It actually appear like a bad decision when Roma sacked Jose Mourinho but if you look at it carefully, you will realise that the management's were looking at the results. Football is not based of past glories, it is business that present results is very vital for decision making. Just unfortunate that despite sacking Mourinho,  the situation did not change much. Now that it is looking like they might not scale through to the championship spot, they can just concentrate in getting a spot at the Europa. Their one zero win against Lazio is actually a good one.

It's very dangerous to be expecting Napoli to win this match. Napoli has lost form this season, despite winning the Seria A championship last season. They decided to sacked Luciano Spalletti before the half of the season. They believe they will do the same thing this season with the new coach, the new head coach may have a difficult time with the team this season because he was not in charge last season. I thought Napoli would be in a good form this season, after winning the tittle last season, but I was wrong, the history cannot repeat itself. They are struggling to win games. Napoli are currently in eighth place. No chance of finishing in the top four.

I think it's best to avoid this game, I don't think it's a good idea to take it as a draw either, their last meeting ended up in a draw at Napoli's home stadium, so I don't think the outcome of this second match will be the same. I believe one of the clubs will lose points at the end because Monza was not weak at this point and they hardly lose points at home.

Every club that decides to change coaches definitely has a strong reason, namely that the club is not developing well and does not meet the club's expectations. I'm sure Roma has strong reasons for deciding to remove Mourinho as coach of the Roma team. Mourinho was amazing when he was working for Porto or the other teams like Inter Milan but as you already said maybe his tactics are old and that's why they're not working anymore but Mourinho is still the same and he has not changed at all while that's the main problem he has.
After he left Roma, they changed and improved a lot with De Rossi and you saw them win the game against Lazio while it was not easy at all as when De Rossi was hoping to see the game finishing faster because the result could change in a moment.

Why we must ask this question? No one can answer this, it depends on many factors.
It is actually the same as another coach, no guarantee that a coach can always success in managing a team.
However, De Rossi has proven that he has something to improve AS Roma. He could bring a change on AS Roma performance. If we look at Serie A standings, AS Roma is on the top 5 already. It is something not easy to achieve in the era of Mourinho. Even, AS Roma may finish the season in the top 4 if De Rossi can lead them to always get full points in the remaining matches.

It is not the time to regret it. I think AS Roma management has made the right decision to fire him. AS Roma needs a new coach who has a modern approach in managing a team. If they continue with Mourinho, I'm not sure AS Roma will have a better future. Mourinho isn't a typical coach who can maintain the stability of a team.

Under Jose Mourinho this season, Roma weren't considered as one of the teams that'll finish the season in the top four but ever since the club sacked the Portuguese manager and appointed Daniele De Rossi as the new boss, the club have gone from being one of the laughing stocks of the season to become one of the top contenders of teams that are very likely to finish the season in the top four of the Italian Serie A table.
Playing against Lazio today, I predicted that it'll be a win for Roma and that they'll be more than two goals in that game but I wasn't totally correct with my prediction because Roma struggled to win the game and was able to win with just ine goal in the game. However, the win means that Roma have closed the points difference behind fourth placed Bologna to just two points pending the result of Bologna's game against Frosinone on Sunday. Roma I think still have a good chance of making it into the top four of the league table

The sacking of Jose Mourinho has certainly gone through careful calculations, Roma management will not play with risks when appointing De Rossi as a replacement head coach. Everything requires a process, which I think De Rossi has now taken Roma in a positive direction. It is very clear that Jose Mourinho is a more competent figure than De Rossi, but sometimes circumstances demand change, and the policy that has been taken by Roma management is considered the right one. Currently Roma is trying to reach the top four of the standings, and they also have the potential to advance to the semi-finals of the Europa League.

Even if Roma fails to achieve its targets this season, I don't think it's purely De Rossi's fault. It is possible that if Roma still retains Jose Mourinho until now, they could be knocked out of the top 10 of the Serie A standings, and eliminated early in the Europa League. Danielle de Rossi was a great player and a Roma and football legend that has 16 years career. He knows the club more anyone else, and understand tactics and management. Appointing a new coach is always a risky decision, regardless his managerial experience. I don't think De Rossi a bad appointment, even he is inexperience. There are many example of inexperience coach became successful straight away in his first club, currently Xabi Alonso.

Throwing question about De Rossi's capability sounds bizarre after what he has been doing impressively at the club. It's not impossible that De Rossi become a successful coach with Roma if he continues to lead the team. There is no guarantee that Roma can be better with experienced coach next season.

As Roma under Danielle De Rossi have made significant improvement since he replaced Mourinho, I think they were at six position on the table but now sit within just two points from the team occupying the last champions league spot which happens to be Bologna , Bologna on the other side have made tremendous improvement this season surprising everybody, but the question is can they hold on to the champions league spot till the season comes to an end?  I see Bologna qualifying for the Europa league next season not the champions league,  It's been a long time we saw Roma in the champions league, I just hope dey give the fans a European spot,  AC Milan winning Lecce at home didn't come to anyone as a surprise, but all the same AC Milan played a good match even scored a lot of goals kept a clean sheet, though they are way back behind inter Milan.

