Somehow I felt disappointed with Atlanta's performance in this game because their most recent performance has been such that has helped me built so much confidence in the fact that I believe they were going to be able to win this game against fiorentina especially with the fact that they are at home, so the host advantage to me ment everything because they already had a from that looked like they can't be defeated at home.

It is true that in the last two seasons we have seen Serie A with fairly easy competition for the teams that dominate first place with a large points difference. But at the start of the season, Inter Milan did not easily get to 1st place. Inter Milan sometimes loses points and gets a draw. But they remain consistent and continue to keep the gap widening with other teams. But Napoli last season made a big difference from the start of the season with an unbeaten record throughout the first half at that time. So Napoli have had a difference since the first half of last season. but Napoli started to weaken in the second half of last season and then made the difference thin but remained in a safe position. But unfortunately for Napoli this season they are really a bad team and can only finish in 10th place. And that is a very big difference. Last season Napoli became champions but this season Napoli didn't even get any tickets to European competitions. But next season, Napoli has the potential to recover and improve their performance after getting a new, better coach. And the team also needs to shop for better players. Because I see this team only releasing great players one by one without compensating them with new, better players. Maybe this transfer market will also be interesting for us to pay attention to.

In the last two seasons, namely this season and last season, there has always been a big difference between 1st place and 2nd place. Previously I had said several times about concerns in this match when Atalanta was safely in 3rd place to get a ticket to the champions league and had also won the title at UEL which would not affect anything in the last match and only appeared completely without strength.

When we had other teams like Napoli, AS Roma and also Atalanta that just came up this concluded season, we can see an inconsistent performance in them and they can’t be confidently vouch for to be league contenders until towards the end of the season if they maintain that consistency which we haven’t seen any of them but always on an average. Just look at the case of Napoli that won the league title last season and couldn’t even make it to the Europa league for next season.


If it is Inter Milan, I have no doubts for them even the next season to be league contenders again, they’ve proven for years to be amongst the best in the Serie A. The difference of 21 points between them and the second place AC Milan is a clear sign that they are really a dominant team here. I still have six teams I still feel will finish in the top six positions of next season; Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, AS Roma, Atalanta and Napoli. Napoli’s performance this season might be poor but I still think they can do better next season to come out victorious and amongst top contenders for the league title.

Both teams played like they had nothing to lose in this match, and that was natural because whatever the result actually didn't have much influence on their position. They played openly and many goals were scored in the first half, there were 5 goals scored in the first half, Atalanta 2 and Fiorentina 3.
I think what makes Fiorentina play well like this is because they play freely, it's different when they played in the final against Olympiacos, they carried a burden and that might be one of the factors they didn't play like this.
This match was quite balanced, it's just that Fiorentina was better at taking advantage of opportunities to score goals. No more goals have been scored in the second half and maybe this will be the final result, or Atalanta can score a goal and make the match end with a draw.

 The game is currently at halftime and I must say it was an exciting first half to watch as both sides didn't spare each other in the aspect of goals with the first half producing a total of 5 goals, two from the hosts and three from Fiorentina and this leaves me to wonder why they (Fiorentina)couldn't play this way when they met Olympiakos in the Europa conference league final or is it because Atalanta are a familiar team or is that their luck just couldn't shine on them?
 You can say Atalanta are just having fun in the game because whether they win or not, they are already eligible for champions league next season but maybe will want to overthrow Juventus in third place just because they can do it and I'm hoping for a more exciting and goal filled second half.

By looking at what happened in the previous 2 seasons where when a club gets the Scudetto surely the next season will end with conditions that are not too favorable then I still expect the same thing to happen this season.

Indeed, for now Inter's dominance is undeniable but seeing the condition of several clubs and indeed Inter's situation which could be unexpected, this hope is certainly still there and we only need to see whether Inter can overcome the Serie A curse or not because when they can do the same performance as this season, it is certain that it will be very difficult for other clubs to make a breakthrough and rival Inter at this time.

Inter have players who are quite capable in each of their lines, especially for their midfielders and attack lines which are quite complex, making Inter's conditions very dominant in determining the match so that indeed if they want to compete with Inter next season, some big clubs must make changes in terms of players and of course in terms of schemes so that their performance can be better than Inter.
