What are the chances this passes? Will every democrat be on board? https://www.cbsnews.com/news/biden-gun-control-parkland-school-shooting-anniversary/

America has a gun problem clearly because for whatever reason, it has almost become normal to hear stories about a kid going into a school and massacring his fellow classmates. I don't think banning guns will solve this. A mental health crisis is a mental health crisis, not a gun crisis. Regardless, "assault weapons" is too general of a term. Do you define them by the length of a barrel, magazine size, bullet velocity, bullet caliber? I don't really care if it were to pass, I just don't think this will fix the issue.

There are pros and cons in implementing a strict gun restrictions, and pros are way above the cons as different countries who have far more lower mortality rate with gunshots have proven this statistically. After the implementation, the effects can't be seen as people will now start to adopt the new system, newborns learning that guns are unnecessary, while old madlads will protest on how they have been betrayed from their rights.

The UK is a comparable example that I've seen but the issue is more complicated than that because of how much mental illness is prevalent in the US combined with the already 300 million guns floating around. You ban assault weapons which don't make up a large percentage of gun deaths. Most gun deaths are from suicide if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not a big fan of trying something new and waiting around to see if there is any noticeable effect as a result from the policy.

This is raw sewage.

Tash, how do you keep getting tricked into eating turds?

Somebody covers a turd with a few sprinkles of QAnon-inspired fear porn, and you wolf it down, at least twice a week for the last half year.

So what I wanna know is, what's wrong with you?

Have you ever heard of the "smell test"? You might want to learn what that is before accidentally ingesting any more fecal material.

I'd love to know what's really going on in their head. (tash/mindtrust/badecker/tzup)

I think it's most likely they realize they were duped and at some point over the past several weeks transitioned from making claims they believed were true to spite trolling.

Maybe badecker belongs in a separate category.

Tons of people are like this out in the world, they’ll literally find anything (LITERALLY ANY SOURCE AT ALL) to support what they want to be true. It doesn’t really matter if it doesn’t sound that legitimate, or if the source is random blog spam or a random youtube page or whatever.

I’ve literally seen people on Facebook quote Pro Trump news from...... WeLoveDonaldTrump.com (or something along those lines don’t quote me on that exactly)

Some people will get out of this loop at somepoint, but it’s hard to do when you’ll latch on to anything to convince yourself that you’re right and smarter then everyone else.

What is Biden a president of? A certain corporation called the United States, of which there are several in America. He isn't president of the Republic called The United Sates of America.

Whatever you need to tell yourself... even if you need to proclaim yourself the president of some imaginary parallel universe that's perfectly fine. Just don't go storming government buildings based on your delusions.

You should probably check into what's really going on around you. The US is a corporation that doesn't really control anything... provided, of course, that the things don't want to be controlled by it.

The new bill, below, doesn't do anything new. All it does is make things easier. The 10th Amendment shows us that the States don't have to agree with Presidential Executive Orders.

New bill allows state to ignore Joe Biden's executive orders

Lawmakers in North Dakota -- where consumers can sue Big Tech and a judge recently exempted religious physicians from doing Obamacare "sex change" operations -- are proposing a law allowing the state to ignore presidential executive orders if they don't meet constitutional muster.

House Bill 1164, introduced for the 2021 session, says the "legislative management may review any executive order issued by the president of the United States which has not been affirmed by a vote of the Congress of the United States and signed into law as prescribed by the Constitution of the United States and recommend to the attorney general and the governor that the executive order be further reviewed."

It also allows for a review of an executive order by the attorney general "to determine the constitutionality of the order and whether the state should seek an exemption from the application of the order or seek to have the order declared to be an unconstitutional exercise of legislative authority by the president."

Ok, so you agree Biden won the election.  Finally.

Cool

Everybody wins things in life. This means that Biden won something. He might have even won a presidency of sorts. But he isn't my president. After all, even the things that the rulers of other major countries in the world do, happen to affect all our lives in some ways.

What is Biden a president of? A certain corporation called the United States, of which there are several in America. He isn't president of the Republic called The United Sates of America.

Anybody who supports a pandemic idea for a non-isolated virus is a criminal. In this case his name is Joseph Biden. But if you accept him long enough, it will become more like Joseph Stalin for you.

This isn't over.

Joe and Jill Biden get BOOED by Super Bowl fans --

* President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden appeared on the videoboard at Raymond James Stadium before the Super Bowl LV to thank healthcare workers
* During their video message, the Bidens called for a moment of silence for the more than 463,000 lives that have been lost during the pandemic
* Instead of a moment of silence, several fans at the stadium were heard booing
* The lack of silence prompted some Americans watching from home to take to Twitter to respond to the incident

Moments before Super Bowl LV kicked off Sunday night, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden made a pre-recorded appearance to honor the more than 463,000 people who have died from COVID-19 by asking for a moment of silence -  instead they were booed by some of the crowd.

