In terms of reliability, does the Antminer T9 require less repairs than the S9?

I bought 2 used T9's, from a Colocation here at the forum,  and I've had Zero issues. Temporarily, they're running in my garage.
The day time temps reach between 80°f to 90°f, and the T9's run between 60°c and 78°c at a steady  ~11.5TH/s. Everything
about them has been good for the ~2 months I've been using them.

What is your voltage setting?

Stock. Nothing has been changed.

Don't know about T9, i just received 4 x T9+ - 10.5th on 11 jun 2018, 2 x T9+ running flawlessly but 1 of them lost 5 chains out of 9 chains in an hour Cry Cry  i sent it back to hong kong the next day.

Another one lost 1 chain upon first run, re-boot few time still the same, and lost another chain on the next day Angry  decided to run it until bitmain return the 1st one then i will sent this 2nd unit back to them.

so, T9+ may not = T9

I had the same issue with a few of mine and sent them back to the california facility..still haven't received them back and it's been nearly 2 months..

it is never about repair, it is about usage.

Keep it cold and dry and it should last for a year.

I don't know, with bitmain equipment you certainly have to factor in failures.  Every piece of equipment I've owned since my first 4 S5s have been in a professional cold data center and I've had a 30% failure rate with S9s.  The S7s were slightly better but not by much.  I can't imagine how bad it would have been if they hadn't been cold and dry the whole time.  Now, my Avalon equipment has been nothing but reliable with no failures as a frame of reference.

I have no experience with the T9 but they are also made by bitmain...

gee...
We had a real quick block, but right now it seems we have a hard as a diamond again...
Is it me, or are we having bad luck lately?
last week only 3 blocks...  Huh

This game required patience, look at the horizon, not your feet.

maybe true, but every now and then its very hard to do so...

I just hope you're all right...

Kano, The top icon on the website was showing Darth Vader a few minutes after the last block was found.
Yeah it's not the block, that's when a certain large miner fails over with more SPS than the whole pool Smiley
It's no problem, just delayed heartbeat messages and that's why darth vader shows up.
I have stats that show me the numbers every 15 seconds, and I also get the hearbeat alerts each time that shows me all the stats, and it is just heartbeats so it doesn't matter.
However, that was what I was referring to here about changing for that miner:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.39932683

... and lulz a certain person's double hack to work around it coz he can't control individual miner work difficulty with ckpool Smiley
