They take a few days to send payments as they are not high priority.

yep, and without a fee many of the transactions will likely never make it into a block.

Actually, most sites use coinbox.me as a temporary wallet. A lot of people don't realize that.

you have nice threads here on forum. if you let other to use you signature space you can earn 0.01 -0.02 btc per month. all you need is to post to this forum.

Some people get a hell of a lot more than that. You can get up to 0.8BTC from Primedice.

You would need to post 4000 constructive posts per month, you would need to be a moderator, sellor, escrow service, ect. and spend 12h a day posting

I would agree that you can probably get a few cBTC a month, probably a lot of persons have but if you post solely to get some money you are loosing your time that would be better spend building a service, an education or skills amha; post for fun, and get a few coins along the way

Well if you want to earn you've got to put in the effort. I wish I had the time to post all day because I would if I could. I'm happy with the little I get though.

You may not get the max payment.
But still, you get 0.0002 (20,000 satoshi) per post.
I am not sure how many captcha you need to enter in those faucets to get 20,000 satoshi.

You get 220 satoshis per captcha, one an hour, on freebitco. You are right 20,000satoshis per post is wayyyyyy more

If you have referees you don't have to enter the captchas and you can always sell your signature + get some referees on freebitco  Tongue

Saving money in your day to day life and buying bitcoins with it will get you the bitcoins faster 2
You don't go to the restaurant =>0.03BTC No taxi =>0.02BTC Accept a few hours overtime =>0.08BTC ect.

Read the terms, most if not all have a payout minimum that will only be transfered to your address once you go over that limit

My money; Our Bitcoin.

If you watch the Free Bitcoin Sites thread you can stay updated on what sites are working
and what ones may be down for various reasons.  These sites are verified before being
added to the list and are checked everyday by me and other followers of the thread.
Being on this site there is the additional safety of the thread being watched by the
moderators.

By following the Free Bitcoin Sites thread one can read the frequent comments about the
experiences others have had with these sites, making it easy - if one doesn't have a lot
of time to devote to checking all the sites out - to determine which ones are worth a visit
and which ones might be a waste of time.

Many of these free BTC site's owners/operators follow the thread as well and will post
themselves when there is something to report about their site. If one has an issue
with any of these sites, or one wants to contact a particular sites owner/operator,
one can ask in the thread to try and get an answer... with some of these sites
this might be the only way of contact.

Beware of copy-cat threads and web pages, who don't take care to check or maintain
their listings and often have dubious sites/links ( sometimes hidden behind url-shortener links...
i.e. you can't be sure what site you are actually going to when you click on their links. )
There are very many sites that have their own lists of free bitcoin sites, but many of them
are scams and are more interested in helping themselves than in helping newbies to get
started in the world of Bitcoin.

The link to the Free Bitcoin Sites thread is in my sig.
The newbie version of the thread can be found here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/free-bitcoin-sites-90718

Can anyone help with this? Im new to BTC and after talking about it with a guy at work i decided to give it a go. I won't put any real money into it until i see for myself if its worth my time. He told me about the faucets and also about how they pay out peanuts for youre time but i thought i would start there and see what happens. I've been using Land of Bitcoin Faucets and extras for 3+ weeks. Every day i do around 20 faucets. (I know this isnt alot but im still sceptical about BTC) So far the biggest single payout i received was 1,750 Satoshi which i was amazed at....now im just Pi**ed off immensely. I only have one wallet and one ID on my laptop. My Bitcoin wallet has been catching up and on Thursday it finally fully caught up....and my wallet is still empty.

Why?

Usually you have to wait for a certain threshold to cash out and most often you have to request the cash out

If I may : You can also rent your Signature like it was advised to you before  (There is a list of websites that rent the signature here : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-signature-ad-campaigns-333916), you could also work for bitcoins (google it),  book a hotel with pointshound (i dt have any relation to this website), sell something for bitcoins

If you want to go the faucet route, the free lottery that was adviced to you is pretty good for a faucet : http://freebitco.in/?r=163799 (referral link) or freebitco.in (non referral link)

There was a faucet that you got 300 satoshis for filling out a captcha every so often whilst streaming radio stations. I listened to it all day and got 0.00014 lol. Lesson learned.

Hey Smiley

I think you may not be understanding the dynamics of faucets. They give a reeeeally tiny amount, but the least amount you can transact in the bitcoin network is 5430 satoshi (0.00005430 btc). You have to somehow collect all that before you get something transfered to your account.

Besides that, most of em allow you to do it every hour or 30 minutes cause they really want you to check the website and keep doing it to get a reward. As for my personal experience I received my first satoshi after around half a day of checking around faucet lists and playing with most of em.

The ones that worked well are the following:

CoinBox.me, which has a list of a bunch of faucets that put your satoshi in a "coinbox" account, when you have more than 5430 satoshi you can redeem to your account instantly.

http://www.vnbitcoin.org/freebitcoin.php They require a valid email address and after you verify it, you get 0.00003 BTC sent to your account. They send payments every few hours.

freebitco.in this is a good faucet, you can roll the dice and get a reward every hour if i'm not wrong, and you can also play bets on your earned satoshi to multiply them. They pay out every monday, and you may not be included in a payout even if you have more than 5430 satoshi. Took me two weeks to get 6000 satoshi sent.

There's a couple other I can't remember, just look around for faucet lists and be really disciplined if you want a reward, or leave an address to maybe get a tip?

Cheers!

They pay less than peanuts. They pay peanut dust. Get a blockchain.info wallet for a starter and set up all the security features so you don't have to download the blockchain. If you want to get started with Bitcoin just buy a little bit off ebay first.

No offense intended, but you must value your time extremely low or bitcoins very high to be using faucets. Why not just ask your co-worker for some?
