if you think that bitcoin is your main job i guess that would be a boring job. i read an article about a workers from a bitcoin mining firms from china they said that working in a bitcoin mining industry is seem like a boring job 'coz you are just sitting there all the time and just watching and listening the whining noise of the bitcoin miners. i suggest that looking for an alternative or additional jobs besides bitcoin to accept new challenges at work.

Most of us have their own opinion regarding to the OP question and both of them can gain a profit (Job/Bitcoin)
But if you ask me do not quit on your regular job OP because their a lot of benefits to job in real world  that give you a regular income, and if you have a free time you can do a Bitcoin like what I'm doing in the office I also have a job and when I have a free time i'm doing trading that gain me an extra income. Take note: this is my opinion it is up to you if you quit to job or go to Bitcoin Smiley

If you think that your job is an obstacle between your bitcoin work and you cannot achieve your target you want from the bitcoin beside your job then you should go for your own decision.
You can try it in a way to take leave from your job and then look at your target efficiency if you are doing well when you are on leaves then you should quit your job otherwise stick to both.  Wink

Most people slave away on a job that they are not passionate about, but it pays the bills. If you can find something that you are passionate about, you will work harder at it and you will be happy at the same time. Will your Bitcoin earnings pay for the bills or would you have to sacrifice something to leave your job and to go into Bitcoin? Leaving your job should be your last resort, but if it sucks and you are not happy and Bitcoin can pay the bills, then go for it. ^smile^

Actually both could be interconnected or may not be as well.

First Criteria - Say you are working in a organization or you are involved in some project where you get paid in the btc . So you are involved in job and you are also earning btc against it.

Second Criteria - You do not have job but do freelancing type of work only and get btc as a payment . You can earn though different campaigns, trading as well.

Third Criteria - You work in a organization where you get paid in your country's currency and to earn btc you will have to do part time work like posting here or taking some work/project where you get paid in btc

Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin

Well then, why didn't you include into how you could be richer with just bitcoin as your daily job.
I dont think that is the best idea.
Working with a company offers different incentives that will also secure your future when you retire.
And if you are still young I think you can do it all. You dont need to give up one for the other.
Do it all with time management while you still have the strength.

Do not quit your job man, you can focus on bitcoin while working too. Its not like you're gonna be studying 30 hours a week for your bitcoin graduation, its just normal stuff, research, read, ask and learn. But quitting your job for it is too much, maybe you can do that once you have earned a couple of hundred bitcoins at least in your wallet.
Each person must have their respective priorities. Working in the real world and bitcoin world I think is the same.
The important thing is that we can get what we want, such as a monthly income that is sufficient for the cost of daily living.

I think you should not quit your job to focus entirely on Bitcoin. If you are new to Bitcoin, the experience with Bitcoin is low, this should not do. There is no certainty that after you quit Bitcoin will help you better. Bitcoin is very high value even more but it can not help you get a stable income like your work. You should think again, you still need a job to make a stable income and Bitcoin will help you generate a bit extra income.

Ummm....this shouldn't even be a debate.   Unless you are of retirement age or have millions of dollars of liquidity and you don't need a career...you should obviously be focusing on a career.

You can use your disposable income to invest in bitcoin and other cryptos to diversify your overall portfolio which should also include more stable things like mutual funds, real estate, etc.

I agree. Compared to a very volatile source of income, I will definitely go to a more certain side of things. That is clear a permanent job with permanent benefits that will give you regular salaries. For example, at this very moment when everything in the exchange market is painted red, how are you going to access for funds? Better for those who have regular jobs because their salaries are consistent.

It takes money to grow money, so both you need to build more cash in order to amplify your future gains, like a guy who has 100,000 in savings from a job buying coins for 1K which would be 100 Bitcoins then waiting till it hit 2500 dollars a coin and having $150,000 profit.
While the guy who has only 10,000 in savings and gets 10 Bitcoins at 1K would make 15,000 in profit.

Same profit for same returns entirely different results, one is a sweet sum that can then be multiplied even more while the other one needs more building and will also get consumed by a person who needs to buy stuff more than the other.

this is market whatever may be happen sometime and sometime very low and everybody must have an alternate for life so that you can not totally depend on one side of everything so, please don not quit the job and if you got a huge profit then you can quit from other. this is a rule of life and rules are the result of experiences.so, dont think one side. think for every side for life. thanks

You can focus on both unless of course your job is already getting difficult and you want to get out from that trap. Now, if the job is actually good and paying well, I don't think it is a good idea to give it up because you want to focus on Bitcoin.

When you say focus on Bitcoin...are you talking here of doing some sort of trading like in Bittrex or Poloniex? Trading is an up and down kind of thing...you can earn some today and can loss some after.

Again, in case your job is not yet toxic and you are still enjoying it, just add your Bitcoin business into it and just manage your time well.

I said do both, don't go cold turkey. it's possible but more of an uphill battle. If you are looking to invest look at UMC https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.20180128

Focus on both bro. Your job is more stable as compared to the income here. When you trade, there are also losses along the way. When you do services, it won't really eat a whole lot of your time so I think you can still have ample amount of time to go to work. But don't let the opportunities pass. Strike while the iron is hot here but do not also set aside something that is for long term.

If you have some experience in bitcoin, maybe you can earn more than 15$  a day, bigger than your daily income. But it isn't recommend for you to quit your job. You should focus your bitcoin earning in  spare time as bitcoin doesn't required much time. Hope you make right decision and have a good life!

if you felt bitcoin could makes you rich and your earning in bitcoin is more bigger rather than your salary maybe that's fine if you're more focus for bitcoin but if i may to suggest you that focus all of the way how to earn money even it's your actual jobs in the real life and earning bitcoin because if you combine both of them i think you could more richer faster

Yes indeed with bitcoin we can get a big income, even can be bigger than job. I personally do not need to get out of job just to focus more on bitcoins. Because I think it would be better to focus on both. With a focus on both we can earn income from 2 places, and of course this will be more profitable. We will earn more money if we do this.

I think it is not necessary, bitcoin does not require too much of your time, you should complete the work well in your life, then, turn bitcoin into a source of income in your spare time.
