Now a lot of famous people are trying to create their own cryptocurrency. But at the same time the ideas of their project are very weak. They hope to attract investment thanks to their celebrities. Investors in ICO under such market conditions have learned to understand the projects, if the idea of the project is bad, then a celebrity will not help him

i am not a fan of jason derulo and that is why i do not find his coin really interesting. in addition, there are already so many altcoins, so why do we need this coin? as long as none of these celebrity coins bring anything new, they are of no interest to me.

I heard a lot of these Celebrities making their own coin and some of them are tokenizing their selves but some of these celebrity coins are not working but the good side of this is that they are exposing cryptocurrency and that is a positive impact in the crypto market, I hope someday it will be worth it.

this is indeed a good way to promote cryptocurencies because celebrities like jason d are well known around the world but this can be a threat to other coins  .

So also:

Lil wayne
Nicki
Cardi B
Wale
Wizkid
And me too

oh really ? i didnt know that more and more artist are now promoting cryptos but until now i dont really see a good recovery in the market . maybe some people are not yet convinced to invest on crypto's even if they alredy knew that it was legit  .

those you mentioned are not really popular celebrities that's why they dont really care about their reputation . though scamming can still occur no matter  no matter what the status of the person is .

Independent ICO projects are difficult to bring a big turn to the market, because these investments can only raise funds for a certain project! What we need is that investors can invest more in a balanced way than concentrate!

Agree with you. By the way, now, ICO founders and investors damp Eth price.

Wrong info.

GCOX, the world's first global celebrity cryptocurrency exchange. Probably, the project team is hiring some celebrity or maybe some of them willing to sign the contract as one of the celebrity in GCOX. Our Senator, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, most of you guys know him in boxing, also signed as one of the celebrity and take note, he is the FIRST CELEBRITY ON ITS GLOBAL CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGE.

Then maybe Jason Derulo has a contract with the GCOX to be another celebrity on it's platform. It's their own strategy to attract and gain more investors. Jason Derulo didn't create his own coin okay?
As long as the project has many benefits, even the CEO of the team is an artist, why not contribute?

Please have a time to search and gather more information before creating threads because some people might use your info as basis to other discussions. Does searching is a rough work?

This is mostly the main problem for almost newbies who just post without knowing the facts but anyway thanks for this to avoid confusion in the future.
I sometimes encounter this kind of post that some celebrities are making their own cryptocurrency which makes me think twice because why do they have to make such cryptocurrency if they were celebrities already?
They make for having 2 possible things they aim which do increase their exposure to crypto users and at the same time they can make out money from their own coin. They do line up with the trend or hype
without even knowing on whats crypto is all about.Just remember another similar projects like Mayweather promoting some project but still end up to be a scam or failure.
So,its not really ideal on engaging yourself into these useless projects which doesn't really have a usage at all.

Attracting investment with the help of famous is not the first time. For example, Steven Seagal participated in an advertisement for one of the projects. And when the project turned out to be scam deleted all information about its participation in the project. Or the same unsuccessful project as BuzCoin with advertising from Olga Buzovaá, which also failed miserably. Attracting a celebrity is just a PR move to increase confidence in him, but this does not mean that the project will be successful.

Nowadays too many popstars are about to make easy money.
I believe teengirls will spend all weekly money on his coins. LOL
50cent was first crypto star - started to sell album for BTC already in 2014  Wink
Grin Well, let's see how gullible people can get to be in the long run, but I would not be surprised anyway if we see some who would want to support their superstar through buying his coin. Pure bullshit! 50 cent was even different entirely compared to what Jason is doing, since he sold some albums at least in bitcoin and it is not like he wants to come up with his own coin.

I can be Derulo's coin; will just be another shit coin, with no real life usage whatsoever in the long run and that is what we really need to be kicking against in this space.
That is true, if someone sees coin / tokens only at the creator has high popularity but he does not know cryptocurrency in detail, I mean only to use when cryptocurrency is popular then I believe that the coin/token made based on that then will not last long in an exchange.

One should be aware of cryptocurrency not only relying on popularity or a feature that only functions in the short term, but one must think of a function that continues to be accepted by many people in the future so that tokens / coins will continue to have value and function properly.

It'll be find if he just uses it as a gift for his fans but it'll be very terrible if he's going to run an ICO for his own coin. LOL. I don't know how experienced he is in this world but seem like he's not a person whom can make a successful ICO Smiley). If he's really going to run an ICO for his own coin, poor his fans. LOL.
Only his die hard fans will definitely purchase this shitcoin for sure.We dont even know on what is the true usage of this coins. Derulo do only goes with the flow or on the hype but this would
still definitely fail because people here on crypto doesnt really easily believe into coins to be invested or supported even the marketer would be a famous artist or singer etc.
Only fools will buy this one and watch them lose money when the team decide to dump it.

Man, seriously..... what impact would this project make for the crypto industry to move forward? NONE.

I am really getting tired and very sad about new projects mentioning blockchain for some idea and expecting it will impact our future in some major way.

Hey. Perhaps this is his personal initiative. Perhaps he advertises this project.
