Sorry, I cannot share the image source. My lady bought/created the image, for her screen printing business. I had her add Kano Pool, just for me. It is not on her original design. She is in the process of adding Crypto shirts to her website. I'd like to make some stickers like that!
As far as selling-- I cannot, will not, without the expressed consent of Kano's Permission. The one off design I have is for personal use of promoting.

I think you confuse not caring for not having any recourse. I've read about this incident many times and it's good that you bring it up periodically because every miner should think about it. It's why I moved here...the rental hash ban. However, I like every other miner, has to place some trust in a pool op.
That is amazing point maddadata... I have mined on several different pools and tried very hard to get in touch with the pool ops for various reasons. Most hide their identity (and often contact information). Kano plus one other are the only ones I have ever received any response from. And Kano is the only one who puts thought and effort into the responses. I guess that is a big part of why I am here for good - but never thought about it that way! And even more than just responses, we all get regular updates, insights and nitty gritty info / training to help us understand the crypto world better.So let me thank you again Kano (and also to everyone on this forum) for sharing so much to make mining a lot more fun and exciting! Mine on and lets shoot for a 3 block weekend!

Mr. Kano do you support ASIC boost? as far as i have heard, only scam pools do.
Nope, mine hasn't shown up yet.I'll probably add it soon after that happens.
Kano is currently waiting for a Dragonmint T1 to arrive for testing. He has to adapt, and test, the asicboost coding to run on the pool. If you haven't read, or heard, the "other" pools have had problems lately. Might be from not properly testing the coding. This is, after all, a new technology that is still in its infancy.
One losing 3 blocks on various occasions.
The other losing 250-500 BTC by allowing a miner to test their system on the pool - a system that withheld blocks due to bugs.
That pool (slush) then hid the details about it and allowed the miner to get away with the large amount of BTC they were rewarded for testing mining with code that didn't work - the miners on the pool paid for it ... though today's hash rate on that pool proves that many of those miners didn't care about that loss that the pool hid the details from them, and the fact that the operator allowed that ... most likely for payment

Thanks for that if anyone else wants to read it was around page 1072 I believe.
While it didn't explain everything, there was the mystery 10 PH, and the delay in reporting... so am I right in assuming this was an example of a malicious miner withholding blocks, and a pool not noticing.
I remember you saying it's "not hard to do" but is counter intuitive to most unless you were say a rival trying to sink a pool.
It was interesting seeing yourself and " he who must not be named" tossing around facts and how long it took people to get the hint.

It's going to be an interesting weekend on the Island. The cubbyhole has become unusable.
I am going out to scour the island, looking for a new location.
With that in mind, I won't be able to commit to the next giveaway before the resumption of operations is assured. As soon as I know more, I'll post it here and on kanois.land.
