Juventus is a big team in Serie A. They have quite good players this season, such as Chiesa and Vlahovic, so Allegri has a squad that is quite ready to be able to compete with Inter Milan. Juventus have only suffered one defeat this season and if you look at them overall this season, of course they appear quite impressive compared to last season.
Considering that Juventus Turin went through such a mess in 2006 already, I think the fear was intense that they could be facing similar charges again. That's why I think everyone dealt with it in a somewhat pleased way. They knew that they could continue in Serie A and don't have to wait several years until they can compete for the Scudetto and the qualification for the Champions League. In 2006 those were really rough times when they took the Serie A title away from Juventus and sent them into Serie B. In consideration of that punishment, this was almost a light version I think and they are on a good way to leave the issues behind.
