If you bought the 9 ETH at $700 you already made a profit you can sell it right now and get a $30k profit.
Or do you plan to play your holdings on trading?

You can trade but the only effective way to make a profit right now in trading is making short trading.

Agreed. With the way things are now you're better off starting by taking profits on your current portfolio. Then get started on some reading, you got some catch up to do as the crypto market expanded aggressively for the past few months.

Once you gain some confidence you can for sure start trading a bit but as always make sure your doing some analysis before hand as now it is dangerous to buy in any alt coin. Some may say we're already in a bear season but some can say that we're not there yet.

Either way you need to get a feel of the market and do some analysis before throwing in your money. Good luck!

If you believe in something then you can ride out the uncertain times, my advice would be invest what you can afford, and if you intend on cashing out into fiat currencies at some point, then set a threshold where you will cash out, and don't go belong it. Treat it as gambling. For example, invest $1000, wait until Bitcoin hits 100k to withdraw. You would have effectively doubled your money. Well, a little bit more.

If you bought it for $ 700 and it costs $ 3300 now - then I don't understand at all what problems are we talking about? This is a great investment that anyone would find even in a falling market now. So discard your Ethetium and later buy it again while it goes down. To get involved in short trading, provided that I have not been in the subject for a long time, I would not until you study the situation, because they have changed greatly over these 2-3 years. Good investment anyway!

Slightly tells me that I know bitcoin from this forum around June 2017,
But I haven't kept up with the crypto world for a long time due to my busy business and boredom with the price of BTC in 2019.
So I almost forgot all my assets until there was one. the thing I think is my stupidity, I omitted my Trezor which still contained around 9 ETH at the time I bought ETH around $ 700 in mid 2018, and ETH keeps dropping so I ignore it.
Long story short I want to start from scratch I want to ask the seniors who are here.
I want to start trading again. Could you please give me some advice so that I don't go through things like a few years ago.
You are the only ones who could find the answer for yourself because even other people on this market had the same problem as yours and its true that theres no such thing
about being late when you do deal with crypto because the potential is limitless when it comes to price increase but of course we should think about the risk which do
always accompanied by it. Regrets are there since you arent the only ones missing out those golden opportunities to make some serious profits.
Always consider that risk management thing so that we can able to avoid those mistakes that we do had committed in the past.

When we're in a bear market, it's very effective to stay from the market if it's only giving you anxiety, pressure and disappointment. And that's what I can see with OPs experience, I did the same and sold some from my past holdings and I'm happy with that although I didn't maximized it to the peak of selling price but still I've made profit.

OP, you practice trading with an amount that you're very much fine to lose for you to attain some experience and with that, you'll learn the basics of it but first, access to your wallet with the use of your recovery phrase/seed. You don't need someone to do that for you and don't give those words to anyone.

It is unfortunate when you have assets in your trezor wallet and you lose them. it is a very valuable asset. Even if the price goes down that time at least you keep it in a safe and easy to remember place.

all you have to do now to start over is prepare capital to trade if you really want to trade or take part in some airdrops and some new whitelist projects to become investors. all you can do. and most importantly do not ignore any assets you have. assets that you ignore until they disappear even become very valuable and very expensive assets for now.

I'm sorry that this happened to you, and I hope there's a chance to recover the funds because there's your passphrase there somewhere. I also want to join others by saying that it seems that your problem wasn't a mistake in choosing a crypto for investment, but not being attentive enough about where you're storing your coins. ETH was a good choice, so perhaps you can spot an attractive coin successfully once again. IMO, a very promising coin to look into is Polkadot, and now that BTC price is down, it's also worth looking into. Make sure you store your passphrase in multiple locations so that you don't lose funds again. Good luck!

As stated by Bitmaxz you could try to recover your wallet by the recovery seed or passphrase that you wrote down when you set it up,
But it seems that you don't care about it right now and wanted to start from the scratch as you've stated,
So my advice would be don't fall for the hype and value everything that you have you never know how much profit they could give you in the future.

P.S I really like the title and it is true it is never too late to start so for those who are thinking that they missed the chance to start their crypto journey because it is too expensive now,
They might want to rethink it and know that they could start whenever they want and they doesn't need to own a whole Bitcoin because they could invest in small amount called Sats.

But his trezor is no longer there, he cannot sell his Ethereum now or in the future as long as the missing trezor has not been found.

If it still has the recovery seed backup, he can recover it to his new Trezor but if he doesn't have it anymore then it's totally gone.

The 9 ETH is really a huge amount at the current price and I hope that he still has the recovery seed that's the only way to recover his old Trezor wallet.

You've done well before, it's just that this time don't ever throw away your wallet again.
You may think your assets are destroyed and you don't care about it anymore so you forget about it, but don't let you throw away the Trezor you have so that the same mistakes don't happen again.
