There is no doubt that Antonio Conte is a great coach who has a lot of experience coaching big clubs. So it is not surprising that everyone feels that Conte will be able to make Napoli become a strong club in Serie A again under his coaching. But I'm not sure Oshimen will still be kept from being sold if a high offer comes in. But there is also news that Chelsea, who were initially interested in Osimhen, have apparently abandoned their intention to bring in the Napoli striker. In fact, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, he said that Chelsea are indeed looking for a new striker but Chelsea are not negotiating to bring in Osimhen. So it could be said that the news regarding Chelsea intending to exchange Lukaku for Osimhen is just an issue. And Chelsea actually only wants to let Lukaku go without wanting to exchange him. And I have a feeling that Osimhen will not leave Napoli. Because even though there is a lot of news circulating that big teams want him, in reality it seems like there hasn't been any definite discussion about this and it's probably just an issue.
Yes you are right I also think Antonio Conte is great coach who can help Napoli do well in Serie A. But it's not clear what will happen to Osimhen. Chelsea was interested in him but now they might not be. Even if they offer lot of money, Napoli might not sell him. Chelsea mainly wants to get rid of Lukaku, not trade him for Osimhen. I don't think Osimhen will leave Napoli unless team makes serious offer. If he stays, Conte can help him improve his skills.

Osimhen's motivation seems to have diminished. He played great last year and every team was trying to get him, but this year he has had a lower form chart. The transfer fee will thus be lower. We know PSG and Chelsea want him. I believe that if he goes to one of these two teams, he will be more successful than Napoli.
Successful? Napoli are facing a whole lot of challenge this season and they're crumbling with every resources at their disposal. Victor Osimhen was the best African player but this season is different because his club have declined in performance and they've also fallen out of the race to win the Scudetto. Looking at the current position of Napoli, they ended 10th position on the table and this is really frustrating for such an elite team.
This is a nightmare for some players who achieved success last season. Napoli's journey this season has been really messy and ending up outside the European zone is truly embarrassing. I don't really understand what really happened with Napoli so that this season their performance has really dropped and they had to change coaches in the middle of the season, which has left Osimhen and his friends unable to do anything. It looks like next season will not progress much if there is no team overhaul.
Napoli performance this season was really unbelievable from them after being the diffending champion of Italian last season, although their poor performance have really affect Osimhen because by this time last season all most everybody was very happy about the good performance of Osimhen both in the newspapers and social median, but this season they couldn't even qualify for Europe league, however even in their league table they end up in 10th possion.
Last season, Napoli's performance was extraordinary. Under the control of Luciano Spalletti, Napoli only lost four times in Serie A. And they were able to win the Scudetto title, this was their first Scudetto after waiting for 33 years. Unfortunately for Napoli, the Scudetto is not a moment to continue to be at the top level of Italian football. Napoli is actually in freefall for the 2023/2024 season. After the scudetto, Napoli made a decision which in my opinion was a big mistake. Napoli parted ways with the coach, Luciano Spalletti. This is the beginning of the complicated situation experienced by Napoli for the 2023/2024 season. Napoli start the new season with Rudi Garcia as coach. However, he was fired after playing 16 matches. His position was replaced by Walter Mazzarri, a figure who in the past had coached Napoli for more than 180 matches. However, Mazzarri did not bring a positive trend. Mazzarri was fired after leading 17 matches. His position was replaced by Francesco Calzona.

Napoli is really unstable with three coaching changes in one season. Napoli failed to defend their title after playing under three different coaches following the departure of coach Luciano Spalletti. However, to face next season, Napoli is starting to look for a head coach to start the next season and they have chosen Antonio Conte who has many achievements. This will be Conte's first job since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in March 2023. He has the tough task of lifting Napoli to the top flight of Serie A after their poor performance in the 2023-24 season. With the status of defending champions of the Italian League, Victor Osimhen et al only finished in 10th place with 53 points and failed to appear in Europe next season. Can Conte restore Napoli's performance and compete at the top of the league next season?

