Of course we all want him to be right. And his prediction of 500k is actually looking a bit more plausible after the recent run that we've had up to $10k+, even though i wouldn't bet my own manhood on the subject.

Now that he's doubled it, he's just really putting a lot of pressure on himself to redeem his promises if it does go wrong.

100x prices have never been seen before, if it does happen it's a huge ass bubble, or a financial collapse of some sort. I'm happy with even just 1/10th of that price honestly.

Even if he believes in it, I think making this kind of wager is extreme. There are multiple other ways to emphasize your confidence.
$1 Million does look extreme. He has revised his prediction of $500K by 2020 to $1 million by 2020. And he has done this based on Bitcoin's strong rally in 2017.

It is obvious that he does not intend to fulfill his promise to eat his dick, that is just a metaphor the same way some people say they will eat their hats if something does not go their way, we should take this as what it is an attempt to bring attention to bitcoin and to make the general public even more bullish, I'm sure that many people around the forum will be happy if bitcoin reached 50k by 2020.

Although most people don't believe if bitcoin can reach $1 Million in 2020, he won't eat his dick at all, it's obvious.
And McAfee has brought the new hope for bitcoiners to keep holding bitcoin and even encourage to buy more bitcoin at this price.
Honestly, I believe in bitcoin, it will reach $100,000 for sure, but $1 Million? Only time will reveal the truth
Usually, I always sell a small amount of bitcoin, a fraction, at higher price, if bitcoin reach the peak. But, after read McAfee prediction about bitcoin, I don't want to sell my bitcoin anymore. Grin

McAfee''s comments should be taken seriously as most of the experts are seeing his comments as a comment from somebody that knows very well about Internet security and things that are going on in the back end. I do believe that this discovery is so important that the world leaders are see it as a threat to their way of running government. $1,000,000 at 2020 will be nice for us that depends on bitcoin for our financial advancement.

Like others I do hope he is spot on. I am sure if it were to come true many such holders right now will be jumping in joy when that time comes. Even if he is pro bitcoin, I still don't like his betting to eat his own dick for the sake of prediction, it is too much IMO. He should have had bet other things on the line for his speculation or don't bet at all. No one is asking him to bet anything, he should have had leave it to the readers whether they will believe him or not.

I know for most of us it sounds crazy but in $11.500 by the end of this year sounded pretty crazy for most people on this forum back in July. People would have been quite happy if price had been just $5.000 by now.

We will be just coming out of a bear market around the halving of 2020, so not in moontrain mode to get $1m in that year. $1m will happen, but I doubt by 2020. That's another 100x from here. Just not quite seeing it yet.

On national TV, McAfee is really determined with his belief I hope that he's still alive on 2020 and see if that will happen for real. $500,000 is already too high for everyone and he's predicting that much at $1,000,000. Still things that are crazy can go into reality and reality can go into legendary and part of history. I'm following his prediction and I hope this will be in reality soon.

I think the bet he made is too insane. 1million $ by the end of 2020? I think that is too much and too fast growth. I think that by the end of it bitcoin would be at least 100,000$ but not more than 500,000$. That being said, I think he is gonna eat his own dick after 2020 ends. If for some reason there is a factor making him that confident about his prediction, then it is good I too am hoping to see bitcoin reach those price ranges.
