Actually it's been a boring weekend and also a boring week too without football especially for we who happens to be football lovers it's not been a really interesting wee but then thanks God the international break is over and the return of club football is here again and we can for a while enjoy football once again, I have not been able to really enjoy a weekend without football as it feel too boring for  me.

The match against Juventus and Aston villa has gone pass the first half Already and Juventus isn't doing well enough, their performance is such that they are not looking like they will be able to win although it's been a goalless draw in the first half but Aston villa seems to have more chances and opportunity to probably get a win in this game much more than Juventus would do and I expected Juventus would have done better because they are In.a good position and form but then it appears that Aston villa has got the home advantage and are making good use of it.

If Juventus happens to loose this game, it will be really detrimental to them because they wouldn't be able to get to the second position on the table finishing well so they will be able to find their selves In a good league next season but they have. Not been in the best form so far but then they have still get some more opportunities to still probably get to the second position of the table by the end of the season.

It is quite painful to see Napoli's defeat today to Atlanta, actually I have very high expectations for Napoli to be able to shift Atlanta's position in the standings serie A, because in my opinion Napoli has all the advantages to win the game with the qualified squad they have, besides that the status as the home team,Napoli should be able to take advantage of every momentum in the match to be able to win,  On the other hand, the disappointment was more painful when Napoli had to lose by a big score and actually failed to score a single goal in the match.

Napoli actually had chances to score with the many chances they created in the game, but poor finishing certainly made them have to fall behind Atlanta even though throughout the game Napoli managed to dominate the game, I think Atlanta should thank Carnesecchi who performed quite brilliantly in saving his goal from conceding after a barrage of attacks from Napoli,  And I think apart from Miranchuk, of course, Carnesecchi' brilliant performance deserves to make him the best player in the match.

I did not watch the game (only a text broadcast) and according to the statistics, Napoli did not deserve a major defeat:

This win is good for the Atlanta which is now going to stay at the sixth spot for few weeks and if they are able to have some improvement then surely we can expect them for having some fight for the fifth or fourth spot with Bologna and Roma which are on good run for the last few weeks and have strong hold on their spots with their good performance.

Finally, the national break is over and the leagues have started. I missed football a lot during the break for the national matches. I think Lazio vs Juventus will be an enjoyable match. Lazio beat Frosinone away in their last league game. Lazio, like Napoli, is a team far from last season's performance. But they still have a balanced image this season. They scored 36 goals and conceded 33 this season. On the other hand, Juventus lost their pace in the race for the league title and dropped to third place in the league. Both teams are going through a chaotic period. But both teams have equal strengths. I'll bet on both teams to score in this match.

The form inter Milan has got this season is such that they will be able to stand against any other team in the Italian league and be able to get victory most of the times because they have got a very good strength this season and have got a good consistency aswell which has aswell reflected in their results this long since this season, getting out of the champions league aswell has also increased their focus on the serie A.

Their biggest rival would have been Juventus but then it's sad that Juventus lost so much form already such that inter Milan is ahead of them by more than 10 points on the table so they are far away from inter Milan and can't be able to get close to inter Milan or be the next team to  be right behind them and get to the top of the table, Ac Milan is even currently more stable than Juventus in the serie A this season, the serie A has not really been competitive recently so most of the teams has just been up with average performance especially in their recent performances.

I have not really taught of Juventus been able to get back to the second position on the table but then somehow I think it's still possible as it looks like they may seem to have a chance to probably get to the top of the second position on the table but then they have not been consistent enough and at This Point they have been sustained with some levels of struggling in the league so far.

I don't think I've ever in my life seen such a huge downgrade of any football team in any league in the space of two years.
Last year they won the scudetto and this year they are at risk of not qualifying for the lowest European cup.

It is indeed difficult for Napoli to hope for the top four in the standings this season because Atalanta and Roma have both made a fairly good point gap with Napoli. Not to mention that Bologna continues to maintain its current position in the top four of the standings, so there will not be an easy opportunity for Napoli to hope for a top four position if they still lose at home as happened in today's match. It seems like there are many things that need to be improved by Napoli so that they don't continue to experience bad luck like today.

Napoli needs to fight for themselves if they want to be in any European competition, and not using Milan to have hope. Atalanta is now on the 6th position with one point behind Roma. They still have an outstanding match which if they win, they would put Roma behind them to be 5th on the table. There is still big possibility of Atalanta going to the Champions League next season if they keep up with their consistency, because Bologna who is sitting on the 4th position is 5 points ahead of them.

