Better we are late than we regret it for life, for never owning bitcoin. If we say it's too late because the price of bitcoin has gone too high, I'm saying that's a big mistake.
If we follow developments from the beginning then we will know, such narratives are stale. When bitcoin reaches ATH many say it's too late. Conversely, if bitcoin experiences a correction and it becomes an opportunity to buy it, many people are even indifferent and consider it the beginning of its destruction. Ups and downs in the market are normal, depending on your analysis.
That is right from you, because no time you buy Bitcoin is time wasted or too late, even though Bitcoin price goes up and clamps to $100 today is not late usual, when you start to buy your own Bitcoin is when your journey into bitcoin started, see Bitcoin and altcoins don't have the same value, the values of bitcoin is higher than altcoins because bitcoin don't have control of going up and down but altcoins will go down with out standing again

Late is better than never. If you had started the bitcoin business in the past and there was an interval due to your busy life in business. Now you can join it frequently. The ETH , whatever in your wallet has good increment n& profit in your absence. This is the grace of this business that has earned in your absence also.
Now it is better for you to study this business for success. A lot of websites are there to guide you and videos, presentations also on youtube that will help in all aspects of this business. So trade with good courage and daring.

Ok, guys.... OP has posted this many months ago and he has not even responded to any of the answers and advice that was provided in his thread. I reckon he sold his 9 Ethereum coins at a profit for $30k and he quit Crypto currencies.

So there is no need for people to post anything new in this thread, because he simply abandoned the thread after he probably sold his coins.
Can one of the moderators please close this thread, because it served it's purpose.  Wink

It becomes too late when you refuse to accept the future which is crypto. Now, that you have realized how beneficial it will be to get involved with crypto. I would want you to start with investing in top altcoins first before diving into trading. Trading requires more proficiency than you think.
This time around make sure to write down your private keys because that owes your assets. Crypto shouldn't be taken for granted as you did before. Keep yourself informed of the happenings in the cryptosphere.

Starting from scratch is it by trading? That's a big mistake if you now think crypto is all about trading without having the proper knowledge of it.
Don't rush into trading that's my friendly advice to you

It is still not too late to start with BTC, if we take into account that BTC is a currency that is in a reasonable price to buy, it should be seen as an opportunity, I know that many BTC investors want to buy lower, but it is difficult than BTC lower more, we must take into account that there are many people and institutions who bought BTC and who will defend a certain price level, nobody likes to see their investment fall, and they may be defending their positions with a good amount of very high sell orders This is what I call the great wall of protection, although this happens, even if you invest 1usd or the amount you want in BTC at this time, I am sure that it will multiply and in the medium term, it is time to get on the train and not miss the good things in life.

Long story short I want to start from scratch I want to ask the seniors who are here.
I want to start trading again. Could you please give me some advice so that I don't go through things like a few years ago.
There is no match to learn because you have already experience what is your mistake and that is "TRUSTING CRYPTOCURRENCIES" so from that you should learn to Invest with Heart and Mind.
Buy and HODL , simply as that .

you have been here since 2017 so you already Knew what i am saying here.
experience is a great teacher. maybe this saying really applies to it.
speaking for a beginner maybe they will be a little confused because they haven't experienced anything unexpected.
but for people who have been around for a long time, of course they have experienced various kinds of unexpected events.
I like your expression, namely buy then hodl.
but of course it is not as simple as imagined. it takes a process of patience and resistance not to sell when the temptation of the price is good it's very difficult to do

Welcome back to crypto. "It is never too late to get started on a new path of success. You can shape your life the way you want it to be by putting in the work on a daily basis. - Anonymous" BTC right now is taking correction and its price is revolving in window of 45k to 50k. I suggest spend some time seeing the price volatility before making final decision about investment.

Understand current situation and invest small, and when you get grasp of market cycles then its upto you.Always remember only invest money which you okay with losing and also that you are not in loss unless you sell.

Slightly tells me that I know bitcoin from this forum around June 2017,
But I haven't kept up with the crypto world for a long time due to my busy business and boredom with the price of BTC in 2019.
So I almost forgot all my assets until there was one. the thing I think is my stupidity, I omitted my Trezor which still contained around 9 ETH at the time I bought ETH around $ 700 in mid 2018, and ETH keeps dropping so I ignore it.
Long story short I want to start from scratch I want to ask the seniors who are here.

