I gotta say that I love this pool!  I just started mining here about 10 days ago and I love the group.  I just purchased 3 more S7's @ $300 each and will be adding them to the pool very soon, and as soon as another batch of S9's come out, those as well.

Welcome to Kano CKPool!  Were these used S7's or new S7-LN's?

They are B8 used S7's.  The Hash/$ is 3x greater than the S9 right now and my power is a sunk cost, so it makes sense for me.  I purchased the APW3-12-1600 PSU's with them for an extra $100 each, which I will then use on S9's.

We need 4-5 blocks on daily average to get back to "biz as usual".

The lower table on the blocks page (i.e. not the stats at the top) shows the last 999 'attempted blocks'
999 is a number I set in ckdb, that I set back on the 8th of October.

Obviously it's not ideal to set it to ∞ since at some point it would be advisable to limit it.
So it's 999.

The '#' number on the left is the block number.
The first block we ever found is #1, the 2nd one is #2 ... etc
It currently shows starting at #25

Orphans and Rejects don't have a '#' number and the counter doesn't include them.

The 'B' number on the right is the reverse of that, meaning the last block found is 1, 2nd last is 2, etc
The point of the 'B' number is to match up the top statistics table where it says info like "Last 100 Blocks ... 109.97%"
The 'B' numbers repeat if it's an Orphan or a Reject, so you can see which 'attempted block' numbers are added together for the top table.

e.g. if you go back to the last 2 orphans, you'll see:
Code:
868 410526 ... Matured 427,437,036,426    239.247% 0.909 97.18% 146
    410419 ... Orphan *90,228,184,026    50.503% 0.397 146
867 410397 ... Matured 829,847,990,270    464.486% 0.990 98.64% 147
    410208 ... Orphan *156,814,547,348   87.773% 0.584 147
866 410176 ... Matured 456,133,088,113    255.309% 0.922 103.86% 148

Which means:
the orphan values will be added to the blocks after it in the top table (as expected) since an orphan is effectively the same as just continuing trying to find a block without it ever existing.
Minor aside point, the colour of the Diff% is actually decided based on the sum of the block+orphans/rejects immediately before it.
So for example, the colour of 868's "239.247%" is actually using 298.75% (239.247% + 50.503%)

Block by cytline!!!

Didn't we pass the 1000 blocks like ages ago.... (well 3 days ago?)

Hmmm ... I'm seeing see the # at the left and a B at the right on the BLOCK STATS page .... I'm abit confused which is the number of blocs found by the Kano pool, briefly scrolling through... I'm not sure what to make of it. I was thinking the B on the right was the number of VALID blocks found... but now I'm not sure.

Anyone with a definite answer?

I think you are correct.

989 valid blocks found so far

if you look at the B on the right and scroll down you can only see to block 25..

if you add 25 to 989 it gives you 1014, which is the block we are on.

Meanwhile a 1.6% diff drop from 199312067531.24 down to 196061423939.65

Interesting. Maybe enough people turning off their S7 miners to try to sell them and haven't received the S9 miners yet to replace them? just a thought.

Ahhhh, Kano, good Sir....

for future reference, for the newbs, or for those impaired by substances suck as tequila etc....   would it be possible to list all the kano mining servers either at kano.is (Miner Configuration) or on the 1st message of this thread?  Newbs probably don't know to search the thread for such a thing and excessive summertime happyness substances tend to make people say "fook that, I aint searchin'" when intoxicatedly adjusting their miners .....

Thanks

as for the Antminer S9, My official stance is .....  ohhhh definitely I'll bite for several units.... BUT.... not now, probably not until Batch 4 or 5 so the prices get a little lower and the bugs of field implementation are fixed and new revisions rolled out.

Of course, they will be pointed at kano.is :-)

Till then, eat CHICKEN! and be happy.

wonk wonk!

I'm bbOOmm ... and I approve this message.... (with plenty of Tequila)
