Yes we know most teams chose to focus more on the League Title, safe spot and UCL and that’s one situation that Napoli has found herself, In a bid to get a UCL Spot they used a second team for their coppa Italia but unluckily were trashed 0-4, that's a very big mistake they've made and they paid dearly for it by being kicked out of the Coppa Italia

A big home lost for them and this is one that’s not needed at this point but I feel it should be a boost for them to get back in their feet quickly and safely, now they'll have to focus on two tournaments which is the UCL and the Serie A league, winning both tournaments would be a tough one for them, however finishing top four in the Serie A tournament is very necessary and that should be their aim currently, cause I doubt if they'll be able to defend the Scudetto.

If Bologna managed to beat Roma last week , I'm sure they will find a way to at least score once against Inter and maybe with a bit of luck they can actually win the game. I also feel Inter not in a great mood lately and they were never a great team before winter break so this can be another factor that might make Bologna a joker team here + is the Italy Cup.

I think Walter gamble it to see if other players can do better just so that they don't have to depend on main squad that usually start to the match for Napoli bit they failed and when substitutions happened, it wasn't effective as he expected. Throughout the game, it was only Napoli that substituted in that match and even when they did, Frosinone 2 goals when Osimhen was in. Such a Ln embarrassment to Napoli because they couldn't use their chances to goals while Frosinone was able to give into every chance with goal.

Honestly, I didn't blame Walter, Napoli has not been stable in Seria A league, a team that went from top 1 last season is struggling to enter top 4 and not only that, the points they have gather this season is to low, imagine 14 points away from the top of the first place in the league table says a lot, they have lost more than 5 games to be where they are today, they need to do more if they want to come to Champions League next season.

In week 17 it looks like Inter Milan will win again, because this week they will host Lecce who are in 12th position. Lecce is indeed very difficult to beat, but they have difficulty winning, they draw more often with 8 draws from the 16 matches they play, while they both feel 4 wins and losses.

Starting without a preseason to create the team or adjust to his style was always going to be difficult for Mazzarri. It seems management should be accountable. It's apparent that their important alteration is influencing the team's play.

However, Napoli's problems appear to go beyond the coaching change. The sale of their top defender without a strong successor proved disastrous. It seems they misjudged the difficulty of defending a title, which is often harder than winning it. This main problem why Napoli have dropped outside from top fourth standings position and still inconsistency performance, Napoli not quit well with transfer activities, when loss their key player not try to find with the same level and Napoli want to make efficiency with transfer fees without need to spent much money.

Rudi Garcia have leaves his position in short term will the same face by Walter Mazzari become the next sack manager after inconsistency his performance with Napoli?

I think a team will always want to win, even if they are competing in a competition that is not their main target. But the problem is that they lost to a weak team, even though when comparing strengths, they have better strengths than the team that beat them in this match.

What you say doesn't make sense, it's impossible for a team to deliberately lose a match, let alone a big loss against a weak team in front of its own supporters, which is quite embarrassing.

fzkto, It is literally out of the question and absurd what you are saying. Italian people are crazy about football and no club in the world would willingly lose a match just to reduce the pressure. Napoli doesn't have much going for them in the Serie A this season and I think they would consider it a win if they get to play Champions League next season. They got paired up against Barcelona which I think would be a 50-50 between them. Even if they win they got some strong teams coming up. Thinking logically, the only tournament they can win is the Italian cup. So what you just said is impossible.

The draw back of Napoli currently, I think it's just a temporary one and they will definitely get over it especially if they don't suffer injuries again or been limited by internal crisis around the team. They were the winners last season, they recently changed their coach so I think it's a little set back they will be going through for awhile.

After awhile when they must have totally gotten used to their new Coach I'm sure they will be doing much better but I doubt if they will be able to defend their title this season because their performance isn't as good as it was last season. Juventus and inter Milan are definitely the most liable to win the title this season, especially inter Milan who has performed really well this season and Juventus aswell has been been at their best too and have been at the top a few times this season, it's mostly between Juventus and inter Milan to win the trophy this season.