We actually have the same experience- started on the forum last 2017 (though I participated into various campaign signatures) but I went on spending every bit of its proceeds. Unfortunately, I did not expect its price to skyrocket to its price now; I would have earned around $20,000+ on the bank if I just kept and HODL my BTCs.

While trading may be considered an alternative method of earning BTCs, I highly advise to avoid it especially if you lack the necessary skills and experience on the field. But if you really prefer trading, then start low and learn from there. Trading and staking high amounts of value may result into a loss that is unexpected due to the high risk of the method itself.

Good point, starting low and try checking if you are fit for this business.

Never to rush things out, most of those who participated because of the hypes failed and losses their money inside this market,
it's never too late if you know what you are doing and you understand the cycle.

Invest your time and not only your money to understand the nature of this business if you see by yourself that you are capable
working around, that's the best time to go full time and invest a good portion of your savings.

It is never too late to start anything as far as life still exists.  It is a matter of time to get all you have missed in the previous time. All things can be done when you realise to start what you really want to achieve.
There is no late comer to invest,  the main thing is one to be focused and pursue that  very goal and to make sure it is been achieved.

Indeed, but I bet the OP knows that already because as stated he/she has been here in this forum since 2017 but the OP have become inactive due to the market's dipping and boredom. Surely, the OP have learned his/her mistake as the wallets called Trezors containing 9 ETH has been missing since 2018 during his/her inactivity. There's no way to recover that if it's already omitted so the best way left is to start again from the start and make the mistakes as an experience so that it won't happen again sooner. That 9 ETH is a big amount now and it would been a big help if the OP didn't forget the wallet.

Of course, it's never too late to invest in any type. now the value of bitcoin is very expensive compared to a few years ago, I'm sure every year it increases so if you have money invest because the price of bitcoin in 2 or 3 years must be very expensive. everyone has their own time.
I think everyone understands that every year bitcoin increases very significantly, but the problem is that they are still afraid to invest in cryptocurrencies assuming that the market is uncontrollable or often bearish. but basically investing in bitcoin is very good and very not slow now to invest.

I think it's better late than never, even though the price of Bitcoin is high right now, but that does not mean there is no opportunity to be able to
generate profits. Because the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise every year, so buying Bitcoin now can still generate profits from Bitcoin.
But always invest money that we can afford to lose, even though investing in Bitcoin is actually quite safe, but because the price of Bitcoin is volatile,
there is nothing wrong with being careful and not using money for daily needs. After buying Bitcoin we have to be patient waiting for the Bitcoin price
to rise and reach the target we want, because making a profit from Bitcoin can't be obtained instantly.

No time is to late . The year is getting to an end . For those who think they missed the opportunity it is never late. As the new year is beginning let it be a reminder to start up those things we could no meet up . Most time procrastinating is tend to tie is down not to pursue important things.
No, it was a little bit late but at least we still have the opportunity than to miss everything.
To able to start this new year for investment is literally a good idea, it means a new beginning and besides, the price isn't high which is really our chance to make buy while it was cheap.
I'm thinking that 2022 is still a good year for crypto and a more bullish market to come. If we are able to start as early as possible, that gonna be our favor to make a huge profit.

Crypto is an amazing opportunity that extends far beyond just an investment opportunity. If you want to invest you really should do yourself a favor and learn as much about the philosophy of crypto as you should about how to make money from it. Bitcoin is only truly profitable for those who own 30K or more. $5K in Bitcoin now, you’ll never get rich in the next decade.  There’s other alt coins that would be better for $5K and the payout would be much more than Bitcoin.

You are not alone on this table. I was introduced into Crypto around 2017/2018 but I totally stayed away when some of my investment went South. I thought I wasn't really carve out for Crypto, thank God I embrace it fully 2021.
Your case is a familiar one to me. I've a few friends I introduced to this forum who've not been active. At some point I got annoyed that I merely wasted my time and resources on them, considering the fact that one had to pay that "evil registration" fee for them. However, when I read stories like yours I get encouraged that one day they could return to the forum.

the only effective way to make trading is in short term trading.
If you keep writing this way with irrelevance, ranking up will be a forgone alternative.

Let the things in the past where we might have done the execution wrong can be a lesson not to do things like that in the future, because what we have done is the best lesson we have to not repeat it again.

so don't feel complacent let alone despair to continue to learn something for improvement because learning will never be interrupted to continue to be added. also don't feel late with what you are going to do there is always time to redo and fix it properly.

so it's true "It's never too late to start" because it's true that crypto growth continues to grow so never continue to study and dedicate and manage well, then you will one day get something that you really hope for.
