KanoPool support goes something like this: If an user loses a password, he/she has to make a new account (with a different login name), the end.

What you are probably referring to is, if you enable 2FA, but don't bother to save your 2FA secret key, which the web page shows you and tells you to do so in bold red, then you cannot get back into your account if you lose your 2FA device.
The point of 2FA is to be secure, otherwise there's no point having it if you can bypass it.

Hey Kano,
I finally switched back to your pool and figured out I had the wrong wallet address still saved (so first payment going to the great gods of BTC...yeah...). When trying to change the address via phone I inserted my pw wrongly too often. How long do I have to wait until I can login again?

Scaary - you only use the discord invite link ONCE, just to register there. It is an INVITE link - not general access.
Once registered just copy the address from the browser address bar and use THAT to get in.

The web server has been running slowly or sometimes not even responding for the last couple of hours.
NO mining is affected at all.
It isn't connected to any of the mining nodes.
The problem appears to be a network issue in/near the datacenter in silicon valley where the web server is, but they've still not resolved yet.
I'll update again when it's resolved.
Web site has been OK for a short while now, so I guess whoever the upstream network provider was from the web server provider, that had the actual network problem, has resolved it now. NO mining is affected at all.

nope, they requested I send the whole miner, so down to 9 miners now - having sold 11 of my s9's - 9 of which are mine and 2 are a coworker's

I love it when we get blocks! Especially since I had to take my T15 online today, so I am ramping down, so the more blocks the better! One of the hashboard stopped reporting temps (seems to be a recurring issue as I have sent in 3 other miners for same issue) so sending in and will be waiting for it to return. Hopefully less than 2 weeks so I dont ramp fully down.