Without having to move to another team, Victor Osimhen's selling price will still be high, because the coach will probably look at Victor Osimhen's skills, not which team he belongs to. His match history is also very good so it is impossible for his selling price to drop. So far, Napoli still really needs Victor Osimhen so it is impossible for Napoli to let him go at a very cheap price. His young age also adds value to Victor Osimhen's price because he is one of the best attacking players with a variety of experience.
Yes, it depends on his ability so far so the selling price will remain high, Victor Oshimen is still a goal scoring machine for Napoli and his match statistics are still quite good although not as many as last season but Victor Oshimen has been absent a lot, he only played 25 games in the league and scored 15 goals whereas last season Victor Oshimen played more matches so it is natural that his number of goals was more last season and he was also the number 1 top scorer but unfortunately this season he only occupies the 3rd position in the top scorer list and has the same number as Olivier Giroud so I I think Victor Oshimen's selling price is still quite high based on current statistics.

So far, Napoli is waiting for offers from other clubs who are willing to recruit their flagship player, even though Victor Oshimen is an important player for the club, but it seems that Napoli wants to reap big profits by selling their star player. Chelsea reportedly wants to recruit Oshimen but there are rumors that Chelsea is not willing to recruit this Nigerian player and many Chelsea fans say that they don't need Victor Oshimen because they feel Oshimen is not the player the club needs, but for me Victor is still a good player to this day.

Rumors circulating he had intended to go in the previous season but the management did not release it. Although many offered a contract for him as a player who had the capacity to score goals. This season there are several teams that chase his signature but there is no certainty about his future.
The future of the player is in safe hands? I would suggest Victor Osimhen looks for the nearest exits for the purpose to keep his market price high and stable. Victor Osimhen should make a good decision that will best for him and not for selected options that will later haunt him in the future. He's a top player and also goal machine for Napoli and Antonio Conte will definitely make good use of the Nigeria international because he's made headcoach for Napoli this season. There'd quite alot of task to take care of and I trust Antonio Conte to be the man for the job.

You are very correct in the fact that the pressure osimhen may face in the french league may actually be really different a d leaser than that which he will face in the English side as in the french side, there's a legacy of dominance up on which he's just going to establish his composure and reduce pressure on him because it's actually going to look easy somehow for him as a top player in the french top team.

The above benefits in the french league comes with its own disadvantage that the English league will better position osimhen and give him better Chances to be exposed to even more opportunities. With PSG he's got to be quiet limited just like mbappe which has promoted his leave, so if the advancement of the career if of more importance to osimhen, I think the English league should be of priority to him than he would with the french side, I'm very sure even osimhen is aware of all this and knows that the french side may offer more money but he gets more opportunities around the English side.

In the Ligue 1 they don't really get much attention as the premier league does, except for some exceptional performance and players the rest don't get the kind of attention they need to make their career go beyond the level it is at currently. In the English  league, they get more attention and have even more opportunities coming in for players, PSG win the league 1 title but it wasn't even celebrated as much as the premier league was so the difference is actually very clear.
I totally agree with you. Playing for PSG in France might be easy and comfortable for Osimhen but English league is where he will face real challenge and get noticed. English league is more popular and offers more opportunities than French league. Even when PSG wins league title it's not as big deal as winning Premier League. If Osimhen wants to improve his career he should consider playing in English league. It is place where best players are made and Osimhen can grow and succeed if he takes on the challenge.

I agree with you, but in general terms or a little more crudely, although it sounds ugly, Osimhen if he wants to earn money and some fame, he should go to PSG, but if he wants recognition and if he wants to be in the best league in the world so far, then he can make history in the PL, he can be lucky and they give him a big salary, but he would be in the elite of world football and any player does not have that opportunity, it is like opportunity vs challenge, there I think Osimhen must decide what is best for him and taking into consideration what the future holds for him, if he chooses A, then he will reach “B”, if he chooses “B” then he will reach “C”, something like that is what he must visualize.

It's true that I think Osimhen should stay with Napoli, he must be able to prove that he needs the right coach to return to his best performance, as we know Osimhen has been off track this season and he is not playing optimally Instead of competing at the top of the standings, Napoli were not even able to get a ticket to the Champions League. Many people blame Osimhen for losing his ability to score goals but I'm sure he must have a reason for the problem.

According to transfermarkt, Osimhen market value has decreased this season previously its market value €120 million and now it is only €110 million clearly this is the impact of his performance in a season. Napoli certainly doesn't want to lose the value of its assets then next season they should be able to increase it again.

