cryptodonkey on the pool.
I feel somewhat traumatized since I started to mine here and already suffered through two blocks of about 250%, that said, Isn't it a good timesaving idea to write out the duration for every finished block on the Pool/Blocks page ?

I know I can calculate it myself, but with all this trauma after those devilblocks it´s not that easy.

Eligius has a very good "recent blocks" page :

http://eligius.st/~gateway/stats/recent-blocks

Startingtime just as kano but also the Duration which I think is good.

Just noticed my hashrate fell off the chart. Using direct ip for SG node also no good. Same problem as before and my miner also didn't failover. Back to using the main pool node.

That happens to my S5's on the main pool but they would completely drop off the network.  I wouldn't be able to ping it or nothing.  I would have to power them off and back on.

Got text from ckpoolmonitor for last block . Used verizon wireless text email address. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Good idea!  Smiley

If anyone else wants to setup something like that: http://www.emailtextmessages.com/

Probably could use some kind of IFTTT integration if someone wanted too.

ah ha, i was informed by kano just a hiwle ago. yes did not failover. not using ip addy though

advised to use main till next couple hrs. he off to bed. im on main.

hmmm.... actually, even the bare IP4 is not failing over -- needs reboot to start hashing to workers page.

I think for now, better to use main US node for now.

In the past 15+ minutes SG is node down using stratum+tcp://sg.kano.is:3333, and the S7 did NOT failover, workers page shows no hash.

However, stratum+tcp://139.162.5.112:3333 which I have tested with an S5 today is holding up.

Will proceed to follow CK's suggestion on using the bare IP4 above. I think ryen123 has tested it ok today.

Hey guys,
I have a question.
I am trying to register to kano.is but everytime i fill username, email, password, retype password, and press register, the site redirects me to the register screen once again with all fields blank. Can i register or the only way is to point my miners to kano's pool?

Register and login are both on the same page.  Have you tried to just login at the top?

Sure you can register, usually its because people use a Hotmail account or something simple like that. you will see the error message in bold black underneath the word register

e.g.

User:[   ] Pass:  [  ]

or choose one:

*Leave blank if you haven't enabled it

The s3 the fertility god was on crashed right when we got the block.

Either it took 5 hours for the fertility God or one hour for the toddler.
The s3 the fertility god was on crashed right when we got the block.
If you look at the picture the s3 has a 207 sticker. That one crashed.
Twilight zone shit.

Hi @kano, @ck

I'm trying the SG node again in ip format (stratum+tcp://139.162.5.112:3333) as mentioned by @ck (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13468432) and its been hashing with no problems so far compared to yesterday (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13464774). Might be the problem/solution mentioned by @ck.  Cool
Yep, we've removed IPv6 from SG completely.

DE still has IPv6, the same as before, and seems to have no problems so far.

Still betting on it was an SG IPv6 network problem for some users and thus this should have solved it.

I am using the "stratum+tcp://sg.kano.is:3333" for a lone S5 and seems to be behaving the whole day.
I will migrate the S7s later tonight.

Ouch, we're coming up on 250% on the block... If I recall, somewhere back in this thread we found out that kano-san has a secret bit of code that when implemented gives the pool extraordinarily good luck, and we start popping blocks like popcorn.  I humbly suggest it be enabled at this time to exorcize the block before it turns into another spawn of satan...   Wink

/jk btw

Ok, fine, more chicken...

Kano pulled out the secret code at 249.72%, see he never lets it get to 250%. You asked and we got...
