Does anyone have the new Dragonmint 16T miner running yet?
I see where they are available on Ebay so guessing someone has a few running?
Initial thoughts on Hash Rate, Noise, and power consumption?  Are they worth the money for the extra 3TH over the S9?
Great deals out there on the new S9's if you have the $420 coupon...
Any feedback would be appreciated?
Ref the Halong Dragon thread for feelings about the company and its products. That discussion does not belong here specifically because the T1 does NOT WORK AT ALL on 'normal' (non-AB patched) pools.

I read a firmware update is supposed to be coming out to where we can point to any pool, so we can use on kano then.

is it recommended to break out workers or just keep everything under the same worker name?

I prefer to label them independently, for the sake of monitoring more precisely. If 1 miner is showing symptoms, I can easily see it on the "worker" page. Takes out ALOT of guess work.

I received a found block notification....... I suppose I can disregard due to the restart?

Got two of those in a row and was all excited... good to see the pool at 144PHs! Looks like Canaan just added/testing an additional 2PH, and bluelagoon has either returned/failed over.

Hi. Payments under blocks 515627,515733,515768,515930,516020 were not paid. I ask you to make payments. My username alena26.
I will be grateful to you. So long.
With respect, alena26.
You didn't have a payout address set - as I said in PM.
They are now part of your dust to be paid out in the future.
Hi. It's not dusty payments. It is 0.00182808 BTC. If You are not able to pay the payments, that's fine. O.k.  But why did you delete my account from your kano pool?
No account was deleted.
As I said, you didn't have a payout address.
Once you add a payout address, you get payouts for each block after that.
Your rewards before that are now part of your dust to be paid out when I complete the accounting code.
I'm sorry. The account has not been deleted. I think there was a mistake on pool. Thank you for your answer. I wish you good luck.

Just a couple of thoughts from someone who's been mining here for a couple of years...

The public-facing screen looks like that whenever the DB program is rebooting. It's not an issue. Mining continues, as Sonny said, in the background. Dozens of posts on this board explaining that.

The other is that, if one fails/forgets/whatever to enter a payout address when registering, and then wonders where the coin went, well...and then complains some more about how their apparent lack of attention to detail (fatal in this business) isn't being managed to their liking...

There's always those "other" pools.  Kiss

EDIT: The point being to "be nice." It works a lot better, and the transparency on Kano Pool is obvious. We appreciate all hash; we do support our operator, though, as well.

Does restarting the pool effect ramp up in any way?
KDB restart has zero affect on mining or ramp or anything else.
It's just the web site is unavailable or full of zeros/?s while it's restarting.

Nope, a minor blip at the very most which you cover within the same amount of time.

My uneducated guess is probably but very limited. He said the DB is down. That’s not a front end problem
