Sorry to see just-dice go. Regulation is killing bitcoin. Have not read the new laws yet, will do soon. Let's see if it is a matter of tax or licence...
Well I'm sad to see them go (even if it is temporary), hopefully they'll find a way to reopen. Just-dice was a pretty good place to invest, small reliable gains. That being said even if they do reopen much of the market might have shifted to other dice site operators (in all probability Primedice).
primedice doesn't accept investments from what i've seen.. maybe stunna will change his mind.

Have received many PM's & emails regarding whether PrimeDice will take investments now that JD is down. Our answer still remains no as we see no need to split profits through a shared bank roll as ours is more than sufficient.
What I'm concerned about however is ex-JD investors trying to invest in other dice sites which will surely be popping up over the next few days in an attempt to take the missing market share. PLEASE DO SO WITH EXTREME CAUTION! Do not trust people unless that trust is well and truly deserved. Despite me saying this people are still going to invest in these new sites & lose their money. Proud to be Canadian :OSad to see this; been with JD since day one... Hopefully they can work something out. If not, I'd be interested to see where the users of JD will migrate to... Primedice?
Good times are gone, you will be able to make it legal for few months but then laws will change again. Anyways those gambling sites aren't helping to comunity, so they better shut them down all or request taxes from investors, from players and others.
Bummer deal. I wonder how many of these types of sites are going to be getting shutdown between now and the end of the year as well. Doesn't bode well for gambling sites it appears.
Douglus taking precaution, it is better for their future after new law in Canada, they are just searching all possiblities they can run site or not with their lawyer.
I was unaware of the latest news of Just-dice stopping their operations, I accidentally sent a payment to the deposit address. What are the consequences going to be??

Of course, withdrawals are being processed as normal. doog is moving coins from cold storage and into the hot wallet, which is getting depleted just as quick!

I wonder what they have planned for the future here? They didn't say too much about investments but I am assuming they are allowing people to withdraw from those ?

I know i'll be sad as well if they have to close. But I'm sure once they get everything figure out regarding jurisdiction, everything will be back online.
