I don't think Napoli will concede easily like that in the first half where they are 2 goals behind the visitors. I thought beforehand that maybe this match would be tight considering that actually these two teams didn't have any significant differences. However, what happened in the first half broke what I predicted before this match took place.
Entering the last 2 minutes of normal time in the second half, they were still 2 goals behind, they had great difficulty penetrating the defense built by Atalanta. Atalanta had prepared all this, they were prepared with a tough defense to maintain the lead they got in the second half. If they continue to play like this, then in my opinion they will not be able to score goals in this match and they will have to feel disappointed because they lost to Atalanta in their home match. Had it been a goal down, given their current form, one might hope that they may get a goal to probably end the game in a draw but no, they are down by two goals and all as a result of poor defending from the Napoli players. The goals by Miranchuk and Scamaca were not the best of goals, but that doesn't matter as long as they get their three points. I strongly doubt Napoli will be able to come back from this as Atalanta are the ones calling the shots, making the moves, silencing Osimhen to be point that the Nigerian is just running around the field, little chances that come his way, he bottles it.
 At the moment, if the game ends like this, it will set Atalanta at 6th place with 50 points while Napoli will remain at 7th with 45. Funny thing is even if they manage to turn the game around, they will still be at 7th, only difference is the points gap will reduce. The multi million dollar question now is can Napoli turn the scoreline around for their favor?

Inter are on top of the Seria A with a 14 point advantage, they have been excellent and when they win it this season, it will be their second league title in the last 4 seasons, which is great.

Also in terms of Selernitana situation on this season even grace cannot bring them out of the relegation zone because they have the worst performance on this league season and there points is too small that even if they win there matches they will not still be able to come out, so perhaps they seriously need to work on the team so that there next season will not be this way.

Napoli are under Atalanta with 2 points less but Atalanta have one postponed match so the difference can become 5 points if Atalanta win that match later. This direct match is a chance for Napoli to beat Atalanta and make sure that their difference with Atalanta will be only 2 points less with same played matches.

Napoli are hosting Atalanta this time around and they have the record of winning them in their last four meetings both home and away, for today's match i think that long unbeaten will continue because Atalanta are not in their best form now due to result of their last five matches they only won one match, draw two and lost two while Napoli are trying to rebuild their strength, so the clear thing here is that Napoli have the chances of winning this match.

It is almost impossible for a team that has earned 14 points in 29 matches to gain that many more points in just a few matches. I think they also accepted that they will play in Serie B next year. Unless there's a miracle, I don't think they'll have much of a chance

It is just too difficult for Napoli to qualify for the Champions League group stage from now on. Maybe there are still 9 more weeks. However the problem is that the point gap with the fourth position has gone up to nine points. Besides there are 3 teams ahead of them fighting for the same goal. This season is also a bad season for Intermilan. It's because the club underestimated Atletico Madrid, and I remember when Intermilan was favored to advance to the final because it had also achieved significant success last season with almost the same squad.

Competition in the relegation zone is very tight this season and Frosinone, who performed well at the start of the season, is slowly no longer able to maintain their good performance and is getting worse because other teams have succeeded in improving their performance.
Before there were Cagliari and Empoli who were in 19th and 18th positions and are currently occupied by different teams and my prediction is that because there are seven teams with points that are not much different than until the end of the season it will be possible to determine which two more teams will go down to Serie B because one team is certain to be Salernitana which is unlikely to survive the relegation zone.

When the seven teams who are still competing to get out of the relegation zone face each other, the match will really determine their fate, the team that wins will be likely to remain in Serie A, like next week's match where Sassuolo will play Salernitana by beating Salernitana, Sassuolo will have the opportunity to improve their position but if they lose or draw it will only benefit the other team.
