Jack is holding the right coin cause bitcoin as the mother coin still remains the most profitable coin to hold, for me personally I hold bitcoin and some other tokens but my most credible among all is bitcoin.

In my opinion, it should be more safe to invest in Bitcoin than in any altcoin. It is the strongest one, the coin with greatest support of the community. They all can collapse in the future but looking from this position, alts have more chances for that than bitcoin

And this is what I'm telling folks here

A bear market is a good time to reshuffle your portfolio as everything goes downhill including worthy assets. Besides, this market reveals it quite conspicuously which assets are good ones and which are not so good. We see that Bitcoin is still the reining king of cryptocurrencies and no altcoin comes close to dethrone it (Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, or any other altcoin or shitcoin)

On the other hand, Litecoin, for example, has clearly shown that it is definitely not going to kick the bucket any time soon and end up as many other Bitcoin competitors. In this manner, the winners in this "race for survival" are easy to spot and choose from. So what are you waiting for?

I understand that Jack has four million followers on Twitter, so it should have big influence on people. What effect that could have on the market is questionable but surely is a good advertisement for bitcoin.

I say it's no coincidence that a highly successful engineer only holds Bitcoin and not any other crypto, he most likely understands that Bitcoin is a highly robust software, while alts are just snake oil cashgrabs. And it's nice to see that he tried Lightning Network, even many veteran members of Bitcoin community haven't tried it yet

Bitcoin is good for long-term holding (compared to altcoins, obviously)

But that doesn't mean we should not use altcoins as we should understand that Jack is not a speculator (read, he doesn't spend all his time looking at the charts). So while his opinion matters a lot, we should nevertheless take into account that it is not universally applicable. In this way, if you are a trader, discarding the profit potential of altcoins (whether the profits come through shorts or longs) doesn't seem like a very wise idea

I don't want to reveal what I own, but still this post reminds me that I should have most of my portfolio in Bitcoin and not in an altcoin. Smiley Still a solid altcoin with big potential will most probably overpass Bitcoin in terms of gains when we enter the bull market so you guys might wanna take that into account.

Holding bitcoins is good but i don't think  that Jack publicity of his owned bitcoin can help to push up the bitcoind market value. It will be good if Jack can influence and attract people all over the world to keep bitcoin and patronize it to help the demand increase together it's value.

He is smart, he knows that most of the currencies out there are junk so no need for a busy man to waste time on figuring out which ones are good and which are worthless. Us normal people have time to research and invest in ethereum, litecoin, and more

If he was clever, he would diversify this investment to other altcoins ("Do not put all eggs in one basket."). Bitcoin will certainly be a king for a long time in this market, but other altcoins also have great potential. We could see this yesterday watching a rapid increase in the Litecoin price.
Maybe he think bitcoin is safe investment. Because risk in altcoin is bigger especially if BTC dumped again, altcoin can followed it.  At least that is what i think when i not invest in altcoin. Only BTC and altcoin that i pick only ETH.

Because bitcoin is a stronger and more reliable coin. Buying altcoins has now become dangerous. If you do not have the proper knowledge, you can lose money by investing in altcoins. I think if a person has a lot of money he does not need to bother about other crypto. Enough investment in bitcoin.

Well, it's good that the founder of Twitter has at leat the king of cryptocurrencies, which means he is not among people who think that it's all scam. Testing lightning network is also pretty cool of him. We have influential people who at least have some crypto just in case. If there were more of them, it could help the market climb up, since the demand would grow. However, the post itself doesn't add much to the discussion, since the author didn't express his/her opinion on what impact it has on the market or what was the point one was trying to make with this post.

okay it's quite interesting to discuss it here, I think not only the founding jack of Twitter there might be other founders who are also the same as him for example Google, Facebook or others, so whether that would make the value of Bitcoin better, so I will wait for others to say that's in 2020
Some of them did, and they will never tell you.

Many speculators who prefer to diversify their investments are HODLing Bitcoin, only speculators who risk in those shitcoins

There are many ways to diversify your investments

And one way is to short these shitcoins (as long as we can). So while we are at it, I'm interested whether having Bitcoin Cash shorts would count as an investment in that coin? Technically, it would be correct to consider such an investment an anti-investment of sorts since you are essentially betting on the coin's downfall, not so much on its rise

But as there is not such term, we should be cautious when someone mentions they have certain investments in shitcoins. It looks like we should ask of what type or kind these investments are (e.g. longs or shorts), so as not to be fooled into making erroneous assumptions

why are you waiting for them to say whether they have bitcoin or not? are you incapable of making your own decisions when it comes to bitcoin that you need some hyped up event to let you know what to do next!
it is pretty simple, you either see some potential in bitcoin and buy or you don't and you stay away. you shouldn't just wait for other people to do something so you can follow Wink

Jack Dorsey has been a known bitcoin bull for a time now, and I don't think it's something quite unusual to say the least. What's good about him is that he doesn't shill out for bitcoins and let the markets decide for itself, though I think he'd love to chime in and engage in discussions regarding cryptocurrencies and bitcoin on his founded platform, twitter.

Social media, especially Twitter, have begun to draw more serious discussions than many forums, "This forum and Reddit." It's good to promote support for someone like you.

I agree. It seems like more and more serious topics have started to deviate from the common hubs of discussions that people have been using for years. Just goes to show that bitcoin isn't just confined into a few places right now and we're still growing day by day.
