Why not, I am from Europe but Japan truly deserves it. Since ww2 Japan became most technically advanced nation. I know lot about robotics and automatized systems and Japan is unreachable in that segment. Country on the far east, poor with resources but rich with incredibly talented, hard-working and devoted people. If Satoshi is a real creator of btc then they fully deserve it.

Hello all! Of course Japan is very specific place with unique culture and I love Japanese very much. I think this is right decision because they have no any precious metals or diamonds but they are good in business with a super high level of costumer - services and it's good idea make Japan one of the most popular place and bitcoin paradise or in general cryptocurrency paradise with a good and acceptable taxes. Japan is the one of the most advanced countries in the world so any kind of different attitude toward bitcon and cryptocurrencies in general would surprise me. This is the great path that other should alo follow but still there will be countries who will oppose. Therefore bitcoin should use such niche as Japan for further progress and promotion.

That's a great news and I am expecting other countries to have the broad approach towards Bitcoin/crypto while taking any legal decision. Bitcoin follows the principle of democracy in a real manner by providing the power and control to its users. If I am not wrong then I think Australia is the first country to introduce crypto to the primary students in their academic curriculum.

They were much focused about the future. The government too has understood the things in a much better way unlike the other governments that has been imposing ban upon bitcoin. Already it has been serving to be the central hub for Cryptocurrency due to the legalized acceptance even when China holds majority of the contributors.

it is very likely to happen, because basically bitcoin also comes from that country. and up to now most bitcoin users are also in that country. so it is not impossible if the plan can indeed be realized

I do not think they plan to be the capital of the world for bitcoin.
But I can believe they will allow more shops to accept its use more widely then they already do.
There are many more places that can be the capital and a smaller more dense place would be more believable to accomplish this feat in the cryptoworld first.

Since last year they became one of the biggest country that has endorsed and adopted bitcoin locally. And as of now bitcoin is still being used and supported by Japanese people. And there's a Japanese company that will pay it's workers with bitcoin.
