Although Como had the better odds of winning their game today against Lecce, I didn't think that the visitors would make it so easy for them. It was evident that Cesc Fabregas' men were hungry for the three points to enable them move further up the table right from when the whistle was blown for the start of the game and although Lecce tried to cancel Como's clean sheet, they could only manage one attempt on goal and it did not result in a goal.
This season is really competitive so that even those who have the looks of going to relegation at the end of the season are trying to battle their way back out of the danger zone. Good work to Como and I feel they would survive this season seeing as they are ranked 16th on the table and won't want to lose more of their games.

Every team are trying as much as they can to get any 3pt without minding how they get it and talking about Fabregas team Como, they are doing well this season and I feel these guys need to work on their finishing techniques, also they have to maintain that energy of fighting hard to win games, the midfield is a bit better when it comes to any opponent that have the same strength with them. Lecce on the other hands are not doing well and if they don't upgrade the way they perform in every game to avoid the relegation zone. I just hope after losing this game that Lecce can do better than what we saw tonight.
I agree with you on your  opinion of Como doing better in their finishing techniques because that game would have produced more goals had they been able to bury most of their chances. Even Nico Paz had a spot kick chance but couldn't convert it because the keeper was smart enough to save it.
To be frank, they are even doing better than the other promoted teams in my opinion and if they can work on effectively utilizing their chances, I don't think they'd have to worry about relegation.

I don't know why AC Milan decided to relieve Paulo Fonseca of his duty because the team is still in a very fair form when we take a look at the structure of the team, it's not bad at all. Let see if the new coach they will hire can turn things around for the team.

From the news I read, Fosenca failed in performance and controlled the players according to the management. There have even been disputes with several players, including Milan captain Theo Hernandez. Saying well I think no, Milan are still at number 8 in the hierarchy and it is still difficult to ensure a direct qualification to the last 16 or through the playoffs. After the draw against Roma the management announced his dismissal, although it did not coordinate with Zlatan as an advisor to the club. I was also surprised by this dismissal, because there were no rumors circulating.
But I think AC Milan's decision is quite wise. Because this team has also given enough time in this half season to Fonseca. So this isn't a bad move. Moreover, in the middle of the season AC Milan can also improve their squad again with a new coach by buying new players if the new coach wants them and if AC Milan is ready with the finances.

At least Fonseca has brought pretty good results at UCL. It's just that in Serie A maybe he won't be successful with this team. So yeah, he didn't leave too bad a mark on this team. So his departure must still be respected by everyone at the club.
I think, at this time the sacking of fonsesca indirectly began to make them regret after the sacking of pioli at the end of last season, indeed last season pioli was unable to bring milan to win the scudetto like the previous season but in my opinion sacking him was a big mistake made by milan, because all this time pioli managed to bring milan to remain consistent as a top team but instead he was replaced by fonsesca who was no better than him in his career and coaching ability, I don't know what's happening to milan at the moment but certainly it looks like they will still be difficult to rise this season despite having recruited a new coach, currently Sergio Conceicao will be a replacement for paulo fonsesca and let's see how good he is in coaching milan later?

It feels to me Conceicao is gonna be another flop. he's talking to much without even proven it first. He can talk as much as he can after he prove it first.

This is is the same with Amorim's situation in Manchester United. He talked to much and deliver nothing.

No disrespect to the portuguese league, but Serie a multiple times better than it. His stats in portuguese leagues means nothing, and i don't have good feeling about his career at Ac Milan.

I equally said the same thing when Amorin was appointed to manage Manchester United. He was busy spitting on the media with irrelevant statement instead of focusing on the task ahead of him. Conceicao is doing the same now as if he has a magic to perform beyond expectation. Truth be told, it's a proven fact that those that talk too much always have less to offer.

Even though it looks difficult, at least Napoli managed to get full points in this match and now they have collected the same points as Atalanta who previously only got a draw, but Atalanta still sits at the top of the standings because they have scored more goals than Napoli, but at least Napoli still has hope to return to the top of the standings if Atalanta makes another mistake.

That's the point of argument. Napoli will not be hoping for Atalanta to make mistake if they were winning their own matches from the beginning. I know mistakes lead to one team taking over the chance but they shouldn't capitalise on that while making mistakes losing important points. You're talking about Napoli taking over from Atalanta but you forgot that Inter will make Napoli to drop off after winning their next match.

In 2 days we will go the italian supercup.

4 teams are in it.

Inter vs Atalanta
Juventus vs Milan are the 2 semifinals.

