You are right, the draw that Inter Milan got when they faced Genoa in the previous 18th week, gave Juventus the opportunity to reduce the difference in points, now in the competition for the Scudetto this season the two clubs are only 2 points apart. Regarding Milan, I see that they are enjoying themselves in third place in the standings, not pressing Inter and Juventus seriously, and also not getting serious threats from other clubs below their position.

Napoli is like a club that has run out of gas in the race, there is no longer any talk of linking them to defending the Scudetto this season. In fact, their current position is very dire, although it's not too bad, in my opinion, Napoli doesn't deserve to be ranked 9th on the standings. I only regret about Juventus this season, because even though Juventus only play in the domestic league this season but ya, the reality is that Juventus are still having trouble to getting better result in Serie A. Because yes, Juventus should be able to dominate Serie A this season, but the reality is not as easy as expected. About Napoli this season I think it is clear, that Napoli are experiencing a bad trend this season. So ya, it looks like Napoli will only be in the middle of the Serie A standings and of course, it will be a bad result because Napoli this season have the status of defending champions.

These two teams are very close in points and a win for one will make the team to go ahead of the other. There is just one point between the two teams and it lead to the intensity of the match. From number 5 to number 9 on the Serie A table are not more than three points difference between each other, so the league is still wide open and any of them can still fight for the Europa League spot and possibly the top four positions if the teams currently there lose points. Most of the European leagues this season are getting more interesting and competitive unlike previous seasons where the league winner would have already been decided just after few matches after the half season. We await to also see the results of this teams at the end of the season.

Juventus is working very hard and in a convincing way, we can`t say the same for Milan, I see them limping and not convincing either in their play or in their results. Napoli, well, for me they don`t even reach the cups this year, i mean cup`s zone (cause points).

First of all, Milan is currently doing better. So I think they will have a better mentality going into this match. And the other thing is, they are going to play in home conditions. So in my opinion they should be the winner of this match. And if we look at Roma we will see that they are not as consistent as Milan right now. And them playing in away conditions, that is also going to be a big problem. I don't think it is going to end in a draw. Unless Roma goes for a draw from the start to the finish. One thing that is pretty interesting is that Milan has conceded a lot of goals in this season so far. So even if they win this, this will probably not be a clean sheet for them.

Romelu Lukaku has exceeded my expectations in Roma. But his performance in the game against Atlanta was not encouraging. He contributed little to the game and wasted an opportunity that would have made them get a second goal. Jose Mourinho has indeed used some of the few talents he has in the club effectively and efficiently. However, I doubt if the current team will be able to win any trophy with the recent performance. The January transfer is an opportunity for the club to buy new players that will keep the team in good shape to compete for trophies.    

Roma misused many of the chances they had and they have to take the one point in good faith. Sadly Coach Jose was shown a red card which means that he would not be on the stand to give the command in the important game against AC Milan.

They were quite lucky with it, and I think it is going to be a full season like that, Juventus trying to catch up, be close, or maybe if Juventus gets ahead, then Inter trying to catch up, these two clubs look like they will stay close to each other all season long. I believe that's what makes this season fun, last year wasn't that much fun, Napoli got ahead of everyone so quickly and stayed there that we knew they would be champions even after first half of the season ended.

So, we should reconsider this all, I think it may look a little different and I believe that they are going to do a lot better. I should hope that the result would be as good as they hope it would be and we could have fun watching these two teams fighting it off.

Roma is now regaining their form and did performed impressively in yesterday's game, they will only need to add some level of consistency to their performance if they want to continually get better and climb up the table again but then the draw yesterday was of no much impact on their position on the table.

Roma needed a win from that match and they did played like a team that was expecting to win at the end of the game but then it seemed like they were not just luck that day, Atlanta didn't make it an easy game for them but they did performed even better than Atlanta did all through the game from the first to the second half, Roma had a better possession of the ball than Atalanta did they even made much more attempts then Atlanta and all other stats were mostly in favour of Roma much more than it was in favor of Atalanta so it could be said Roma had a hard day.

Tomorrow, Milan must play in the Coppa Italia against Atalanta. This is a good match for AC Milan to prepare to face AS Roma in Serie A. Milan needs to win in both of these competitions. Even though the Coppa trophy is only a minor trophy, Milan has not won the Coppa Italia competition for quite a long time already. I think winning this match will help Milan have better prepared to compete against AS Roma. We know from the standings they are far below AC Milan's ranking. However, in this match, Roma was able to play aggressively to get even just a single points. So, Milan must be have a good preparation to maintain their position on standings.

In fact, AS Roma played at home and also had better statistics compared to Atalanta but unfortunately, AS Roma still failed to get full points in this home match. Moreover, conceding first at the beginning of the match I think is still a bad result for AS Roma even though the match ended in a draw with both teams getting 1 point. But yes, with the factors that AS Roma have in this match, I think AS Roma can still win but yes, the fact remains that it is not easy for AS Roma to win at home against Atalanta who at least have quality in the same level.

If you think Roma's game was better than Atalanta, I think that's wrong, Roma conceded first than Atlanta. And for Roma, they also had a good game in their last match and so they've got good players in their squad that can match the strength of Milan too. For the two teams, it'll only be fair that both sides share a point at the end but if one team wins, then it'll be an extra push for the team.

Napoli is currently in ninth place in the league table, so it is not even safe to say that they will be in the Europa League.

Many people were underestimating this guy but i do believe lukaku can play better under the right coach. There were many coaches were doubting him but roma can play even better after having him in the club. The main problem if lukaku has only 1 year contract remaining. This is also making the situation even worst for the roma caused by it may be missing one of best player. Lukaku may be back again to the chelsea but i have heard that if roma will be trying to make him as permanent player. I would to see him stay much longer in the club.
Roma needs to opentalk with chelsea to discuss lukaku's future. His price may be a bit expensive as chesea will not be willing to lose its money as well.

It's easy to say that other teams don't find them a threat after that game against Torino and I'd agree with you but at the same time, I'd say it's a bit early to conclude that. The league is still fresh and they can dust themselves back up to the Napoli we know. It would be difficult though but nothing is beyond achieving when you add the right amount of determination and consistency to it.
Honestly, I'm quite unimpressed by their performance and to think that their draw against Monza will give them the wake up call they needed to punish Torino, instead you find them losing to them and I will say the fault is from the coach as well as the players. Walter Mazzari did the best he could but the players seemed to play like children and I began wondering if this was how they meant to carry the title.
The club management will have to exercise patience with Mazzari as he hasn't fully adapted to the club. There are some coaches who at the start of their debut, begin bringing in good results but others are slow and I feel that's the case for Walter Mazzari.

I hope bookmakers will evaluate them according to actual results and not the status of the current champion. Maybe then there will be an opportunity to earn a little money by betting on Napoli because, after all, 9th place for them is clearly below average (to which I believe the team will return). Now they have 8 wins and 7 losses - this is a completely undeserved indicator. Even the three teams that are right behind Napoli have only 6 defeats. I don't believe that Napoli have become so bad and will not improve their results in the future.

Roma played better than Atalanta and they created big pressure and many opportunities on Atalanta. They have reasons to feel disappointed about themselves with this draw and only one point after the final whistle. Their players made inaccurate shots or sometimes they decided inappropriately between making a shot or a pass to their team mate, and results are wasting good opportunities.

This draw does not help Roma to improve their ranking and with some tough matches ahead, this draw actually is not good for Roma.
