Don't know about that one but I much like the concept beyond FireLotto, and really hope they take off in the coming months. Gotta say it though it doesn't make a ton of difference but having a smart contract execute a lottery is kind of exciting because we are doing it on the blockchain. Kinda mixed feelings about whether it is good or necessary, but a fun idea nonetheless.
Did you join at this FireLotto?

It shouldnt be a problem to participate in blockchain lotterys but you should not invest money if you are unsure about the success of the project. But as long as you are not investing money, everything should be fine.

Now that I come across this thread, I think I recall seeing a number of lottery based ICOs around. Makes me wonder how do projects launch? Some guy sees an interesting idea and tries it, and everyone else tried to compete? I recall firelotto, which is live already.

Lotteries are okay. Gotta convince all those retired people who are the lottery demographics to move on to crypto. But they all want to play for millions in Jackpot though, so they don't really buy the "transparency" benefits for small jackpots.

playing the lottery is just idiotic.  The odds are against you, anyone with a brain wouldn't spend money on this.

There is no doubt lottery is one of the usecase of Blockchains, but with all the lottery projects that I know have done their ICO none of them has gain significant traction, I don't know what they spend their ICO fund on but I think they need to spend more on marketing to be able to attract significant number of users

Personally I wouldn't get in any of this after all I'm not a big fan of gambling. Maybe because I always felt like an unlucky individual. As long as it's not some big sum it wouldn't hurt much to join but again, not for me.

Come on , how many times did you win at regular lottery?

Exactly. Crypto investing is kinda a lottery in itself, but much better. Why would you gamble away those nice coins using a lottery? Bad idea. Better to hodl.

Hi everyone! Found some info  about LuckyToken lottery on Fb. They have a big draw now.
What do you think about this lottery?
Mb someone have any experience in similar ICO?

In the past 2 year, i am one who is a fans of Gambling/Lottery ICO
But after few gambling ICO, i can tell you although they can make good gambling product. But if you are looking to make ROI thru the ICO flip, it is not advise-able.
Unless you uses the product/platform, else its not really performing well
Did you win somethink in that gambling ICO?

Absolutely, too many investors win.
Investors have made a lot of money in almost all the icos that hit the market. There is no interest in betting and gambling as it is now. Investors are now more interested in areas related to technological developments Smiley

You think  Gambling/lottery icos interest just a huge investors? What about tipical lottery players who wants to play onece and forget? These people like a many little  investors

I just checked the website, and it opened their Wordpress login page.
I don't trust icos or some that are built on Wordpress, and it just go their login page? Come on man, don't waste your money.
