Anyway, people are free to share their opinions just let them not get to you, brush it off and move on. This should not be given the attention that we are giving it, let's focus much more on the developments of Lightning network and how it would improve upon the scalability of bitcoin.

Anybody who believes anything he says, or considers him to be some kind of industry expert should think again, because he's so out of touch with things it's insane.

Sure, smart contracts are ideal, but BTC is designed to be a transactional unit, not god damn gas for a smart contract platform—it's not ether!

With that said, there are plans to expand its smart contract functionality, and various side chains add smart contract functionality to BTC. Also, how on earth is he saying is has no security? it has the most proof-of-work of any blockchain in existence and is practically unhackable now.

I do agree it's clunky, but with the advent of lightning and other off-chain scaling solutions, Bitcoin will fullfill its purpose just fine.

Cash money has no functionality other than a store of value and a unit of transaction—and look how well that did!

Ah well, at least the useful purpose he is serving right now is as counter indicator. Him being bullish on Bitcoin yielded absolutely nothing, so him turning bearish is what I consider bullish.

In the end, it shouldn't come as a surprise that when people become broke or make some poor investment decisions where they have few Bitcoins left, they become a shitcoiner hoping that their bags will pump hard and make up for the losses suffered. You can't go back in time to buy Bitcoin at $500-$1000 but you can hope that your cheap shitcoins pump to the moon.

Probably, he's being payed by an altcoin sponsor or altcoin supporter just to discredit bitcoin and put it down. But intelligent and wise minds will never believe without proof and ignore those negativity about a certain thing. Bitcoin is the most used cryptocurrency in the world, with that, there's no way bitcoin is a shitcoin. Altcoins are the real shitcoin because it is just an alternative and temporary coin for bitcoin. Well it doesn't even matter what his statements are. The crypto market is vast you can pick your favorites, the only difference is which of those will be adopted and survive.

That is why we need to understand the essence of not speaking in final. Most of the time, we predict and speculate about things that we are proud and sure of, but it not always turns to be true since many outside factors could affect the market. I my self is with John McAfee when he claims about these speculation before, the reason is because the hypes he's creating do really affects somehow to the demand of people to bitcoin, though, the negative effects is when his speculation proved to not be true, people might lose interest to bitcoin.
