I think you just answered your question. It's long-term. And it's typically going to be profitable the longer you hold it. Some influencers do have a belief in Bitcoin, especially if their niche is somewhat inclined to technology. As long as people are holding, I think it's worth saving as well. If you have extra money, then why not just invest more. No cashing out until you don't need it yet. I think that's the best strategy.

I'm not sure they will invest for the long term, in the end, they invest to get profit, and if bitcoin goes River $100k in the next months, a lot of people will sell. Is important to remember the high risk behind bitcoin and altcoins, they can grow on a crazy way, but at the same time, they can have some hard crashes. Just imagine what would happen if someone decides to sell 100,000 BTC, That would make a deep hole in the price, and will be hard for the markets to recover.

There are some companies that say they will do it in the long run but we don't know because they (big companies) are just like us. they want the same large profits we expect. it could be that when they get the most out of it they will quit, we don't know that.
but it would be great if they buy bitcoin because I really want that too

seeing top influencers buying into bitcoin and some going public to talk about shows bitcoin is a step ahead in the expected direction. everyone is probably buying and holding to sell at a higher price later. just curious to know how long these guys will hold bitcoin and what price they will likely sell ? is it even possible to know their mind ? but i am sure they are in for long term. what do you feel about this. ?

These big-time companies and those people who are known with their own millions of people on their page are truly unpredictable. you never know when they will gonna move whether they sold it at once or sold half of their holdings. This is how it goes when it comes to their own point of view and most of them are capable to lost their investment so it doesn't really matter to them. The only one who will gonna get the bad luck is those who don't want to study the way to invest and the do's and don't when it comes to bitcoins because the only one who can give you the earning you like is no other than yourself.

Since being accepted by companies, investment funds, and banks, Bitcoin has increased in value significantly. It also means that the need for people to come to Bitcoin will be more frequent. I don't worry much about them going to sell because that's what will happen. They will sell Bitcoin and buy back at a lower price. So don't worry, there are many big companies buying Bitcoin in recent times so Bitcoin won't drop in price anytime soon. I am waiting for Bitcoin to reach $ 100k to sell some of my Bitcoin.

The biggest influencers like Elon Musk have already so much in wealth that they don't really need to invest in bitcoins and stuffs to make a "profit", I think these influencers are there just for getting the kick and be involved with the growing technology. They don't need the money and profits, they want their name to be plastered as they know these technology will go in the long run!
I'm not sure we can call Elon Musk just an influencer though. He definitely has a little more success in related fields. For example, he was the co founder of Paypal, which although isn't a cryptocurrency is definitely somewhat related being in the financial sector. I don't think Elon gets a kick out of being invested in Bitcoin. The guy probably has a million ideas that he would like to convert into businesses, and for him money is always needed. Especially since Tesla probably bought the most share in Bitcoin, compared to him individually. So, he's probably going to be reinvesting the profits made into Tesla. I imagine, that SpaceX would also benefit from this investment, which quite frankly needs all the investment that it can.

One thing is for sure: they will be using their media reach to try to influence the market, just like what Elon does. So, the fact that they make you curious means their strategy is working. I honestly believe there's no definite way to tell where the price is exactly going because it's the result of a collective decision. And since each trader's decision is based on unique situations, it's almost impossible to create a program that accurately predicts trends. So, what these influencers do instead since they cannot really come up with a fool-proof price movement indicator is get people to go with them in their desired direction via other media channels like social media. Don't try to find out what they're thinking because you can't. Look for the most influential among them and wait for their update. The rest looks up to them, too, so chances are they will just mirror their action.

We can't figure out on when does the influencer sell their coin since we don't know their tolerance level towards seeing those dumps in the market, if they are knowledgeable maybe they will seek more ups and buying more when dip happens.

But actually I'm happy to see them promiting since for tgis their followers might get attracted to join on bitcoins growth.

So basically it's someone who has no idea what their taking about, but because of their skils tits people want to have whatever they have?

If it wasn't obvious yet: I don't like "social media" and all weird stuff they come up with.
Seriously, its actually getting annoying to see them spout nonsense, that they clearly don't understand, and haven't even given it a second thought about researching what they are promoting. I guess that's the way of the world with social media, get famous people with a large following, and promote something that's not even relevant to their audience.

I do feel there are some "infulencers" which are promoting it off their own back, because they've personally invested in it, but even then this should probably be considered market manipulation, and its them trying to benefit their investment rather than actually believing in it.

I would say let's talk about it when we see the price going to $100k. It would be the biggest psychological barrier, and we knows, maybe they are going to be tempted to sell at that price.

Not just those big whales and institutions but even average joe like us will likely feel for this mentality. After all we're here to make profits right? And for sure most of us are going to sell at some point and it will be around 6 digits mark.

I have seen some videos on youtube that whales or big companies are buying it for long-term purposes and hold it as long as it take for them to make profit in the future of bitcoin. They intend to do it because they don't wanna stress out tracking the market from time to time that's why they really a hodlers.

Influencer marketing is when a brand enrolls influencers who have an established credibility and audience on social media platforms to discuss or mention the brand in a social media post.

The only way to find out what some of them intend to do is to ask them - but generally most have invested in Bitcoin exclusively because they believe it is an investment that will result in a good profit. The question is, of course, what someone means by "good profit", because there are people who will be happy with 25%, but most still aim for much more - which would mean that those who invest in recent months are probably waiting for a magical $100 000 as a sell signal.

Cryptocurrencies are currently something that many see as a way to try to get rich, but we still know that not everyone will succeed - not everyone can be a good trader, but not everyone can be their own bank either.

I guess you could know that by what they are buying bitcoins for. Is it For long-term business, to hold long-term, to make money from price volatility, to control the price, for show off, etc. This will probably give you an idea how volatile the market will be.
