I've read a few posts about using faucets, and I've tried to optimise my visiting behaviour based on the information in those posts. Even though it is a background task, I now believe it is a complete waste of time for me to continue. Faucets seem to be popular, so it may be that I chose the wrong faucet, or I don't understand the way to "play" them.

I thought I'd have a look at a faucet to try to get some idea of the concept. I started to visit Moon Bitcoin, mainly because I didn't see any negative posts about it, and it was at the top of a list that I looked at. I've now given up on it, because I think it is a complete waste of time. It's jerking me around at 2,500 Satoshi, and it needs 5,500 before it will pay out. I think that is a massive 1.5 cents, unless I added an extra zero when I did the calculation.
