Right from my newbie days up until now, I still have to think what level of human JayJuanGee is because aside from spending time to read through forum posts  he also take the same amount of time a d efforts in each of his replies around the forum, he is one of the members who make out time to clearly explain each point to the bearest minimum of understanding so that even a newbie could easily understand his point.

Secondly JayJuanGeehave been one of the most active forum member, even without wearing a signature on his profile he still posts more than 90% if not more than that, ratio ahead of other forum members, and his merits awarding mechanisms is top nounce, he is truly a legend in here.

There's also @vapourminer  Cheesy
I have received merits from him from old posts and threads, and I understood that he takes time to read through threads.

Maybe there are other users who do the same but don't necessary send merits since they might not be merit sources. There are accounts that are active every day (Just log in but do not usually post)

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
Well, what can I add? I completely agree with you OP. That's what I noticed, he and franky1 seem to be spending lots of time on this forum and I like that but JayJuanGee really reads each post on each page. I have received merit from him on a post that I wrote on 29th page or something like that and I was like, WOW.
But franky1 does not really care. Check his merit history. After receiving many merits from people, he only sent 50 merits to just a user in the last 120 days. This has been how he is long time ago. The person that I noticed that can be like JayJuanGee is vapourminer. They are both good and focus on old posts also.

I like JayJuanGee most especially because he also focus on newbies. If you post something that is good and if you are not posting rubbish, you will receive merits from him very well.

There are other folks who have a different opinion about him but this is mine.

Yes, as is normal, not everyone is liked by everyone, and in JJG's case, he also has detractors. I just thought of starting a positive thread in this section, which isn't very common.
This is true and I did like to say, whoever has an issue with JJG just has a meaningless foss because they literally can't do what he's doing, everyone in their right frame of mind, would have appreciate his effort and diligence on the forum.

Anyway this is somewhat expected in reality, we can't be love by everyone, even Jesus Christ was still voted to be crucified those he helped.

There are many people better than me in many ways and who contribute more to the forum than I do, and they should be the ones to receive it.
Thanks for taking my joke exactly in the way I intended Grin. IMHO you are also a gem to this community who understands and maintains the very spirit of the forum.
I can understand that it feels good to realize someone is paying attention to our efforts even after so many days. It happened to me as well when @lovesmayfamilis gave me a merit for one of my posts after more than 100 days.

And you should be given a forum badge for making a topic out of it. Grin
Joke aside, even I am amazed by his dedication and comprehensive knowledge. It will take a long time for me to achieve that level. Kudos to him; he is a gem to this community.

Even though you make it clear it's a joke, I’d like to point out that I don't deserve a badge at all. There are many people better than me in many ways and who contribute more to the forum than I do, and they should be the ones to receive it.

Yes, this is correct. Whenever I receive merits from him, it is usually from a topic or thread that I had long forgotten I created. I actually go back to read the comment and thread, and I'm like, "Nice someone found this interesting." It is cool though. Another thing is how long his replies are, very thorough and meticulously written. I have a hunch that he may be a university professor or a bibliophile(for lack of a better word). Every merit sent is worth it in my estimation. There are other folks who have a different opinion about him but this is mine.

I think he should earn a forum badge or something.

But like, by far.

It has happened to me repeatedly to see that I have been given a merit and it is for a comment I made on like page 3 of a thread 5 months ago. And it's not that he gives it to me, it's that he reads the thread from cover to cover and gives merits, usually one at a time to the posts he thinks are worthy of.

Recently he has discovered a thread I wrote two and a half years ago, and has been reading it and giving merits as you can check if you want.

I think he should earn a forum badge or something.

I'd say the time he spends reading the forum is proportional to how long the posts he writes are.

And if you see how he gives merits, usually one at a time and at most two:

I think you can clearly see how much time and dedication he has to the forum.
