Is this the really reason why the price of bitcoin is sky rocketing? I think almost all of the country in the world accepts bitcoin for every individual.
Sure that they will. It will certainly open a new door to either bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I have heard that people try to accept BItcoin because they want to import the Ripple system to the bank. Well, hope that Bitcoin will soon appear all over the world
By the end of 2016, there were around 4200 Bitcoin-accepting merchants and storefronts in Japan, near quadrupling the total from 2015. Now, with the current progress in Bitcoin regulation made by Japanese authorities, the number of merchants accepting Bitcoin is expected to quintuple to 20000 this year. Indeed, good times for Bitcoin adoption are coming.
It is great news on bitcoin. As you said Japan status in regards to bitcoin acceptance is growing for now. And we all know that japan is one of the developing country which is focus in technology wise. So if the japan will start the great way on accepting bitcoin as a payment on transaction it may lead on other countries on trying bitcoin as a Japan a same country will start it. And as the technology brought by the Japan develops it is the beginning also on bitcoin development for more security and transactions. I think this is going to be the first step for Japan on the way for bitcoin adoption. They will see how this payments will work and after they will add something more and like step by step they will come to mass bitcoin adoption on their territory.
Since they have legalized bitcoin there is a surge in the usage and till now they have got over eighteen applications till now for the approval of bitcoin exchanges and there would a huge investments coming into bitcoin from the Japanese market and that is driving the price and breaking all records ,what if more countries starts legalizing bitcoin ,the price would break the roof.

The main trouble right now for btc is that no one is really using them because very few stores are actually accepting them ^^
If number of stores increase then the use of btc will too and that's what I call good news!
I think the demand of bitcoin from japan is the reason of the good health of the bitcoin price. I am happy with, keep demanding folks and #MakeBitcoinGreatAgain

Well, as far I know japan is one of the highly innovative country and because japan is a country with good technology maybe it is great for them to use and accept cryptocurrency especially bitcoin . For sure it will be a nice experience for the people of japan as well as the tourists who also uses bitcoin as they can already use their bitcoin directly in japan .

It's good to see this type of news. We know how Japan is one of the richest country despite of it's geographical size for being small. This will make the growth of bitcoin very fast and once they started to apply it to the industry we'll see the price and demand of bitcoin to increase. I hope my country will recognize bitcoin like Japan.

True Japan made huge step with this move. Now it will be only matter of time how will follow. Will it be China, Russia, USA, or some other country.

I hope not only Japan but all countries around the world will use bitcoin as a payment method, it will be great and convenient for bitcoin users. In my country there have been many ATMs used for bitcoin withdrawals, and more interesting is that there are some coffee shops that use bitcoin for payment. I think these would be great if all services use bitcoin for payment. Japan's bitcoin acceptability is probably the first step in the development of bitcoin globally
Again a great news for Bitcoin, but there is still some "limits" customers must answer a list of questions that were not asked before like to tell their job and the reason that push them to transact on bitcoins. 
They must also download id documents and wait that Exchange platforms treat, which can take a few days. On the other side, themselves exchanges must comply with several additional regulatory requirements. The most restrictive of these is a requirement to hold, at a minimum liquid capital (don't know the amount). Still, better than nothing...

Good news, it would be a great opportunity for some kind of Olympic adoption, maybe a shop somewhere or something along those lines could add bitcoin as a payment option, it would certainly give bitcoin decent exposure.
I agree! Where I live there are some gas stations that will let you buy Bitcoin but I haven't seen any place that accepts it and I live in a big city. It would definitely be nice to have more places that accept bitcoin. I am surprised there aren't yet. Also heard about that news that some establishments in Japan are going to run a test, maybe to gauge how much bitcoin's usage will be. These are all very good positive developments for a wider usage and since it is Japan, we can assume that the support for such technology will be better. Let's just hope that transactions don't take too long to confirm or that might serve as hindrance for more people to try and use bitcoin more often.
Last thing i read just now is that they have over 250 companies that will accept and make payment in bitcoin. This is really huge step for all world countries to accept bitcoin as payment and hope it will be good for some usage in future.

this could be the reason why the price recovered, right now japan is basically backing up bitcoin by itself, chinese are known to be only manipulator and dumpers that care onyl about profit
in fact they didn't make any progress despite their market volume on trading, for accepting more bitcoin in online shop or phisical stores, they only accept it for miners
you can easily tell which country is greedy here and which not, and essentially any country that don't help bitcoin to progress as a currency of bitcoin is the former
