Very new here. Signed onto kano pool this morning mining to wallet address. How do I navigate to my rewards page to check my progress?

You will not see a reward until we find a block, if you just started this morning it will take 500% worth of mining to get a full reward and welcome to the best pool ever.

Quick question as far as hosted mining in Canada and US specifically...

What in your opinion is a fair and reasonable price in US $$ for someone to host an S9 miner?

I've looked at a few sites and seen prices anywhere from $95 up to $125 per month..some more, some a bit less.

Does not seem like you getting ahead by much if any at those prices...

I've been looking to find a reasonable place to host them, but pretty much decided to just expand my own mining operation.

Mine on Kano-San!

depends on what you're paying for power with your current op. I was paying 18.5 cents. No brainer for me.

Here’s one of the main reasons I drove my machines to Idaho from Connecticut instead of shipping them

OOOO give me a home where the bitcoin blocks roam and the avalons and antminers play!

That made me smile Cheesy

May 15th (turn on date) can’t come soon enough. I miss mining.

I assume you mean the pass phrase (12 different words) by private key? It might be possible to create a new key in Electrum, but I still havent looked into that.

In Electrum, the 12 words are your "seed". What that means is, if you happen to lose the hard drive in your computer, you can use the "seed" on a fresh install of Electrum to get your private keys, addresses and any bitcoin you had, recovered. The private keys are generated for each address you have. Electrum generates a bunch when it's installed. Never give anyone your private keys.
Electrum has alot of great options, you just need to understand, the importance of, and how to use them.

Make sure you set up a password on your Electrum wallet as well. Check out the forum thread below, for tips and How to's. Goodluck!!!

Electrum Thread:

Thanks Shazam and ccgllc for the info.

I was mining for a while directly to Coinbase and when I figured out that that might not be a great idea I started to look at desktop wallets. A friend suggested Exodus so I tried that out and liked the looks of it a lot until I got the warning about small payments and transaction fees. After that I installed Electrum and received my first payment there when the last block matured. Feeling stupid here, but thats really all my experience in wallets so far.

I'll have a look in the Electrum thread later on, but now I need to get a few hours sleep before work tomorrow.

Mine on!

Here's mine.  USD it's about $9-11
The pool N average your asking for is higher than what I'm showing so that will play a role in your payout as well.

I have a noob question here.  I just received a Terminus R808 pod miner which I pointed to this pool over the weekend.  My miner was online for the last three blocks found.  They have all matured so I would have expected a small fraction to be sent to my online wallet.  Is this amount so small that it gets all eaten up in fees with each transfer?  Just wondering why I have not seen anything yet.

Yes I know it is not profitable.  Just trying to learn the ropes and have some fun.

Thanks.
If it's small enough to only mine dust then:
