If you know anyone on any bitmain pools or slush (which is probably now a bitmain pool also) with over 2PH then tell them about it
This is from the threads OP -- which I read because I was intrigued by your contest.
I'm just curious why you would suggest that Slush is a Bitmain Pool?
This is a legitimate question. Like some here -- I was one of the group that began the "merged mining" which was the beginning of Slush. Until 1 1/2 years ago I stayed in touch with the people over at Satoshi Labs and even participated in their Cryptoanarchist hackers convention.
Is this legitimate? Is it rumor that I haven't heard? Or just internet BS?
Seriously -- I'm genuinely interested because Bitmain has really bothered me lately with their BCH agenda (not to mention the "ordinary" laundry list of concerns).
Thanks!
Merged mining wasn't possible until after altcoins existed - so the end of 2011.
Slush started in 2010.
Anyway,
it's quite simple actually if you look at it sideways
Slush jumped by about 2EH in a few months.
Lets say 13.5THs miners, so that's about 148,000 miners went online in his pool over that short period of time.
Do you seriously think that all the miners at slush were able to get to: 5 times what they already had, in a few months? Seriously?
There were no 'new faster' miners. S9s had been around for well over a year already.
He's literally scammed everyone on his pool before, due to his own negligence, in Dec 2015, up to 500 BTC, so I can't see any reason why he'd have issue with helping Bitmain and letting them point a lot of miners at his pool to distribute their hash rate more.

Meanwhile, as far as the numbers show by someone here who keeps comparing slush to my pool, you've been losing out by mining on slush all that time, and paying him more than twice the fees here
