I was using the formula you made before.

1 / (0.12 ** 7) = ?

The whole sequence of 7 losses is very unlikely.  But now that we know you lost the first 6, the 7th isn't especially unlikely.  It happens about 13% of the time.

Shhh!! Let him gamble the 11BTC

There is a 1 in 2 million chance I will lose this 7th bet, which means there is a higher than 99.999959260018% chance that I will win 1.12784653x of the bet amount.

Now that's not really true is it...

If you toss a fair coin 9 times and it comes up heads 9 times, there's not a 1-in-1024 chance that it lands heads the 10th time.  It's 50/50, just like it was for the other 9 tosses.

It's 1-in-1024 that you get 10 heads, but once you've seen the first 9 heads, the 10th is still 50/50.

A few things about this:

1. This is 6 losses in a row on 87%. Had it been set to 90%, all bets would have lost too.
2. The odds of a 6 loss streak at this chance to win is 1 in 300,002.59
3. My total bets is 900,000. I should have lost it 3 times, on average.
4. The odds of a 7 loss streak at this chance to win is 1 in 2,454,591.19
5. I'd need 11.41 BTC to attempt the 7th bet.

Who wants to bet that I won't lose the 7th bet? I could bet zero and find out. But I think I'll sit on it awhile and see if there are gamblers out there who want to put money into this.

My just-dice deposit address is 15mVXFwoVZNh9HyoAvv4zBUfYoS2ktx2pP or if you have inputs.io
https://inputs.io/pay?to=just-dice.com&amount=¬e=15

Kindly PM me if you send anything. I will wait until the balance reaches 11.41 BTC before doing anything.

P.S. 1 BTC = 79 USD.

P.P.S. If you are a whale, you can send me more than 11.41 BTC and I will bet it all for you. There is a 1 in 2 million chance I will lose this 7th bet, which means there is a higher than 99.999959260018% chance that I will win 1.12784653x of the bet amount.

A 600 BTC bet should profit 76.7 BTC, and we beat the previous record of 561 BTC.

Any takers? heheh.

*Edit* 7th Bet Done. Wait for a new opportunity to do another 7th bet or 8th bet. hehe

When you type start(), the console will print the value returned by the function, but my function doesn't return anything, it just start the bot. After executing start() go to "My Bets" on the site and you will see the bot betting automatically.

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, as I said before, after I typed "start()", the console's response was "undefined", and no action appeared under "My Bets".

The console throw up "connection errors" more or less immediately after I pressed F12. This seems to be the "problem" in the first place.

Any advise on this?

Are you aware that the script in post #152 is outdated?  Just-dice uses a CSRF token now.  Search dice.js for socket.emit("bet" and perhaps you'll find the answer.

Hi, I tried to run a script (at post #152) but failed. Can someone help?

OS: Windows XP
Chrome

I pressed F12, then immediately face with the following error:

Quote
Port error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist.
chromeHidden.Port.dispatchOnDisconnect

and on the left hand side

Quote
extensions/miscellaneous_bindings.js:146

Regardless of the above, I pasted the script and pressed enter. I then get the following:

Quote
c
$events: Object
ackPackets: 0
acks: Object
flags: Object
json: d
name: ""
socket: d
__proto__: c

I then typed "start()", and the console returned "undefined".

I am at a lost as I have never used a script in the browser before.

Any advise would be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

just a quick question regarding this whole 2FA thing, how can I temporary disable it and then re-enable it on the site?! Huh it seems that once it turns on you can't turn it off!!! also there is no option to see your secret keys ? the reason I'm asking is because i have lost the back codes for my account. i guess my last resort is just to open a new account if i can't get the key Roll Eyes  thanks for any of help  Wink

Seeing the code makes it useless because when someone steals your cookie he can see your code and then "only" needs to steal your password as well.
What I have done: Write down the GAuth secret and save it somewhere (I had the problem that I never could log in at home since I did not have the phone that I have GAuth on it with me) and then put the same token in all your devices. Also http://gauth.apps.gbraad.nl

And the major problem with the iOS GAuth app is indeed that it does not show the tokens and I cba to see if it saves them encrypted (my iOS device is jailbroken so I could just open the sandboxed data).

Also the verifying with a signed message from a deposit address is bad.
First many people beg for a bitcent and regularly get it. As deposit address they give the JD address. -> Accountthief can just sign a message with his legitimate private key.
Second, when you are logged in already you can see the deposit address -> Same as above.

Everytime justdice is down I get so excited Cheesy I bet doog is doing something awesome with it Cheesy

I was sleeping...  That's something awesome, but not related to the site.

I'm wondering what to do when people contact support with things like:

Quote
i reset my phone and lost my 2 factor apps and the account, can you reset my 2 factor security setting?

If I reset two-factor-auth codes, what use is two-factor-auth?

I can ask him to sign the address he deposited from, but a hacker in his computer could maybe do that.

Imagine you lost your phone.  How would you prove you were you?

Then imagine your account got hacked.  Would the hacker be able to make the same proof?
If people have 2FA on their email account (if you use 2FA, you should do that), then they can print offline codes for their email 2FA part.
