the spirit of the law, rather than the letter, in football, and I'd rather human errors get that wrong than blind, emotionless laws.

Anyway, moot point. We all think the handball rule sucks ass big time. Any chance of that changing though?

Can Atalanta win again?

Atalanta will win again in SerieA for sure, but I want see what Atalanta can do in the Champions league, I think that PSG is breakable
Can't wait that live match

+1
think that Atalanta could kick-out PSG, especially since they will play last round 10 days before PSG match, so will be on fire and fresh for PSG, and PSG had played last match in March, their form is certainly questionable at the moment
not an Atalanta fan, but they play great football this year, and would like to see them higher in CL, why not on the top if possible

Great win yesterday by Atlanta. Their team have had an impressive run through out season. Too bad they wouldn't get a shot at winning the seria A title because I don't see Juventus slipping now. Second position is enough for now. I'm sure nobody expected Atlanta's powerful run this season. I can't forget how they demolished torino though. It's still.

Later today, Juventus take on Sassuolo. Against Sassuolo, Juventus shouldn't have much problems dominating and taking all points even though they're playing away from home.

Atalanta show a match that does not disappoint...
Atalanta currently has 50 goals while Juventus has only 35 goals, I'm sure Atalanta will finish in second place, Atalanta is very ready to win in the champions league, Atalanta vs PSG will be an exciting match.

Awesome game between Atalanta and Brescia as both team played top football and honestly I didn't even notice that the referee is present in this game as the game was so fluent. Who would have think that Atalanta would score more than 5 goals ( 4 in 1st half ) after this crazy run they have it seems that they cannot run out of fuel and on the other side a team of Brescia who fought with everything they had and scored 2 nice goals.

I don't know why people are praising Atalanta's win against Brescia since we are talking about a team soon to be relegated here. I mean any in the top 5 or even 7 of Serie A can make them look mofe better as Brescia is the 19th team of Seria. Just last 2 weeks ago Inter defeated them by 6 goals to nil and after that they have 3-1 loss against Torino and the game before Atalanta they lost to Roma by 3 goals. Teams who are at least competitive in Serie A can score multiple goals against Brescia. Don't get me wrong on this one, I'm not saying Atalanta didn't do a good job but what I'm saying is they did a good job on a not so good team.

Atalanta 6-2...wtf is this team?  Cheesy

Well, any comments about the games tomorrow? Sassuolo - Juventus looks like it's going to be a goal fest, i might add BTTS to a parlay. Sassuolo are in great form, scoring tons of goals in every match post-virus, but they have a weak defence and Ronaldo & Co might could capitalize on that, hmm...

Edit: Atlanta back in business just 30 minutes and leading by 4 - 1 Roll Eyes
If you had told me a year ago that Atalanta was going to score 100 goals in this season (they need 7 more to reach that mark), i would've called you mad and probably would've added you to my ignore list LOL crazy stuff, I'm looking forward to see if they can keep this form in the CL.

<...>
yo, there's honestly no need to post the league fixtures here every week, we can look this up on google or some place else

Atalanta is on fire obviously, they needed just one minute to score against Brescia, and one more win is probably there, to secure second position, at least for a day, since they will have one match more than Lazio and Inter, but their form is at maximum at the moment, looking at their schedule, match with Inter in last round could be a second position decision maker match, and after that one, they will have 10 days to fresh-up for PSG, if they play like this, PSG could be in trouble
Brescia give some tight reply after 9 minutes match is draw look like we are going to watch some good number of goals from Atlanta as they are really good in attack and have good number of goals against big teams so today its again over 3.5 is going to be very good for all of us.

I can't agree with that. The handball rules in Italy are retarded, but they are equally retarded for all. That needs to change, but Juventus has been punished by idiotic penalties as well. Torino and Milan are good examples. The only difference is when the penalties are awarded against Juventus, the media (mostly Milan-based) doesn't care. When it goes in Juventus' favor, they lose their mind.

But Atalanta were robbed. If they had won, it's be 6 points difference, Juventus slipping and losing.

count me in, I will watch this game for sure
Atalanta should win this one easily with a handicap -1.5 or even -2.5

Yeah easy for Atalanta tonight. Brescia isn't that tough opponents and with the attacking line Atalanta has, they can easily get past their defence and score goals. I also feel like this one is gonna be a game with high amount of goals as Brescia is a side which comes after Lecce as high amount of goals conceeded. I am not sure about BTTS since Atalanta defence isn't that good either but Atalanta should get this game with good margin so going for handicap and over/under goals would be the right choice in this one.

Serie A, from now on, has two very interesting races with 3 competitors for each:
- The race to the second position among: Inter Milan (68), Lazio (68), and Atalanta (67).
- The race to the fifth and sixth positions (to Europa League) among: Roma (54), Napoli (52) and Milan (50). Sassuolo can join it too but I don't think they will be able to join it.
first race is meh, they're all qualified to champions league already, so =P

the other one is where the good stuff is going down. I wouldn't underestimate Sassuolo, they've been playing some good football after the league returned. With 6 games left to play and 7th place being only 4 points away, Sassuolo are totally in the race for the europea league spots spots.

anyone watching Atalanta - Brescia tonight? such an exciting game to watch, can't wait  Grin
