But at the time this happened I was not at 4.60av on the chart.
I mined a bit with 1 S9, then left and now back with 3 S9's.
I sincerely hope we find another 100 blocks while I'm ramping up... I know that's extreme but I would rather see the pool continue to find blocks, even if not getting paid 100%.

Last year when I travelled around a bit I also made sure (when possible) that I had wifi on the planes so alerts and alarms would work there also.

If you can't remember your password, use the password reset.

... i found an entry in my password booklet. Kano was my second stop when I first got the S4, but I wasn't knowledgeable enough to figure out the setup back then. I had already made an account, as you said, with another password in December. I can be dense sometimes.
I haven't been to slush pool. I don't know why, but it sounds sneaky. LOL. Historically, people aren't above the table with slush funds! I landed at BTC.COM and mined with them for a while before I started messing with altcoins. As far as I can determine, where ASIC miners are concerned, you make pretty much the same USD no matter what you mine, or there is minimal fluxuation. Once I learned about transaction fees though, and saw the action in the bitcoin market, I realized I needed to get back onto the non-altcoin bandwagon. Those who are declaring bitcoin dead, are buying bitcoin, is my determination.

Well there's a number of reasons not to mine on slush and always has been ...for the share and etc., slushpool aren't different from chinese pool now i think -.-
1) They mine empty blocks - that's unnecessary and stupid - it's by design on slush - every block change is an empty block work item.
2) They ripped off all the miners in Dec 2015 and for some unknown reason a lot of the larger miners didn't mind

Does a drop in btc price usually mean a drop in hash power for btc and therefore a lower difficulty in the near future?
zzzzzI've been wondering the same thing today. I've also wondered if dives in prices like these might scare off the fainter of heart and maybe drop some hardware costs.. .lol
IIRC, it takes about 2 weeks for the bitcoin difficulty to adjust itself. In that time period a lot can happen in bitcoin price.
