I don't think we're going to see $1K+ spot, or higher, anytime soon. I actually hope we don't, because that sort of spike has always resulted in an ensuing crash that usually takes it back below where it was initially (read as below $600). Steady climb, or even relative stability (which is what we're seeing now) is good.
That said...I also don't see BiteMe maintaining those prices for long. Sure, and there's a bunch of us here that bought numbers of S9s at $2K, but now that the hard reality of the halving is taking hold on a number of those folks, the most likely scenario is that S9 sales at the current prices will tank. BM isn't dumb (although sometimes we are led to wonder) and will drop the price when they see the volume drop...which is probably right about now. S7s were over $1K when they came out. Now they're $440, and it's only been a few weeks since the S9 came on the scene. I'll wait a bit.
