Hello,

I just started checking out your pool, so sorry for my newbie question, I could not find an answer elsewhere yet.  Grin

For security reasons some ports are completely blocked in the Datacenter I'm migrating my machines to, so I pointed the ASIC Link (ANTMiner) to port 443 instead and it still seems to work with the 2 machines I just tested. In the guide it says it "won't work properly with any other port" (ASIC), so are there any possible drawbacks using the https-port as a workaround?

It is possible to unblock the advised port, but it will take some time and hassle...

Thank you!

Any of the ports can be used if they work for you; 3333, 80, 81, 443, or 8080. Grin

Diff increased to 318G about an hour ago.  Sad

Yes the basic connection is
stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333

If you are connecting directly to the pool and use another port other than 3333, you use the connections as specified on the web site.
Quote
stratum+tcp://stratum80.kano.is:80
stratum+tcp://stratum81.kano.is:81
stratum+tcp://stratum443.kano.is:443
stratum+tcp://stratum8080.kano.is:8080

If you connect to a node, then yes you simply change the port number on the end.

Block! by Rdawg with 587.33THs. Second block today!  Cheesy Cheesy
S9v1

Another (6) R4 coming online tomorrow. These things are nice and quiet. Any advise with them are much welcome. Running (2) R4 with this one PSU Kit http://www.parallelminer.com/product/2400watt-200v240v-power-supply-kit-for-2-antminer-r4-platinum-94-efficiency/
Nice, I'm planning to get a few more R4's and add them to this pool as well.
FYI - in case that PSU fails, here is a link for a new one for only $39
Looks like parallelminer.com charges an extra $90 for the boards & cords.

Nice ~  Thanks for the link

As I've said a few times, I run luck reports daily or more often regarding all sorts of info on the pool ...
That's part of my job to protect the miners Tongue

Yes my apologies ive read before you keep reports Wink

So does it actually say which version of BMminer it uses somewhere on the info you get or do you work it out based on some sort of code you receive from the network?
I could tell you, but then I'd have to send a hitman over to keep the secret Smiley

Cheesy Cheesy  ok ill stop asking Wink

schmokeandapancake with this one. Another S9. Anyone know what version of BMminer?
Only I know Smiley

So are you keeping a record of how many of each version find a block? Also what info do you receive that tells you its v1 or 2?

You don't have to say of course, im just curious by nature Smiley
