I've switched the kano.is and kano.space web server over to a new server today (faster, more RAM, more CPU, dedicated hardware)

My firefox switched over without any issues.
Alas I had to restart chrome to make it work properly.

If you are unable to clear the information chrome wants to remember about the old server, then you can solve that, temporarily or permanently, by opening https://kano.space/ instead of https://kano.is/

It of course points to exactly the same server and replies with the same information, but as I mention on the web home page:

It's a 'backup domain' in case you ever have any problems using the kano.is domain

I've so far not noticed any problems with other devices, but again, if anything you connect with wont connect to the new server due to only remembering the old server information, just switch to https://kano.space/

Dust doesn't accumulate to a payout threshold. Kano is working on some accounting code, once finished dust payments will be sent out.

If you are new and ramping up once you are over the dust threshold, you receive a reward every block.

Thanks to this block you can see the pool confirming it's own transaction for the last blocks payout. Definitely a great way to keep fees low and more BTC in the hands of the miners.

First M10 block on the pool as well if i'm not mistaken.

A block finding reward increases everyone's variance.

No one can decide if and when they will find a block.
It reduces rewards for everyone who doesn't find a block.

Since that is out of the control of the miner, it simply turns mining into a luck game.
We don't consider mining BTC a game, so there is no reward taken from the block to give to the block finder.

Shares are rewarded based on your proportion of the work done (in the last 5Nd)
We don't consider that a game either, shares are worth the work difficulty specified by the pool.

If, however, you are a large miner, there is still the ongoing bonus (out of my pocket) as per the first post.

I wish I had that much hashing power lol I am still trying to get my building permit - no luck so far Sad

If/when I get it, I will want to put at least 100 miners on kano and then I will spread the others out to mine other SHA-256 coins such as BCH and LCC - I am currently making almost $20 a day mining LCC with just 5 S9's

There's over 50,000 outstanding bitcoin transactions (don't you just love these useless fixes by core ... pushed under the name segwit ...)

Of course if you (or anyone on the pool) finds a block, it will be confirmed

The issue is that the number of transactions has risen a lot since the price rise, so our 'low' fee payout hasn't confirmed yet.

There's over 50,000 outstanding bitcoin transactions (don't you just love these useless fixes by core ... pushed under the name segwit ...)

Of course if you (or anyone on the pool) finds a block, it will be confirmed
