It wasn't obvious to see Juventus conceding a goal, worst is to see them receiving an early goal without responding...
That defeat along with Inter Milan victory against Roma made Inter very comfortable in the league with 7 points advantage, without counting the fact that they still have one more game to play, so the difference can increase to 10 points difference making the mission harder for the others to catch them.
In the other hand, AC Milan are now just 1 point behind them so more pressure for Juventus.
So if I were Udinese's coach, maybe that's all he could think about and as long as the goal is safe from conceding then it's okay if he has to maintain that lead. Moreover, Udinese needs these 3 points to keep them from the relegation zone considering that in the previous 4 matches they have not won at all. Udinese is quite good but Juventus is very bad because they didn't manage to do anything in that amount of time. The one point difference will be put to good use by Milan next week and if Juventus still fails then they will not be able to catch Inter again.
