Changing the 'ramp' is not how PPLNS works, nor would it be appreciated by those already at the 5Nd.  If you want less 'ramp' time, increase the pool's hashrate by mining here!  Wink
You really missed the point and will be hoping to get 2 blocks in a month soon.. so sure, even if you solo mine 'the math works out' if you can live 7000 years or whatever
Fake news! Sad!
Really??

EDIT: In all seriousness, I don't have any animosity toward you. I appreciate differing opinions, and I wish us all success in mining--here of wherever you prefer. Best of luck!

He's not a miner. I believe he is just going around trashing mining now. He may have been a miner at some point, but his name alone leads me to believe he prefers (delegated)PoS to PoW.

He's more than welcome to comment as well, of course.

Your more than welcome to go back and search on my old account DPoS instead of fabricating

And even in this thread go back to my early posts a month or so ago to see how my main points of a small pool should still stay above 20 expected blocks a month so luck doesn't bite you in the ass...  but even Kano ignores it and acts like the math stays the same all the way down to one USB miner and 'everything works out'

what a bunch of douches

Math was never your strong suit.  Run along children, the adults are talking.

There are a few of these FUD packing vultures, circling the Mining section. I've noticed alot of their opinions look alot like the
FUD bots on Twitter. If they believe what is happening in these threads is not worth their while, the should be kindly escorted
to the complaint department: Log Out!

He'll code it before the next block...of this I'm certain.

Kano, now that you're awake, can you also add a to-do for higher precision percentages amongst the website pages?

Four decimal places would be great since I notice some places it gets rounded to three or even two decimal places.

Thanks, and great work on everything else!

Kanopool and CKpool are two different pools, with two different pool admins.  It should be noted that the 'k' in ckpool software is indeed our own esteemed kano. 'c' is the other guy.
So, is ckpool the solo and/or lottery pool?

Linux since 1997 RedHat 4
Block 509166 and 509209 payouts both just sent.
Took a little longer than I expected ... mainly due to falling asleep twice ... once at the keyboard Smiley

Yes i read about the dust payment
I assume i will be rewarded with something ( not expecting much lol) when a block is found?
Last block been found 25h ago is that correct?
I dont care about short term payment, long term is good with me
Im mining ltc so thats my short term money lol
You're correct as long as your reward is over the dust payment threshold.
Yep, 25 hours ago.
Good mindset. You'll make more here in the long-run.

Dust is on the "reward someday" list of things Kano is working on. He is trying to get an accounting system built.

hi guys I'm alex I'm a mining noob lol
only recently joined the mining club
got a few questions tho
is there any difference between kano.is ( which is were my miners r  now mining) and ckpool?
after reading on the internet I wanted to mine on kano pool but only site that I could find at the time is ckpool
now I found this topic I'm mining on kano.is
my hardware is
spondoolies sp20 running at 1.5th
antminer s3
antminer s1 ( offline atm)
rockminer new r-box 130ghz
bought them real cheap and got free power plus doing this for fun lol
hope to buy an s9 soon
is there any point me even mining on this pool with my miners
I have set up an account and each miner has its own worker  name
thanks
Welcome aboard! Right off the bat, you sound like a great candidate for this pool since you've got more than enough hashpower to stay out of "dust payment" territory (see previous few pages), you've got a great power supply situation, and it doesn't sound like you're expecting to rely on small, daily payouts.

Mine on, and see my sig for a few tips.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, and KanoPool is synonymous with CKPool.