'Before kickoff we wanted to thank all the frontline healthcare heroes both at the game and watching across the country. You put yourself at risk to keep the rest of us safe. You and your families carried us through this year with courage, compassion and kindness. We couldn't have made it without you. With all our hearts thank you.

The president said: 'Now as we thank you and all of our essential workers, let's remember we all can do our part to save lives. Wear masks, stay socially-distanced, get tested, get vaccinated when it's your turn, and most of all let's remember all those who we've lost.

When you fake a win like Biden's, don't stop. Not only beat your enemies, but squash them, and pulverize them. That's not the American way, but Biden's people are doing it, anyway.

Proof That the US November Election Was Stolen Exists in Abundance

In Michigan the state attorney general is attempting to debar attorneys who represented cases of electoral theft. Massive effort was made—including an orchestrated "storming of the Capitol"—to insure that the evidence would not be presented and that the majority of the population would never encounter the evidence.  The presstitutes from the first instance declared continuously with one voice "there was no vote fraud," "baseless claims of vote fraud," and the old standby "conspiracy theory."

Obviously, if there was no fraud, there would have been no danger in examining "baseless claims."  Their baselessness could simply have been demonstrated.  If the claims of electoral fraud are baseless, there was no need to spilt the country and to cause half of the voting population to distrust the public institutions that are supposed to uphold election integrity.

Even without hard evidence of a stolen election, it is obvious that Trump did not lose to Biden who inspired no enthusiasm and whose campaign events had to be halted due to non-attendance. How did Trump lose the election when on December 29, after two months of his heightened demonization following the November 2020 election, he won the annual Gallup survey as America's most admired person, ending Obama's 12-year run. According to the official vote count, Trump received 11 million more votes in 2020 than the number he won in 2016 and three times the black support. In 2020 Trump received 8 million more votes than Obama received in 2012 and Hillary received in 2016.  It is not possible that this extraordinary performance is a losing one.  And this is his official vote count, not his suppressed actual vote.

Even TIME Magazine, without really trying to make waves, can't help be amazed at the criminal activity that went on to get Biden in.

The TIME Magazine Election Exposé is STUNNING

Viva Frei does an excellent job of reading between the lines of this TIME Magazine report and explains the effort put out by the left, by any means necessary, to get Joe Biden elected. This is an extremely important video to watch.

Those familiar with the neo-Marxist Herbert Marcuse of the Frankfurt School will recognize the left's methodology here is right out of his essay, "Repressed Tolerance," which rejects tolerance for others' views but demands tolerance for his views.

All this is telling us is that Biden doesn't really know how to do it right.

Cool

So let me be sure I get what you're saying here...there is a correct way to rape someone, and that correct way is not getting caught? That's pretty dark...

I first knew BADecker was a psychopath when hours after a white supremacist opened fire at a garlic festival, killing 4 people and injuring 17 others, he started a thread saying basically "LOOK WHAT LIBERALISM DID!" He has no ability to feel remorse or empathy for others, and there's no real reason not to have him on ignore.

Okay, so you like being raped by presidents.      Huh

On the note of "accusers"...

Maybe the only satisfactory part of Hillary Clinton was the fact she had no rape allegations against her. Of course she's a woman and all, but Joe Biden and Trump have accusations under their belt.

See Tara Reade's interview where she claims Joe Biden sexually assaulted her while she worked at his office: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HeZiKvOA0o

And obviously, Trump's list is a bit longer - https://www.businessinsider.com/women-accused-trump-sexual-misconduct-list-2017-12

No one's offered any proof though.

Let me give Biden credit, shocking I know, but when it comes to rape allegations, the burden of proof lies on the accuser. Tara Reade hasn't provided any concrete proof. So I'm not going to throw Biden under the bus quite yet.

That was nice of Kevin McCarthy to offer to not call for Liz Cheneys resignation or something (the #3 Republican who voted to impeach Trump) in exchange for letting Qanon Marge keep a seat on a committee.  But those evil democrats said no deal.

Pretty sure that’s the way of ensuring that the establishment side of the party is OKAY and that the party isn’t going to turn on them in favor of being the party of Trump.

I think one of the reasons as well is that the party didn’t have a direct whip on the Trump impeachment. McCarthy (or whoever the whip is who makes this decision) decided that they were going to allow people to vote their conscious on the Trump impeachment stuff. Not sure how many people actually did that, but that gave people the leeway in tough districts to vote differently on Trump.
