A few people above need to understand that the amount of bitcoin you claim seems lower because the price is higher, but in actual fact it has the same monetary value.

Think about this - the first faucets were giving away around 1-2 bitcoins per claim back in 2011. Seems a lot doesn't it? But bitcoin was only worth around $0.003 per coin back then. (I wish I had a time machine!)

If you build up the bonuses in Moon Bitcoin it still ranks as one of the best paying faucets out there in my opinion.

I don't deny the things said by you my friend but just imaging you claim every 5 minutes and you get only 24 - 30 satoshi at the end while in freebitcoin you get 300 satoshi for just one single claim . Some people with lot of active referrals will get a good amount of satoshi but on the other hand people like me whose active referrals dropped to 10 the amount we get is actually too low .

My usual claim on freebitcoin is around 24 sats an hour at the moment?? Not sure where you get 300 from, unless you win one of the prizes which is all down to luck and can't be relied upon.

I take your point about referrals, that's why you need to work at getting new ones all the time to compensate for the drop off rate.

Even i have given up Moon Bitcoin . There was a time when i used to earn over 20,000 satoshi in just 2 days because of my referrals and today i earn 2000 satoshi in 10 days through my referrals . Most of them have left using that site because it has reduced it's reward . The site is actually getting less revenue than how much it used to get before an year or so . But it will always be one of the best faucet ever . I wish that the site runs forever .

I live in VietNam, and this is my rate, and there is not much offfers to do too
Code:
 current claim rates
The table below shows the claim rates at 2017-02-25 11:05:58 (UTC).
Claim Time Payout
5 minutes 4 satoshi
10 minutes 8 satoshi
15 minutes 10 satoshi
30 minutes 16 satoshi
1 hour 24 satoshi
4 hours 42 satoshi
1 day 75 satoshi
4 days 106 satoshi
1 week 120 satoshi
4 weeks 160 satoshi
hard claiming in a week not enough for a breakfast
Yeah, faucet rewards is much lower than it was some time ago. I remember when I was able to collect more than 100k satoshi in week without referrals. Now I'm only can collect 30-40k satoshi in week. One of the reason of lowered rewards is very high bitcoin price.
But there are one thing which I don't like on Moonbit faucet - they are discriminating people, because they are giving different rewards for different countries. One of example, rewards for my country is 2 times bigger than for your country.

Moon bitcoin is too old, and I guess it earns a lot from its users. But faucets nowadays is not worth to try as the bitcoin price blow up and the chance you get from faucets getting lower and lower. But it depends on you if you want to continue using it these days.

I bet joining signature campaign worth trying but if you can't do it properly then much better if you don't do it at all.

I easily get 100K satoshis a week from Moon Bitcoin, and I only claim once or twice a day Smiley. You should create a rotator like mine and promote it, that's how I've managed to get the 100K+ per week. 100K satoshi is only about USD$1.50, but 4 payouts is enough to pay for my DigitalOcean VPS each month Smiley.

Thanks once again for the comments and advice. I don't think of Bitcoin as an income source in its own right. It has some unusual features that I want to use for various purposes. These are -

Part of a diversified investment portfolio
A verifiable means of collecting charitable donations
An international payment method
A means of accepting payments for internet sales

Obviously there are many more useful advantages ro Bitcoin.

I don't think that you got how it works.
First, you make an account and from that moment you will start earning satoshi with a different rates based on your claims.
More you claim and more you will earn because if you dont claim for some hours your rate will be lower.
You can check current rates from the site's faq like every other thing about how it works.
They pay you every week at saturday or sunday.
Also take in mind that different faucets work in different ways.

I would like to add, that moonbit.co.in is the odd one in the bunch. most faucets work differently, and moonbitcoin has pretty unique system.

usually, you just enter your address, (+solve captcha), click "claim" and receive some satoshi to some middle-man wallet (faucetbox, xapo, etc).

I thought I'd have a look at a faucet to try to get some idea of the concept. I started to visit Moon Bitcoin, mainly because I didn't see any negative posts about it, and it was at the top of a list that I looked at. I've now given up on it, because I think it is a complete waste of time. It's jerking me around at 2,500 Satoshi, and it needs 5,500 before it will pay out. I think that is a massive 1.5 cents, unless I added an extra zero when I did the calculation. Smiley I've read a few posts about using faucets, and I've tried to optimise my visiting behaviour based on the information in those posts. Even though it is a background task, I now believe it is a complete waste of time for me to continue. Faucets seem to be popular, so it may be that I chose the wrong faucet, or I don't understand the way to "play" them.

moon is too old  and too weak,  look at here:

i registered today morning ,now almost reach 0.01, why not try it  Wink

It looks as if I owe Moonbitcoin an apology. They did update my Satoshi awards at a far better rate, and it looks as if it was in accordance with the promise on the site. They have also sent me a payment without any prompting or chasing.

I still don't understand the business model. I seemed to earn more by not visiting the site, than I got by visiting the site. This seems to be the opposite of what I would have expected. The earnings rate is pretty low, so I don't think I wil lbother with any other faucets.
If you really want to earn lots of bitcoin you need to be hard working and multi tasking just make your own rotator with referral links
And also join in any sign campaign that you can earn weekly and also try to market or promote your rotator site put some ads and share to social media
And i hope you will earn much than claming in faucet sites..
another tip after collecting more bitcoins go to digital goods and buy high rank account that you can save more time and earn more bitcoins..
But make sure that you will get sign message from seller of the account to prove he is the owner of the account.
Good luck to your journey and i hope you will learn more to stay in our community.
Just dont forget every high account register in our community has value.. Be active and your account will be rank up you will earn moe by joining in sign campaign and doing some offers from services section.. Goodluck i hope it helps..

When I started I used Moonbitcoin with Xapo and it was ok, in just a couple of days I've learned that it's a complete waste of time but either way you still can understand how payments work and start to get comfortable with confirmation times and decimals. I suggest you sign up for a signature campaign, there are a lot that accept low ranking members, even as a newbie you would make much more with 5% of the effort compared to faucets.

well, it's all quite simple really.

faucets earn by ads, right?

different ad companies pay for different stats. for example, some companies pay for "total number of views". for such ads, most profitable faucets are those they make you click every second (100 satoshi/5 minutes).

some companies pay for "1 unique visitor per day". for such ads, most profitable faucets are those that you visit once or twice per day. (1000satoshi/12 hours)

Just a quick update on this.

Thanks to the advice on this board, I started to claim Satoshi, and I reduced the number of visits to the site. This has now taken my credit above the level required for a payout ( 5,500 ).

Thanks again guys for your advice. Smiley

Someone can make lots of bitcoin in faucet by referring someone to earn passive income with your referrals
Than claiming rewards every minutes or hours. Just try to make a lots of referrals or test it with your self..
I can earn 0.001 everyday for referral faucet. and I made lots of referrals by sharing it to other forums and social media.
and my referrals are still increasing even i dont need to claim rewards to earn..
Even it just a cents for me it can help a lot than doing nothing..

You're right referrals are key to success with faucets.
