Hi. Payments under blocks 515627,515733,515768,515930,516020 were not paid. I ask you to make payments. My username alena26.
I will be grateful to you. So long.
With respect, alena26.
You didn't have a payout address set - as I said in PM.
They are now part of your dust to be paid out in the future.

On your 'rewards' page, do those rewards for those blocks have a red asterisk?  If you were below the dust level they don't get paid out right now.

I am now at KANO with ~250 th/h and so far I dont see any advantage to slushpool.

I get ~0.0079 bitcoin for a block found ~2 days at kano with 250 th/s

I get ~0.0250 bitcoin every day for n blocks with 150 th/s

so what's the point on staying at kano? Or do I just have to wait to get more % share of the network after these "7 days and 10 hours" ?

I mined here for a month, and then left near the end of Feb because I thought the pool was dying, and went to slush.

Once you are fully ramped (7-8 days'ish right now) your will get bigger payouts.  And when you turn your miners off, you will still get payouts for a little while, due to the ramp up/down.

Kano put in his own coin, doubled the pool size, and variance is better.  Stick it out and it will be worth it, I wish I had not left, but am glad I'm back.  Plus the group here is pretty nice.  As a tiny, single machine miner, I still make quite a bit more here.

I'd like to add another 841, but they are pretty expensive compared to an S9 with a $400 coupon.  (If anyone has a coupon cheap, I promise to point everything here!).

Can't happen over night mate. You have to be patient.

Ditto!!! Once you get that "paid by the day" out of your mind, and let the reality of the ACTUAL rewards settle, you'll understand it.
Try to think of it as a Regular paycheck. When I go to work, I get paid on Friday. Not every day.

The ramp will be over before you know it, and your percentage will be much, much better. Be strong!!! Purge that Corporate filth from your mind!!! Ha!!!

sure, i'll wait and compare within the next few weeks.

I figured this much out...Statistically you are better off joining Kano during a bad luck period.  It would almost benefit you to get through the "ramp up" while the pool goes through "long blocks" so the when the worm turns your hard work pays off.  Counter intuitive to all of us, but that kinda how it works.  Also if you were to have an outage during a high luck period you would still earn.

Welcome aboard! A better comparison would be a couple of months (because of luck), but the large miners who have been here for a while will certainly confirm that overall profits are better here than anywhere else.
Mine on!

I have diffs that vary from 10.x to 13.x - I'd consider those normal and just move on.
Ya like I said I don't think its a problem per se...just interesting to see how the system works and learning to interpret the #s...
Yeah the 'aim' of the code there is to avoid changing it around too often, so once it gets adjusted within a % of the expected 18 SPM (shares per minute), it leaves it alone.

Of course, the actual value doesn't matter except for a minor (unnoticeable) effect on variance when they're close to the expected 18 SPM
I'll just add this for the newcomers: Keep it simple by thinking of it as Diff * Shares = Diff Share, which means there's more than one way to get to the same amount of total work being done...

Examples:
10k * 1k = 10G
5k * 2k = 10G

As you can see, the total work stays the same in the end.
Yeah I guess I should have also added:

If your Work Diff is different from the 18 SPM value, it will only affect your variance, not your expected reward.

The higher the Work Diff is above 18 SPM the greater the affect on variance, but it really has to be a few orders of magnitude above, before you'd even possibly notice anything.

So yeah maybe if it was 1,000,000 or more you 'might' see a little more variance on a current miner Smiley

Thanx 4 the tip guys!  I'm still thinking like I'm on slushpool...over there small amounts of variance can affect block rewards especially during short rounds/high luck periods.  I'm starting to see that PPLNS filters out alot of that.  its a benefit of this system that;s kinda hard 4 me to wrap my head around, but I'm gettin it!

Thank you! The wooden sound cabinet is an item I can make pretty easily. Don't see a reason to pay a $180 for it.

My chips are at 74, 71, and 67 at the moment.

Absolutely!  It's the ideas you can get by looking at that stuff that's important Cheesy

I've been mining on here since Feb 2017 (a little over a year) with 3 R4's that I bought off of ebay. I have been very happy here between the mostly friendly community and Kano's openness and willingness to so patiently answer the same questions over and over again. I can't imagine mining anywhere else.

I finally bit the bullet and decided to expand my little mine. I added 2 Avalon 741's about a week and a half ago and just got in 3 brand new Avalon 841's from Blockforge today and got those up and running and pointed here. After seeing my hash rate around 25TH for the last year it is really exciting to see about 80TH on the front page. Still one of the little guys but enjoying every minute of it. Let's get some blocks!!

Good call going the Avalon route.  Mine are steady and boring...just the way I like it!  I wish I could say the same about my bitmain equipment.  Roll Eyes
