what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
sorta interesting thing happened..

cgminer crashed last night. (vista32 on my 24/7 HTPC) so.. ran cgminer again and stick serial# 13 fired up but stick serial number# 24 did not, that is until I unplugged and replugged it back in and off it went. both were running before for weeks. not sure what happened. maybe windows  Roll Eyes. it is a usb2 port.

and oh not related to the above I bought a  superbpag USB 3 hub from amazon -  and a rPi B from crazyguy. also an artic breeze mobile (amazon again) and BTW that arctic breeze mobile says "virtually silent USB fan" umm no its NOT. it makes a hum.

anyway going to switch the miners from the HTPC to the rPi B and the suberbpag with the artic breeze in a few days.

we have the   _   bug    please over ride and enter him

Fixed the bug so you can now enter users with - or _. I have also added the user.

Thank you..

So we have done it all cool.

@ herbpean we are not changing titles again.

We are all setup correctly in order  so there is no need to reset the list.

I will do a pdf of the list and then cryptoglance can remove the old names.

I have prevailed! Sort of, I have several questions.

Jan11baktegonSticks

I did sticks plural cause I've always had 4 sticks running on my address but my setup was too finicky to change it, clearly. Are we planning on changing the address name with each month...?

http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1JiWuyX94wrCr7JhkAn7x5qNMCEef1KhqX.Jan11baktegonSticks

1) Does anyone know how to change the frequency of the sticks once you've started Cgminer? They default to 125 but I'd like to do 200

2) Anyone know why sudo ./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1JiWuyX94wrCr7JhkAn7x5qNMCEef1KhqX.Jan11baktegonSticks --compac-freq 200 would return a bash cgminer not found error. I can navigate to the folder in my file system on the raspberry pi and start the executable however so i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong...

3) I also think one of my sticks burned out Sad It returns an error about usb lib or something and then goes to status ZOMBIE in cgminer. Any way to check if my stick is working on Windows? Since the pi is finally back up I don't want to mess around with it.

1) I don't think you can change it while cgminer is running.

2) Did you do the cd cgminer-gekko or cd cgminer-gekko-rev2 (if your using the new 1) first?

3) Huh don't know about running in windows.

So as of now

 http://poolmonitor.cryptoglance.info/

has 1 error due to a _ bug

jan11duke_1ststick

will not enter.

Not sure if it's the same issue with the underscore but I can't see my jan11 entry on there either? http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1JiWuyX94wrCr7JhkAn7x5qNMCEef1KhqX.jan11dukebox_1ststick

@ cryptoglance please correct   jan11duke_1ststick

@ sloopy  please  correct   your miners

http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1JiWuyX94wrCr7JhkAn7x5qNMCEef1KhqX.sloopysticks          >>> wrong

http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1JiWuyX94wrCr7JhkAn7x5qNMCEef1KhqX.Jan11sloopysticks    >>> please do it  this way

At this point in time  we need only fix these two.

one is on cryptoglance to fix. >>>>>   jan11duke_1ststick

and sloopy     please read the pm and fix it.

we will then have everyone listed on the bottom section of the sheet.

and we can archive the top and then remove it.

★ these are stars ★
They take a moment to ramp up the Ghs, give them a couple of minutes.

Also, please address that in the gekkoscience stick support thread Smiley

However I'm still getting the error with my stick, err:(0) LIBUSB_SUCCESS

Are you running the stock cgminer (and not the version for these devices)?

If so - that error is normal. (and not really a problem).

You'll want to use the version created for these sticks http://gekkoscience.com/misc/cgminer-gekko-win32.zip

This will also let you set the frequency higher too

Thanks for the Windows instance Herb, it works perfectly!

Right sorry, I mean yes I can set the frequency when the entire command line works, but that didn't work for me. So I was wondering if you can change the frequency after cgminer starts.

However I'm still getting the error with my stick, err:(0) LIBUSB_SUCCESS

I see, I misunderstood the issue. Try a lower diff at start and add this to your command line --suggest-diff 16

1K is too high ...

You can also use on of the bat file in the zip i gave you.

1) You're already doing it in #2 --compac-freq 200

2) Strange your string looks all good ... here's mine> -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3334 -u 1JiWuyX94wrCr7JhkAn7x5qNMCEef1KhqX.Jan11HerbPeanStick --compac-freq 125 --suggest-diff 16

3) I would not think so. Yes, you can run CGMiner in Windows. Try mine => https://www.dropbox.com/s/f7a4sqgquknaf1h/cgminer-gekko-win32.rar?dl=0

EDIT: you probably be required to install zadig_2.1.2.exe ... and change the driver of the compact to WINUsb

I also did a pdf of everything.

It is on a custom sized file for a sheet of paper 68 inches by 68 inches  it fits every entry
If you look below you can see all the newer info is to the far right.
once those nine older members finish I will do another pdf of the full set and send the file to crpytoglance and z0u

we can then delete the top part of the list.
