There is another good article on how it is unlikely the exchanges have as many bitcoins as they claim: http://www.coindesk.com/many-bitcoins-making-sense-exaggerated-inventory-claims/

As long as exchanges can "print" fiat by simply crediting their internal trading accounts with bitcoins to sell I don't see how we get a big price breakout.  Though I guess they could also pull a reverse and start crediting their accounts with fiat to buy bitcoins....

Good Luck!

IF YOU Enjoy Trade with ME ..PUT Feedback Please
Just a little illusion because now price is at 375$, I'm sad about this  Angry Angry Angry. Anyway, someone has bought a great quantity of bitcoin (I think that this happened for the increasing of price) and now situation is "normal". Hope that something will happen to increase the price up to 500-600$ (I don't ask so much  Grin)
Wait for 2015 BTC will hit this and go further ...Just keep holding

You're right fellas, seems to be struggling with us hanging around the $380 for a while.

I expect there will be some significant movement soon - which way, I don't know  Tongue

And why exactly do you expect it?

Apart from the longshot 1week ema cross that would result in attempt to break 480$ (which is unlikely), and catching the momentum from that (which is even more unlikely).

Last time 1w macD went green and ema's crossed it was nothing but a failed rally into more dumps. I seriosly dont expect pretty much anything for next 3 months or so.

Appreciate your TA, gotta be honest, I'm not good at chart analysis. All I know is that we've been pretty much sideways for over a month.

You could be right, but like you said, last time your indicators showed a breach, it was quickly brought back down. I just think were really cheap at the moment and I'm personally loving it  Wink

Just being cautious, as I don't think it'll take much to inflate price (50,000-100,000BTC) "pump" on a major exchange is not a lot, is it?

That's only $18-25Mil : $36:50Mil cash injection, nice chunk of change for us Average Joe's, but not that much for some investors/companies.

It's just my opinion bro, but I think the BTC market-space is very small at the moment, and we are all hedging for a significant injection of Fiat in near future. The fact BTC has liquid value is amazing!

Eg. I rather have 500BTC @ $400 = $200,000 then 200BTC @ $800 = $160,000

Being a bitcoin moon dawg, thought I'd bump (premature once again?)  Grin

So we were at $358 a couple Hrs ago now $380, at least there's been some movement today.

Smashing $400 tonight might be a tall order? Or quite likely (lol)

I doubt we will get anywhere near $400 tonight looking at the massive sell walls stopping it.
$400 would only represent a roughly 9% increase from current prices and a 9% jump in one day (or a few hours) is not unheard of regardless of any "walls" on either side.

Also do you remember the 30k+ BTC sell wall a few weeks ago? Once it was eaten up the price jumped higher

Here I Am !!
wow.. the price is shooting up, but I think this won't be a pump that could reach ATH. we will need a lot of fresh money for this. This can pump bitcoin maybe 20 or 30% max. Even very good news (paypal) couldn't pump bitcoin for more than 10-15%.

ps. from the other post, yes LBC, been at it for 1 1/2 years, atm I'm priced around 13% above Stamp.

How does the "bank transfer" method of selling work at LBC? Does a buyer send his money directly to your bank account, or does he send it to LBC to be held in escrow?

Peer to Peer, directly to your bank account, LBC act as the escrow until both parties confirm sending/receiving  of funds.

Up 4 dollars. That, my friends, is a happening

Hope springs eternal.  I'm glad it didn't drop all the way back to the low 300s.  If it breaks 400 again this week I'll be happy.
It appears that bitcoin is somewhat stuck in a range of between the low 300's and the upper 400's. It can't seem to break either price level on the downsize and upside respectively.

(Barring early November $453 of course) but totally true observation for rest of month thus far. It seems to be increasing albeit at a slow rate. $380 appears to be the resistance point for now.
