Roma had the advantage on the pitch as a better side, but they lacked effective strategies. Their defense isn't strong enough to secure wins and I don't know why. The start of the season has been challenging for them. The results are embarrassing and shocking. Roma is currently just 2 points ahead of the Serie A relegation zone. It might be the right moment to express gratitude to Mourinho and wish him luck in his future endeavors at a new club.

In the previous two matches, Roma performed quite well when they defeated Empoli with a score of 7-0, but two matches later, in today's match, they seemed to be a fairly weak team because Genoa managed to beat Roma with a score of 4-1. I think Roma inconsistency in this match was due to their defense being quite poor so the opposing team easily played games in front of their goal. Indeed, Roma did not invest heavily in their squad in the transfer window, that was their mistake.

I do really appreciate genoa from thrasing roma in this match. Many people are seeing this as a new record from roma. Having big possession but no attack. Genoa is superior compared with roma.

In today's match that Fiorentina played against Frosinone, I expected Fiorentina to win the match, but seriously, they later ended up sharing points, which I think is not so bad. I see that Fiorentina created many good chances, but they were not just lucky to converted those chances to goals. Frosinone is a promoted team, which was the promoted team I underrated before the season started that they would perform poorly, but currently I see their performances as the best out of the promoted teams. They are really trying their best because they are currently in good positions in the table despite not in the top four.


I was not that shocked that Genoa defeated Roma because I have not been satisfied much with Roma performances despite their victory over some teams. I do watch Roma matches, and I see how they always perform on the pitch, and that makes me not believe in them much. Roma last match against Empoli was won with seven goals, which made some people think that Roma is really back in form, but for me, I see that as a lucky game of the season for them because even in that match, I don't see what they played special that they deserved that winning, but what happened today will make many understand that Roma have not really picked up form because if yes, even Genoa won the game, it will not be with many goals.

Roma has been inconsistent since the start of the season and I think it's high time the manager Jose Mourinho finds the best playing pattern that'll help bring out the best from his team. Without trying to take anything away from Genoa, I don't think Roma should be struggling against a club like Genoa.
Getting just five points from the first 6 league games of the season is absolutely a poor result for a club like Roma. They're currently in the 16th position in the league table and if they don't improve in their performance, they might not be able to make it to the top half of the table at the end if the season.

Roma performance this season is really quite bad, in fact they were beaten by a big score in this match. An interesting thing in this match was that Roma defense line was really quite bad because when there was a counterattack they were unable to break it and that was what enabled Genoa to score 4 goals in this match. Lukaku was not in his best form in this match because he was only able to make 1 shot in this match. In the 6 matches they have played, Roma only recorded 1 win which makes Roma an inconsistent team this season.

I think Roma is increasingly falling behind the top 4 teams and their mission to achieve 1 UCL ticket seems to be quite difficult for them to do. They are above 2 teams in the relegation zone. So Roma this season might just be trying to stay away from the relegation zone if they look at the bad results they have experienced this season. Dybala and Lukaku have not been able to contribute much to Roma this season, they have not been able to take advantage of opportunities to score goals when they have the chance.

Osimhen 's last performance in Napoli match was great, as he scored despite all this hullabaloo surrounding him and his club.
I think he has proven himself to be a very good striker and before considering making a move to the Arab leagues, unless, it is money that is his concern, he should try out the premier league. Or Spanish league where he would get to prove himself better.

He is too young to retire to the Arab leagues, but if for me, I would. I rather play beautiful-not-as-serious-football than play in a very serious league and either sit on the bench or get to suffer injuries that might cut my career short.