The game will be hosted in Saudi.
A very interesting match, 4 Italian monster teams, Inter vs. Atlanta and Juventus vs. Milan, each won tickets to the final in the Italian Super Cup. In the match between Inter vs. Atlanta, I prefer Atlanta with their best performance in the league, of course they have a greater chance of winning this match.
In the second match Juventus vs Milan, both of them also have balance in the game so it is very difficult for both of them to lose, the point is they will work hard and Juventus tends to win or end with a draw which is certain that the match between the two will be very interesting playing more aggressively than in the Italian League Especially playing in Saudi.

I don't think this AC Milan management decision is right because Fonseca also needs time to develop this team even though it is not as fast as desired but Fonseca has tried to make the Milan team develop but it's just that their problem is not being able to maintain consistency.

Now everything is so difficult for AC Milan with their new coach, whoever is appointed later I think it will not be easy to make Milan better especially now that the competition in Serie A is so fierce and they are already very far behind.
Milan's owner has set high target to Fonseca that they want Fonseca can be able to bring Milan to compete with Inter Milan for the scudetto and Milan's owners have given Fonseca plenty of time to build a solid team that about 6 months but in fact Fonseca failed to meet their expectations so this caused Fonseca must be sacked but changing manager is not the best solution and more likely it will be risky and we can see the performance of Roma for example that after changing their manager Roma is unstable and for Milan too although Sergio Conceicao is an experienced manager but i am not sure Milan will be much better under him

Conceicao after his appointment as Fonseca's successor, Said that milan will be a winning team.

I don't know that he means winning a few games or if he has bigger dreams Smiley Grin

he said : "i and my team have a lot of work to do to succeed"

It remains to be seen whether he will be able to improve the situation or not  given the relatively short time and the distance they have from the top of the table?

Of course that somebodies believe to him and say that he is the best choice for this big job

This is were some of the problem most coaches normally have originated from, how can Conceicao just join a club and start making promises he may not fulfill and at the same time given the club false belief, actually what I expected him to say is that he will give AC Milan his best in other to make them more better instead of promising them a wining team, however I want to ask, what does he mean by a wining team? Is by wining the trophy or just wining there matches because what he said can be interpreted in different ways, meanwhile some persons are saying that his abilities in improving AC Milan is questionable but if he could bring the wining he promised then is good for AC Milan.

Venezia had made it difficult for Napoli to break through their goal even though they were quite dominant in controlling the match, Antonio Conte troops had to fight towards the end of the match to find the winning goal. The three points obtained in this game are very important for Napoli to maintain their chances in the hunt for the championship title because Atalanta, who are at the top of the standings, were only able to get a draw when playing away at Lazio's headquarters.
On paper, Napoli should have won easily, but Venezia performed beyond expectations in this match.
What you said is true because before the Napoli vs Venezia match started I thought that Napoli would win a lot at home when hosting Venezia. But what happened was beyond expectations because Napoli was only able to break through Venezia's goal in the second half or more precisely in the 79th minute by Raspadori. However, the victory by one goal was also very meaningful for Napoli because Napoli's target itself was to win in order to have the same points as Atalanta.

Milan drew 1-1 with Roma at home.We knew that both teams needed 3 points but there was no winner in this match. Both teams had plenty of chances in the match but no more than 2 goals were scored.
Juventus, on the other hand, drew with Fiorentina at home.We watched a match with a high level of viewing pleasure. The first half of the match ended 1-1 and although Thuram put his team 2-1 ahead at the beginning of the second half, Fiorentina managed to get a point from this away game thanks to Sottil's beautiful goal.Fiorentina equalized the points with Juventus despite having one game less.It is really incredible that Juventus has not yet been defeated in 18 games.I wonder who will stop them in the league.

Juventus and Ac Milan this season will find it difficult to qualify for the Champions League next season because many teams are doing better than them this season, in the match Between Ac Milan and Roma I thought that AC Milan would win the match since Roma is not that good this season but Ac Milan find it difficult to defeat Roma, Ac Milan is not a good team this season and I think it because of Real Madrid injury crisis that make them defeat Real Madrid in Champion League if not they will not defeat Real Madrid.

Juventus also find it difficult to defeat Fiorentina, that doesn't surprise me because Fiorentina is a very strong opponent this season and they know how to play as a team to equalize against any opponents, Fiorentina's defensive players and the goalkeeper are strong and I expect the game to end draw and even if Juventus win the match it will be a lucky game for Juventus, and from the match, we can see that DE Gea is the man of the match, Erik Ten Hag made Manchester United lost the goalkeeper.

Lazio is a strong team, they are always a threat to the top teams, so the draw achieved by Atalanta when facing Lazio is a common thing, because previously Lazio was a team that was able to defeat top teams as happened to Napoli before.