Yes, I fully agree with you that Osimhen is a talented player, but I don't think management treated him unfairly. The truth is that Napoli was not in good form this season, and that is why we did not see Osimhen work much. As it always works, when a team is not in good form, As it always works, when a team is not in good form, it will seriously affect players performance, no matter how good the players may be, so I don't think that Napoli management mistreated Osimhen. If it is about discipline, the coach needs to discipline this player if he commits an offence, so to avoid unnecessary actions from repeating themselves. If Osimhen wants to leave Napoli, I will prefer him to join PSG over Chelsea because, currently, we don't know where their performances are ending.
The fact that osimhen is a talented player and have been able to achieve quiet a lot with them the previous season is. A reason he would should have been seen and appreciated differently even with some preference away from other players just like found in other leagues where they have got preference for some of their top players but then it was sad they didn't even consider osimhwn that much.

Leaving has always been what osimhen wanted, considering all that was still happening in the team aswell, he was  not really getting to bond well with most of the team mates in the team this season, the team was also characterized with so much of internal crisis which aswell affected the team and their general performance was really poor and slow as you did mentioned because they weren't able to even get to get good results and they had to battle with consistency with which osimhen later suffered injury which aswell affected the team.

They have got a whole lot to fix this season of which if they are able to get it fixed before the end of the season again, rhey may be able to get better results by next see but then the absence of osimhen is definitely going to cause some difficulty in the team such that they may find it difficult to get productive just as they have struggled all these years before the arrival of osimhen who brought them the trophy.

🚨 The official announcement for Milan’s appointment of Fonseca as the new head coach is expected to take place in the first or second week of June when the team returns from Australia

Fonseca is expected to do better than Pioli, yes of course when it comes to the Scudetto title. Karnea, it's true that Milan failed here and they hope that under Fonseca, Milan can be more competitive and successful again next season, especially to win the Serie A title. In fact, Milan, through Flamini, also said that Pioli's achievements were not bad and the team continued to develop. However, Milan hopes to win the title next season. So, they expect a lot from Fonseca. Of course, this is a challenge in itself for Fonseca to bring Milan much better than the previous season, especially to win the Serie A title. Because if not, then his position at Milan might also be threatened. However, this is just the beginning and Fonseca has already started designing it for sure.

On the other hand, Flamini is also very confident that Paulo Fonseca, ex-LOSC football manager, can be the right coach for Milan at this time. Not only at LOSC, but previously Paulo Fonseca was also in Rome for 2 years. So, he is at least familiar with Serie A. Flamini is sure that his decision was the right one, because he believes that Paulo Fonseca is a professional football manager, with quite good experience, and provides beautiful football experience. and he hopes that all parties will like his decision well.

Last season was a good season for Osimhen and Napoli still need to make some efforts to make his value increase even though there are several clubs like Chelsea and PSG who are rumored to want to take him but indeed seeing from what happened last season PSG also only made him a domino effect to anticipate Mbappe's departure so with that Napoli moved quickly by giving a new contract with a large release clause for this player.

Now actually for Oshimen he had to leave sooner or later. Conditions at Napoli are not very conducive for him this season. Apart from some injury problems he had, this season we can also see how the dispute that occurred between Osimhen and the Club even with some player agents that indeed made him uncomfortable and for good rather than imposing on Napoli it would be better if he decided to leave in a situation that was still profitable for him and also Napoli of course because with the sale of Osimhen at least Napoli will get a large enough income.

I agree that Oshimen should leave Napoli to find a new club to develop his career. However, owner Aurelio De Laurentiis continuously pushed up the transfer price, so all European giants gave up. The Nigerian striker's contract with Napoli expires in 2025 and there is no contract release clause. The lack of a contract release clause makes Osimhen a difficult commodity to obtain. Oshimen's value has decreased when this season he and the whole club performed poorly. Even the rich PSG guy is not very interested in going to Oshimen.

But if his contract is released, Osimhen should choose a club with potential for development. One thing I only advise him is to stay far away from MU club and coach Erik ten Hag if he doesn't want to ruin his career. Grin

Admittedly, NApoli's performance declined with the change of coach Luciano Spalletti, and racist treatment of black players changed everything.
Apart from the racist treatment towards Victor Osimhen, the club owner's desire to move to a club that was not granted could cause Victor Osimhen's performance to decline.
So Victor Osimhen should go find a club that can treat him better, because if he stays at Napoli he will most likely always be treated badly.
and rumors are that PSG and Chelsea are the frontrunners to get Victor Osimhen

Racism apart and the players bad treatment, I believe the coach Spalleti is not a good coach and that’s summed up in his awful season and result at Napoli.