Maybe for some time, Roma has been quite successful, but it cannot be confirmed whether Roma will be able to continue to survive as they are now under De Rossi's command.  Mourinho is a competent coach, so he has many fans who really regrets the decision taken by Roma management to fire Mourinho

For Roma, this victory shows that they have developed for the better since De Rossi took over from Mourinho, on the other hand, Lazio are getting worse and their performance has dropped drastically if we compare it to last season. Lazio have also changed coaches, but they have not shown signs of revival like what happened with Roma.

Roma is now approaching the Champions League zone, where De Rossi is likely to succeed in bringing his fleet to finish in the top four of the standings at the end of the season. Well your good analysis is acceptable, however I'm leaning towards Napoli losing, Napoli for me are one of the most disappointing teams, I really don't know how they won last season, it's a shame that so far things have turned out the way they have, Napoli's performance has not been the best, they look like a 2nd division team, and it's a shame they have taken a place in this UCL from a team that has been much better than them, , I don't know, but I wouldn't bet on a draw in this one, I think they will beat a Napoli who don't look like they are going to get out of What they are doing.

I really can't believe Juve are having these problems, and Allegri can't lose their way now, things are very good, they are in the process of qualifying, they can't and shouldn't slack off, yes, Roma are very close, I think Allegri has to tighten up, or I know what's wrong with him and the team, maybe things are bad on both sides, I really always believed that Juve was going to stay in first place in Serie A, there are still games left, and they should not lose or draw, all the teams have to win, I do not understand how they have not been asmilated, it's incredible really, there comes a point that bothers.

De Rossi has gain good recognition in the Roma team, he have bring Roma back to the title team they used to be because they are now trying to brake through the top four and secure their Champions League slot because he actually shaped the team into a very competitive team that every team is now scared of facing them because of the massive improvement the team have under De Rossi.

Mourinho tried well for Roma, but his coaching style is outdated. He is a coach that is used to olden days style and he is too arrogant to change to the new system of football because he always feel that he is the best, but as he is deforming constantly, they sacked him and the team is now progressing.
I think Mourinho should just forget about coaching for now because I don’t think any serious team will hire home.

It could be a good choice if you look at the performance Napoli are showing right now even though their opponent is Monza but for a draw with Napoli current situation it could be reasonable . But in this case IMHO there needs to be other considerations where we know that even though Napoli current condition isnt very good but that is precisely what their performance becomes unpredictable in the end .
Monza is indeed one of the clubs that is quite good because it has always been in the middle of the table since they were in Serie A but lost last week to Torino and will lose Matteo Pessina in this match I think this will also have a little impact on Monza's performance so I think for this match I'm better off just watching without making any bets.

I totally agree. We know how bad Rome was at that time. It's really like they're going to get into middle club positions. But, after that, Roma was actually able to fight again better. And this time, his victory against Lazio added to a series of good match results in the last 5 matches. So, Roma still remains in 5th position. At least, they can qualify for the Europe UEFA League. With the current conditions, it's quite good because the points are getting further apart. Roma has actually been of good performance in recent times especially since after the change of their head coach although they are not in a very excellent form but they have been producing some good results that has been considered a good one and wining Lazio isn't a bad game at all and i wouldn't want to say it was an easy game either even tho the margin was really small such that it looked like luck.

I know Lazio isn't a weak team or one that can be considered an easy win but then Roma had the home advantage a d were actually lucky because Lazio had a better performance today but Roma was better at using the opportunity they had to victory, after their only goal in the match, they began to become defensive and allowed Lazio do most of the playing because they know if any opportunity is given them, they will be able to score a goal and are definitely Roma .at not be able to secure victory at this point in time anymore but then Roma were able to secure three points and that's most important.

I'm optimistic about Juventus in the fact that they will want to make sure they are able to secure a good position on the table as this place wherein theya re now isn't really better enough and so a win against fiorentina is something they would most definitely want to achieve and fiorentina recently haven't been really consistent and have not been able to get the kind of form that will give them consistency and so predictions in this game can actually be difficult.

Even if Lecce didn't have a red card AC Milan could have still won them because we know the current form of Milan now is very inspiring as compared to when they were not too stable some time this season but now they have picked good form and they are in a comfortable position in the table now, this winning against Lecce increased their points to 68 now and about nine points above the third position in the table Juventus which will make it difficult for Juventus to catch up with them so their second position in the table may be secured.

If you look at Roma progress after being coached by Daniele De Rossi, they were able to show quite good changes in the standings because until week 31 Roma still maintained their chances of breaking into the top 4 rankings. Today win also shows how consistent they have been in the second half of the season as they have a great chance of overtaking Bologna.

It is true that Mourinho performed well but his time is over and now Roma is able to show good development with De Rossi. The victory over Lazio was also very important because Roma was able to stick closely to Bologna who were in the top 4.