This is a surprising result because Napoli, who is playing at home, is initially quite the favorite, especially in the last few matches, Napoli has shown quite impressive performance, but in this match, it appears that the Napoli players are not playing as usual, so Atalanta can take advantage of the Napoli players' negligence to win the match and 3 goals without reply was really embarrassing for Napoli in front of their own supporters.

Now there is no hope left for Napoli to enter the European zone, although mathematically with 9 remaining matches it is possible, but their inconsistent performance and inadequate strength mean that the Napoli team will not have another chance to do so.

In fact, when Inter managed to beat Juventus at that time because Juventus became a team that was very close to Inter at the top of the table, but when Inter managed to beat Juventus I was fully convinced, that the Scudetto this season would be obtained by Inter. But sometimes, even the best have off days, and this was one of them. Even with the home crowd behind them, they couldnt find that spark. It happens, even when you desperately want those points. And look, with results like this, Napoli's got a tough road to climb for that top 4 spot. Its a shame, but thats the reality of this league.

With this defeat,Napoli deprived themselves of a chance to reach the Champions League zone, now there is a 9-point difference between them and Bologna, and Napoli have played one game more. Napoli didn't play badly, they even tried to attack more, but it was a disastrous match for the attack.
Juventus will play with Lazio today, given how poorly Juventus is playing now, I admit that today they will not be able to get three points again, and Bologna will most likely beat Salarnitana. Should Juventus start to worry already?

Napoli will soon lose every UEFA competitions spots and might risk not playing any international game next year by the end of the season. Inter no longer has any pressure in Serie A, they are just trying to be consistent in the last 5 matches to win the rest, whether Inter loses or draws, they can still get the Serie A title because Inter has also widened the gap quite far with the teams below them, meanwhile for the teams who are at the bottom of the standings are currently struggling hard to be able to consistently win, but for Salernitana I'm not sure whether they can catch up because they are already quite far behind the teams that are in the relegation zone.

This defeat contributes to a nightmare season for Napoli. Even they have very small opportunity to join top four, they still hoped for joining it after were kicked out of Champions League by Barcelona. This defeat breaks that hope and they have to return to realisty that they will end this season with very poor performances and results after all.

The last season was sweet but this season is very bitter for Napoli. Now they will have to adjust their target, from top four to lower positions that can help them to join Europa League or Conference League next season.

Race amongst Bologna, Roma, and Atalanta for a fourth position is very exciting. They don't have big gaps with each other and with 9 match days, many things in rankings of these clubs can be changed.

It has been 2 seasons since Inter Milan failed to win Serie A since becoming the final champion in the 2020/21 season and last season they were too focused on the UCL so they only finished in Serie A in the top 3, this is the reason why this season they are quite enthusiastic in fighting for it Serie A title.
Moreover, last season failure was not only in Serie A but also UCL which was only able to become runners-up, they may have burning desire to avenge this failure and now for Serie A it is clear that Inter Milan is guaranteed to have it.
They are very comfortable this season for the future until the competition is over because the gap is so big it will be impossible for anyone to catch up and surpass it, but what is shame is that they had to be eliminated from the UCL because of the defeat to Atletico Madrid.

Inter Milan umpteenth failure in the UCL, they can only repeat it again next season and of course it will be even more difficult because there are other team with very strong performances that can be an obstacle for Inter Milan, such as Leverkusen and Liverpool.
If it fails again then it can be said that Inter Milan in the near future will not have the mentality to become champions of the UCL, the most prestigious competition in European football.

Napoli fell horribly at home after being heavily beaten by Atalanta with a score of 0-3 and honestly I didn't think something like this would happen. The reason is that Napoli are quite good and even if they lost it wouldn't be embarrassing like this, but it seems that Atalanta didn't show any mercy and they broke into Napoli's goal so easily. One thing I realized from this match was how Napoli's defense was so weak that Atalanta easily knocked them out in front of the fans' support.

This result made Napoli fail to shorten the points gap from Atalanta and meanwhile for Atalanta they succeeded in stealing points and widening the points gap from Napoli. Now Atalanta is getting closer to Roma, who are only separated by 1 point, but at least Atalanta has the advantage of playing fewer matches considering that Roma will have their 30th match on April 1 against Lecce.