He could not bring out the best in any player, nor get the team scoring enough goals or challenging for the league; very poor talisman

Exactly, how cool and great Atalanta, the only club that beat Leverkusen this season, in the final match of UEFA Europe League. As I said, this may not be expected by many people, but Atalanta really could break the record.
His highest achievement was not only winning the UEFA Europa League for Atalanta, but also "BEAT Leverkusen, much bigger even bigger and more prestigious."

I agree with you. Congratulations to Atalanta who not only succeeded in becoming European League champions but succeeded in becoming the first team to break Liverpool's unbeaten record.
You meant, Leverkusen, bro.  Grin
Yeah, there is still 1 remaining match to be played by Atalanta against Fiorentina.
The match will take place tomorrow and this will also close the series of matches in Serie A this season. In fact, whatever the result, it will not affect the position of Atalanta or Fiorentina. Because, Atalanta will still be in 4th position and Fiorentina in 8th position. But this is the final match, so at least they can leave the most positive impression for their fans. especially for Atalanta who are looking at the end of this season to create a very big opportunity and win the Europa League, of course, the hope for the fans is that Atalanta will not lose in this match.

After finding out about Milan's sacking Pioli recently I'm curious about who they will bring for the job. I couldn't find any news related to a candidate yet. Does anyone suitable comes to your mind?  Huh
Milan have announced that they have received an agreement to choose Paulo Fonseca as their new coach for the next 3 years. Previously, this Portuguese professional football manager was the coach of Lille who led the club to achieve improved position in the French League. This season, Lille managed to climb to 4th place. So, it seems like Milan is also looking at how capable he is in managing the club, but this is Fonseca's challenge to manage an even bigger club in a bigger league too.

I only remember Pochettino who is available after getting sacked by Chelsea recently. He hasn't managed an Italian team in his career yet but there is always an opportunity to try a new adventure.  Smiley  If Mourinho didn't sign a deal with Fenerbahçe then maybe there might have been a chance for him to return to Italy. But Milan seems like they have a strict policy with bringing an Italian manager. Most of their managers so far have been like that so let's see who it will be this time.
I don't think Milan has fired Pioli and maybe this is the final step they can take before next season starts. We know that Milan's record is not good enough even though they managed to finish in 2nd place in the standings and if they had not dropped points in some of their matches then they would have been much more reliable as Inter's competitors in winning the Scudetto.

But it's all over and they really have to do something different next season. Regarding the available coaches, I don't think Pochettino will be suitable to handle the Italian team and if possible they could contact Conte who is also still available on the market. I think an Italian coach will still be Milan's main choice rather than a coach from another country.

While I was waiting to see Conte joining teams like AC Milan and especially Juvnetos. It was very much surprising for me to see Conte talking with Napoli to start working there in the next season.
After Luciano Spalletti left Napoli and started working in Italy they couldn't get success with the other ocahs they hire that's why it seems Napoli decided to hire Conte for the next season.
This can be a risk for Conte to accept this offer because Napoli is not in the good situation and he can put his reputation in danger for Napoli. But the situation in Napoli is just like the situation of Chelsea back in 2016 when they won the Premier League but before they hired Conte they had a bad performance and Conte helped them to win the Premier League again. Maybe this time we can expect to see Conte doing the same thing in Napoli.

Currently, Napoli have their new coach, namely. Antonio Conte has now entered into an agreement with Napoli, so that this season he will be the sole coach of Napoli in the future until at least 2027. The transfer has been agreed with €230m for the transfer budget.

And indeed, one of the rumors is that the sale of Osimhen is to increase income to meet the expenses which are large enough to bring in the coach. However, in fact, Napoli's condition is not as good as before regarding their finances. So there is a possibility that Osimhen will still be sold.

https://football-italia.net/conte-clause-and-transfer-budget-at-napoli/

Yes, Osimhen seems to be lost this season. He is no longer sought after by big clubs. I don't appreciate his talent. Perhaps you are right when you say that a coach is someone who influences an individual and the team as a whole. I don't know what Antonio Conte will do to help Napoli club return to its peak. Can Antonio Conte do it or will owner Aurelio de Laurentiis continue to fire him?

