This old fart again.What he's spouting in twitter is all for his self-benefit, this one tweet clearly is an attempt of him to lure people into using alts therefore stimulating the influx of capital to the alts specifically that he's shilling for knowing that at the moment alts is being supressed by bitcoin dominance, unfortunately some people out there are still believing what this old delusional man is saying.
If what determines a good coins are those gimmicky features like dapps, smart contract or whatever which actually has no real use case in real life, every newborn altcoins would dominate the market but no, that's not how it works.

He doesn't need to be heard. He don't have his words with him, remember about the promise about eating his tool but what now? after realizing that the price is too far from his prediction and now, he states that it's not going to happen anymore. I agree that we should stop paying attention to him anymore. Before, I'm giving him my attention because I've seen him as a bitcoin supporter and enthusiasts but from time to time, it had changed and things are getting worse for every statement that he gives.

Is he someone important for cryptocurrencies? I don't think so.

To me John is not even an Internet celebrity. He has some money but he's not a millionaire. He's also not someone whose advice you'd follow or tell your friends to follow. He's a businessman but there are millions of people like him around the world. Would you care if the owner of your local pub told you that Bitcoin is worthless? I wouldn't and I don't care about McAfee's opinion.

There should be nothing to worry about here. John would say whatever he likes to say though and as a matter of fact, he seemed to be sincere about all of the negativity that he spreads about bitcoin. I've been hodling bitcoin since early 2017 and had already profited a lot from it, even so, I am still open about the idea of something else that will take over it. In my honest opinion, BCH, XRP, and LTC serve the purpose better than BTC. Be that as it may, BTC might not be a shit coin after all.

I really don’t want to hear news about those guys and ever since I came into this market, they all have their own claims about bitcoin but of course I don’t listen to them. Bitcoin is not a shitcoin, it is already proven by the supporters  and its good to share this one to tell people that John is lying and trying to mess with us, bitcoin is the best and for sure John will regret what he said to bitcoin.

And so what? I don't understand why people get upset because of some silly statement of some so called Bitcoin expert. That what McAfee thinks about Bitcoin doesn't influence it in any way and it isn't important for community. So just stop following such news and such people, they are not important in Bitcoin world.

CWS, Ver, McAfee - can we just stop making news out of these people's tweets and statements? Who cares what they think, they don't decide anything in Bitcoin's ecosystem, they can only influence their shitcoins, because they have created them as a tool for their pump and dump schemes. You only help them maintain their popularity even if you report only negative news about them.

This is a man who didn't even know BTC has had a previous halving.

His living has been accepting large amounts of money to talk about whatever shitcoin paid him that week. He has achieved literally nothing in cryptoland. My bum has more credibility. And better hair.

What an idiot. I guess we can guess who is paying him to make those lies. The nerve to say Bitcoin has no security, heh. I hope he moves all his fortune to the altcoin foundation or group that is probably paying him to make those lies, but knowing him, he probably doesn't even own any crypto anyway.

It seems you can pay him to make it say literally anything. It is a mystery why people keep paying attention to him.

I don't care what this guy thinks in the best of times and I certainly am not paying him any mind with this statement.

I would also point out that the market disagrees with McAfee, as it's giving a very high valuation to bitcoin and a much lesser one to coins like ETH that do have the smart contract capability and so forth. 

"Shitcoin" is a very subjective term, and I'm sure if you asked 100 crypto geeks what one is you'd get 101 different answers--but I don't think bitcoin or ETH are shitcoins, and they can coexist very peacefully.  There are so many coins out there, and there's no need to be militantly opposed to any of them.  Everybody has got their favorites, and personally I'm fine with that.  Just tune out comments like McAfee's and you'll sleep better at night.

We should stop giving stage to paid promoters like John. He used to get paid to pump shitcoins and made a lot of money on other people's gullibility and misfortune.
Is he really a face of crypto? Should he be?

What did he do since he joined the scene? Started as a Bitcoin believer, made some predictions that did not come true, gave some strange interviews while drinking and smoking, looking stoned and having boduguards with him. Got famous in the internet when he promised to eat his dick, then started selling himself to any shitcoin dev that was ready to throw serious money at him. Had to run and hide from the government because he doesn't like paying taxes. Probably liked Bitcoin so much because it allowed him to launder his money, avoid taxes and buy coke on deep web, but then he found even more anonymous altcoins, so now Bitcoin is bad and altcoins are good...

And let's not forget about his dick. He's not going to eat it because it was all a lie to pump Bitcoin - that's what he said! If he starts talking about some great altcoin projects in future you'll know what to stay away from.

John McAfee, who once anticipated that bitcoin would reach $1 million before the current year's over, has been bashing the main digital money. As per McAfee, bitcoin is a shitcoin.
Based on the progression of his tweets, John bashed bitcoin as he tweeted " “Bitcoin – Old, clunky, no security, no smart contracts, no Dapps – is the true shitcoin.” Although John compliments altcoin and said that we all realize that the fate of crypto rests with the altcoins.



It looks like McAfee contradicts his own statements which prove that he can't even stand for his own words and that makes him a liar. He keeps on insisting that his prediction is going to happen and he even claimed that he's going to eat his own dick on national television if bitcoin won't hit 1 million USD by the end of the year 2020.

John McAfee's prediction isn't deserving of trust since it's clear that he can't even fulfill his promise. It just makes me wonder why he concludes that bitcoin is a shitcoin in spite of it being beneficial and profitable for the past few years. It has given us opportunities to improve our lives that's why it is unreasonably difficult for me to analyze his statements. I mean it's a top one cryptocurrency, it had gain so much trust and reputation. It even overcomes various challenges and problems then now bitcoin is now accepted and adopted by different countries, it was also supported by some government. In the current status of the market, bitcoin is slowly increasing and it might even end up on another bull run. Personally, I think bitcoin isn't a shitcoin, it's one of the most valuable assets that we can have.
