FYI it's now 2018 UTC so if the code change worked properly, the next block will have a 0.9% fee again like they've had since the pool started until 19-Nov-2017

Not yet.  The pool op (Kano) is still working on modifying the pool code to securely and accurately process dust payments.

It says on the payment page the payments below .0001 btc are not sent out yet. I figured it would add up and I would get a payment. Is that not how it works?

My estimate is you need about 180Gh at the minimum to be rewarded .0001 for each block right now

Your payment will go out if:

1. You have 0.0001 in any given block reward
2. The block gets 101 confirms
3. After the 101 confirms we find another block*

Certain circumstances may apply.

You need to be over the dust threshold for each block...you can't add up dust payments to equal a regular payment.

I just started getting into mining and have a small 2pac farm.  After 2 weeks now I finally have .00021061 BTC in my account, but I have not been sent my payment yet.  I know dust payments are not automatically sent out and payments send after 100 block confirms, but I now have double what is required to send. I was curious when my payment would send.  my username is Zach on KanoPool.

Come on New Years Eve blocks, Baby has a real estate tax to pay.....

One more block that contains the payouts for the these last 2 blocks would be pretty sweet.

It updated last night to show the Christmas block.   We're good.   MINE ON and let's get another block with two payouts!

Question...

One of the S9s I have decided to take a break from work and two of the boards decided to take a vacation. I am sending them out and going to have them repaired. The third board is working just fine and having around 4.45 TH/s. I decided to keep that one mining while the other 2 boards are out for repair. Question is I see the unit under the "workers" tab and the shift graph is correct but the unit is showing idle in the app. What gives?

Can someone summarize the lowdown on getting an Avalon unit? When will they be available? How hard is it to get one? How do we get one? Roughly how much will they cost? The cost of the S9 is insanely high right now. Will the price surge occur with the Avalon as well?

Yup, the ramp up process is still there when you add another one.  Its up hill.. then when you get to the top, its a little bumpy, depending what the block rewards are, but you will come out ahead of any other pool.  Here you get those transaction fees rewarded to miners.  Plus its the lowest fee of 0.9 percent ( 0.0 ) until 2018, which is a few hours, but hey, where else do you see that kind of stuff in the bitcoin world.....


I started with 1 S9 on Dec 10, and just a few days ago got another 4.  I thought it was a good way to heat my house and garage. :-)  What kind of heater PAYS you to use it?


FYI The easiest way it can be explained, that I can think of is, that red area on the Workers Shift graph is a moving window.  You get paid on the percentage of the shares you contributed to the total.  So just hover your mouse over the left side, and you will see the date at when the window starts.  if you were mining on that day and time, you are ramped up.  If you started somewhere between then and now, your average is less over that full period of time.  BUT never fear, if you stop mining at kano ( and you know you WON'T :-)  you get that ramp down the same way the ramp up was.  Except the percentage of the shares for the period was going down, so the payouts will decrease as that " window " passes.