As for Osimhen, the Napoli striker has made up his mind to leave, but the club's owners are determined to collect the largest amount of money possible if forced to sell him. This deal will probably only have a chance to progress if Conte is appointed head coach of Napoli. The Italian coach likes Lukaku and if they get Lukakku, owner Aurelio de Laurentiis will agree to sell Osimhen to PSG or Chelsea.
Yes, I don't know, because up to now there seems to be no release regarding this matter. There are rumors that Conte most likely wants to include Lukaku in the squad rather than Osimhen. But it will also depend on subsequent considerations. Conte and Napoli are currently still discussing several things, not least of which is related to Osimhen. because, of course, with prices that high, Napoli's hopes for Conte will certainly be much greater than those of their coaches in the 2023/2024 season which was a big failure. So, Conte will definitely be much more careful in deciding the tactics he will use, including in the choice of players.
https://onefootball.com/id/berita/antonio-conte-could-want-romas-romelu-lukaku-at-napoli-39428070

Spalletti managed to make Napoli able to win the Scudetto last season after almost 33 years of their title fast, Spalletti struggle to end Napoli title fast was not an easy thing but with every process that exists of course he has proven that Spalletti is a reliable coach, but unfortunately the bad relationship with the owner of Napoli actually made Spalletti decide to leave and choose to coach the current Italian national team,  After Spalletti left, Napoli experienced a drastic decline in performance and even three changes of coach in one season were not able to make Napoli better.
Currently, Spalletti is focused on becoming the Italy national team. And indeed, Spalletti's success in making Napoli become Serie A champions last season will always be a benchmark for Napoli's future success which is expected from their coaches. Meanwhile, this season, Napoli really failed, really failed, especially in choosing a coach, so the results obtained were very bad this time. And they also tried to fix it all by getting Conte as their next coach and they dared to pay him a very high price. Of course, that's because Napoli wants them to be able to occupy the first position in Serie A again next season, competing with the top Serie A clubs strongly.

what I know is that Milan lost several times, which you said was not entirely the coach's fault, but as far as I remember, at that time, Milan had problems with main players being injured, so several main players had to be replaced with reserve players, which ended up having to suffer several defeats and not being able to compete with Inter.
and on the one hand, the quality of Inter players is really very different from the talent and teamwork which is far superior to Milan, while Pioli has actually provided the right strategy and contributed to being the best team, but the fact is that whatever Milan does is not enough to compete with Inter.

regarding the coach who might be Pioli replacement and suitable for Milan, it is actually not Conte, because I heard from several people on this forum providing sources that Conte would prefer to be with Napoli and seems to have agreed to work together next season.
Mourinho is one of the experienced coaches who might be more suitable to replace Pioli, even though Pioli is still convincing to become Milan coach, but if Milan management really wants to find a new coach, it looks like Mourinho could be one of the candidates for a new coach who can bring Milan to the next level.

After finding out about Milan's sacking Pioli recently I'm curious about who they will bring for the job. I couldn't find any news related to a candidate yet. Does anyone suitable comes to your mind?  Huh

They parted ways with him, I haven't read anything relating to sack and stuff, they respect him for winning the Seria A Competition even though he had a bad season.
Some couple players also will be allowed to leave the club and tu first of them that comes to mind is Olivier Giroud who will be joining one of these MLS sides.

I don't really have no idea, but both Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochetino should take a break for now.
Mauricio Pochetino also won't be tactically fit to work with that club, not even Zlatan Ibrahimovic will recommend him lol for his club...

Jose Mourinho is too defensive for my liking, his style of the game is outdated but he has been so stubborn about it using it continuously although it pays of sometimes. Ac Milan has too many attacking players for Jose Mourinho who is too much of a defensive coach to handle that attacking players? It's not fair.

I never understood why teams are spending this much money on managers for long term. I get that you are not going to convince any manager with a one year offer, which is understandable because managers do want some sort of guarantee, but also wouldn't be smart to tell the managers that they should trust themselves?

If you are a great manager then you should be able to actually do something wonderful, by 2027 means that Conte will be there for 2024-2025 season and then 2025-2026 season and also 2026-2027 season, meaning a three year contract. If he starts and plays the team terrible for 20-30 games in a row, then you will want to fire him, which means you will pay 2.5 years of contract unpaid amount to him, makes no sense. Two years is max I would offer.