The draw achieved by Atalanta, made the competition at the top of the standings very tight, because the difference in points between Atalanta, Napoli and Inter Milan is very thin, even for Atalanta and Inter Milan collecting the same points. And here the most profitable is Inter Milan, because they have one more match than Atalanta and Napoli, so if Inter Milan can maintain their consistency until the end of the season, it is not impossible for Inter Milan to lean on the top of the standings. I like this because we see the competition in Serie A for the season becoming tighter and more competitive.
It will only be difficult team and not team that will fight for the title, it is still not possible for Lazio to win the Scudetto because of the tight competition in the upper standings and if Lazio continues to perform well, maybe they will get the runner-up or top 3 ranking.
As time goes by, I actually focus on Napoli and Inter Milan, Napoli has really solid defense in my opinion and they can get more points from each match in the future.

I watched both of those games last night and the one that amused me the most was Juventus - Fiorentina honestly.  Roll Eyes  I was expecting a win for Juventus by a small margin but I really admired Fiorentina's not dropping from the game until the end. I can say Juventus were more dominant in the second half but they once again got a draw. Unbelievable... They are the weirdest team in the league now with 11 draws in 18 games while being unbeaten at the same time.  Cheesy

By the way I really loved De Gea's effort here. He made some critical saves which played a big role in that point they got. It is nice to see him back in professional football. I would recommend Manchester United to see what they are missing.

Lastly Milan has sacked Fonseca after the 1-1 draw against Roma. Sérgio Conceição is about to arrive in. Another Portuguese manager choice but a more successful one. Let's see what happens.

Juventus drawing most of their matches doesn't seem like a problem to me, so far as they haven't lost any game since the season kicked off. It is better if a team is playing more draws than for them to lose because playing draw gives a team more confidence in their ability of not letting a defeat and also gives them a winning mentality because since they didn't allow any team to defeat them, they will like to continue in that spirit such that any game they are finding difficult to win, instead of them to lose they will strive to get a draw. Though Juventus could have claimed 3 points from Fiorentina but they were very reluctant when they were winning 2:1 which gave Fiorentina edge to equalize the goal at the ending minutes. David De Gea has been performing well as Fiorentina's goalkeeper ever since he signed a one-year deal with the team but with his current performance, Fiorentina can consider extending the contract of the Spanish International Goalkeeper.
It is not a problem if a draw is much better than a defeat, but it could be bad for Juventus' standings if they continue to draw and rarely get a win, Juventus' game is better but unfortunately their defense is not so competitive which creates goals against opponents that are detrimental to Juventus, there must be an evaluation in my opinion even though we are only observers, all decisions are in the hands of Thiago Motta to do something for Juventus in the future.

It's a shame that Milan couldn't get 3 points in this match. In fact, if for example Milan were able to get the full 3 points in this match, of course this would have a slight impact on its position in the Serie A standings. However, it turns out that Fonseca's men were only able to score 1 goal in that match. In fact, as we know, Milan players created a lot of opportunities. However, it turns out that the Milan players have not been able to take full advantage of this. Because it cannot be denied that Roma's defense line could be said to be quite good in this match. Because it was proven that the Milan players really had difficulty developing their game well in this match. So with this result Milan is still in 8th position at the moment.

Then talk about Juventus' match against Fiorentina. Actually, in this match Juventus almost won the match. Because in this match Juventus really dominated the match quite well and were able to score first. But for some reason, Juventus this season can't maintain their winning streak well. Because in the final minutes Juventus always conceded a goal and in the end Juventus had to fail to win this match. For this reason, in other matches, Juventus often fails to win because of this. Apart from that, although it is true that until this week Juventus had never been defeated in Serie A. But if you just continue to stay in 6th position, I don't think it's a good thing.

Juventus is the only team that has never lost in this season. But they are in 6th position right now. I think they have only 1 win in the last 6 matches. All the other matches are draws. I have never seen such a ball-less performance. Like, go for the win at this point even if you are risking losing. I don't think they are going to achieve anything if they keep performing like this. I know a lot of people are not going to agree with me. But that's alright. Some people like to see beautiful football regardless of the result. But I want to see a competitive season and a good competition from a good team. And I think Juventus to be a good team. Watching them 9 points away from the first position actually makes me sad. They also have some hard matches coming up. So I don't even think they will be able to keep the lossless streak that they have right now.

In some sense I think they have built a negative record here. If a team was ever unbeaten after 18 games, but only won 7 games, I suppose there has never been a team that was unbeaten with 11 draws. It's crazy and this is not the way how they can win the Scudetto. Remaining unbeaten as you can see here doesn't help very much if the games aren't won ultimately.

If Inter Milan wins the game they have in reserve, Inter would be ahead of Juventus Turin by 11 points and this is despite the fact that Juventus Turin has never lost a game. Think about the end of the season, Juventus remains unbeaten and finishes 6th. That would be an unprecedented result I imagine. But the season is still very long and they can improve a couple of things to turn those draws into 3-pointers.
