Kernal isnt showing any problems
Need the 4th back up and running
Obv mining on kano.is but posted in a sub category on this website
try to reboot the miner
Done a few times also changed psu as i thought maybe psu was faulty

Re-set to factory settings and if that doesn't fix it, upgrade the firmware.

for what reason have you changed the power supply? if possible then change the power supply accordingly
I swapped psu because i thought it might had been a psu problem but its not
Just swapped the ribbons around that connect the boards to the main board c if that makes a diffrance
sorry for my English, the above you wrote, was replaced by a fan? can there be a problem in it?

I've only ever once found a well known provider that supplied reasonable servers in Russia, and then they proved to be idiots coz the server kept shutting down due to 'using too much resources'
Ha-ha... Smiley

The provider did mention a service issue at the moment - so that could also be why some people might get timeouts or connection problems - however it's only the web server, nothing to do with miners.
I just rechecked from Russia directly - it works fine again!
So hopefully the issue is resolved.

Still, if you ever will decide it's reasonable to get your server in Russia - let me know! Smiley

Regarding the web site ...

I've only ever once found a well known provider that supplied reasonable servers in Russia, and then they proved to be idiots coz the server kept shutting down due to 'using too much resources'

The web server is in Silicon Valley (at the moment) and if some country feels like blocking that, I'm not gonna move it somewhere else to cater for that, since they're just as likely to block wherever I move it to.

The provider did mention a service issue at the moment - so that could also be why some people might get timeouts or connection problems - however it's only the web server, nothing to do with miners.

Hugh, then it may not be related to Russian authorities!
(Though, the problem for users from Russia may still arise, so a local mirror is something to consider)

A quick note to users from Russia:
You may experience issues accessing kano.is (the website itself). Perhaps, Russian authorities banned the IP subnet where the site is located. Use proxy / VPN in order to access the web site. Mining works fine without any VPNs, so it's only the web site that is affected (so far).

To those wondering what it is all about: Russian authorities are recently trying to ban the use of Telegram messenger. According to existing regulations, they are banning IP addresses used by the messenger. Since Telegram doesn't use a set of permanent IP addresses, this results in blocking of literally millions of different IPs over the last week or two. Many services like Google and AWS have had problems because of that. There's a way to unblock to addresses, but it takes days and requires IP owner to officially request unblocking. Funny thing is that the Telegram itself still works fine (most of the time), no matter what. There's even a joke circulating locally that after the ban of Telegram, all the services stopped working in Russia, except for the Telegram itself. Smiley

Kano, do you know if you have any serious traffic from Russia? It may be worth to consider establishing a local pool mirror (in order to be 100% sure it doesn't get banned).
(Feel free to PM me if you need any additional information)
I'm not from Russia, but I also can not access the site  Huh
