In football, whenever it comes to top tournaments, there's no such thing like putting an elite team first, at that phase, a mediocre team and an elite team measures with the same energy level, if possible the average team takes the lead because they're more serious and no relenting energy. AS Roma underrated Cremonese, more reason they struggle for a winning. The penalty was worldclass taken by Paulo Dybala, he scored to make the differences of 2-1, Cremonese were a bit too late to reciprocate, that alone was not good enough to handle the tough matches but I guess this events can not be reversible.

It would be easier for Roma if goal bar and pillar did not refuse two shots from Pellegrini and El Sharawy. At the end, they won with two goals from Lukaku and Dybala but it's not an easy winning for them. They even faced with a loss if Lukaku did not find an equalizer for them in the 73th minute, it is already a late equalizer.

I guess Mourinho actually does not prioritize Coppa Italia too much but this match is an opening match in a new year, so he wants to win it with some cost.

As I mentioned in my previous post, Roma history with that team was not that successful and so far Roma won two and Cremonese won two matches among the four that they played against each other.
Roma were lucky to pass but in reality they missed many opportunities to score and they were able to win without needing to score the penalty..
Roma should improve their gameplay so they can advance further in all competitions.

I somehow saw it coming and I also thought that Lukaku might be the one who scores the first goal. I was pretty sure that if they were able to score the first one with some time left, they would still win the game and that is what they did. That's actually when I like to watch Roma games because if there is something to fight for (and not something to defend because they had to win), then Roma can play great stuff. That's why normally I prefer games when Roma concedes the first goal. If it is the other way around, the games usually become boring like hell.

Napoli are not dead yet but the current situation is really unfavorable for them.
At the moment Napoli's situation is getting more and more chaotic and Rudi Garcia's change to Mazzari also still has not made a big impact and in fact they are now getting worse with the performance that is happening.
Currently they are in 8th place after a series of unsatisfactory results in the last 5 matches, they only managed to win 1 win and 1 draw, the rest are defeats for them and I think this must really have a real overhaul in terms of the strategies and schemes they do in the match.

Well Milan is a big team and they showed their class yesterday despite their poor form currently.

Their struggle in the Serie A isn't encouraging and it won't be surprising that they'd finish up the season in a spot that isn't so encouraging. They have weeks ahead, now they're out of the Copa Italia contest and so they've got just one job to do, stay in shape and out of relegation. No one knows how well they'd be able to keep up with the aim for the rest of the season. There still will be tough opponents which they don't really stand a chance over, maybe they'd try harder to subdue less threatening teams.
